I shared my budget (I gave him a number lower than what I was truly willing to spend) figuring I would get the usual high rate and have to negotiate down. We discussed plants, water issue, drainage and continued maintenance. I ask a lot of questions and he gave very informative answers. I finally thought after an hour or so, I should let this man be on his way. He promised to call me the following day with pricing. He did as promised. Wow, this was awesome. He gave me a quote for my updated landscape and to my surprise he stayed under the budget I had told him, making suggestions on how to save even more money. The job has turned out beautifully and I will say this company has stood by their word. They have integrity, are very honest, hard working and man of his word. I was referred to them by a friend, they don't advertise, it's only referrals. So I hope this will help you find your beautiful landscape.

I contacted Steve via text and via e-mail very courteously to fulfill the requirement of the warranty on a few rose bushes his team planted for me at our main home that never grew. Four of the ones that he planted for us died. He responded and scheduled a time to come and replace them. On the day he scheduled to come, he called and said that the roses were not in stock and would be the following Monday. I never heard from him the following Monday. His team them abruptly scheduled a date and time to come to plant something that I received via e-mail and didn't know on that date and time either, which was a Sunday afternoon. I kindly parked with flags the plants that needed to be replaced under the warranty from an over $1000 purchase I made on plants. The communication is subpar and I fear they do not want to fulfill the stipulations of the warranty on plants. Beware of this type of interaction and any promise they make on warranty fulfillment when you purchase services from this company.

We will tweak his plans a bit, but now the design elements have purpose behind them instead of just adding a bunch of trees and shrubs that we "think" will look nice. If you're taking on a landscape project, I would recommend starting with Mark and then working with landscapers to implement. His fee is worth it in comparison to a landscape implementation cost to ensure you start with the right plan.

A week (and thousands of dollars) later I knew he was struggling because nothing seemed done so I started looking for a different landscaper. Hector was quick to respond and came to the house on the same day. He gave me his initial thoughts and the estimate came the following day. He and his crew had the bulk of the work done in a day and went the extra mile to add finishing touches that improved on what I was envisioning.
