Brian was extremely prompt. He was on time for the initial quote, on time when he said he was coming over to drop off samples, and he and his crew were even a bit early on both days of work required to complete the roof. Brian was extremely patient and helpful throughout the process, answering all of my questions, and taking the time to get on the roof himself to take close up pictures to show me the issues that we had so that I was better educated. We needed to have the entire roof replaced, and Brian told us it would take one day, possibly two worst case scenario. Turns out out roof was not properly vented and so we had FORTY sheets if plywood that needed to be replaced. Had it not been for that extreme amount of additional work, I am certain they would have finished in one day. Both days the weather outside was approximately 15 degrees, but that didn't stop him or his crew. They were at the house by 7:30 AM (on Saturday and Sunday), and didn't leave till after the sun went down the first day. Very hard working, cleaned up after themselves each day as immaculately as you could hope a roofing crew to. We had the roof done in early November, and there has not been an issue yet, so I haven't had to call Brian back to fix anything (though given our experience up till now, I have no doubt he would make it right back out here).All told, it was an extremely pleasant process working with Brian and his crew, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who would listen. The sales people were helpful but also felt very much a sales pitch- they did not have some of the…read morespecific products we wanted, but did go out of their was to find one of the patio doors that they initially did not think they could get. They also did not itemize the bill and when we asked for an itemized bill told us their computer program did not know how to itemize. To me that made no sense and leaves me feeling like we may have been ripped off with our prices We ordered our windows on April 10 and told it would be 4-6 weeks until delivery. We did not get them until June 24 (10 weeks). This took a lot of time and energy pushing- they kept pushing back the timeframe and at one point told us mid- July. This may not be an issue if you are just getting replacement windows, but we are doing an addition and cannot get the inspection until the windows are in place. The delay on this delayed our entire project. That being said, our architect drew the plans for our skylights wrong, and the sales person actually helped us get the correct size quickly (like the same day we started to install!) it was very helpful and above and beyond for him to do that (though I'm not sure if he could get them the same day why we couldn't get all of our windows sooner!!) .

It's been over two weeks since they replaced the roof and have yet to install the chimney cap. I've contacted the company several times asking them to finish the job, and each time I get in contact with their production department, they tell me that they are waiting to hear back from the roofing crew about scheduling. Additional highlights of my experience since they started work; it took a week for them to remove the dumpster that was taking up my driveway, and two weeks to remove leftover construction materials that were sitting in my front yard, issues which I raised multiple times with them over the phone. Additionally, when we agreed upon the contract covering the roof replacement I was told it would be 6-8 weeks until a crew would be able to do the replacement. After six weeks, I started reaching out to the representative who sold me the roof and did not hear back for two weeks. I eventually called the company directly, and surprise, they were JUST about to call me to schedule when the crew could come by. In total, customer service for this company is abysmal.

Not with EB. Everything from start to finish was incredibly professional, fair, and done with excellence. I needed some aluminum trim for my windows and the sides of my home sealed up. Not an enormous job but big enough. For starters, they answered their phone. I know that sounds funny, but you'd be amazed how difficult it is to get anyone in the construction/contracting field to even acknowledge your presence, much less care about your issue. The ladies in the office were incredibly nice and friendly, and treated me as if they wanted my business, and not just another annoying customer they had to deal with. They scheduled an estimate right away. Then came Colin to do the estimate. We only had a brief exchange but he's so personable and friendly, I felt like we had been friends for a while. He gave it to me straight, which I appreciate, and the quote turned out to be less than I thought. After a return visit, it turns out one of the sides of my home was in worse shape than we originally thought, and it turned into a bigger job, which of course, meant more $$. Again, Colin was direct about the issue, but I could tell he also felt bad about delivering the news to me. It wasn't his fault I moved into an old house, but he handled the situation with care, which made a huge difference in how I reacted. We went ahead with everything and within a couple of weeks, the guys showed up to do the work. The whole job lasted 3 days in the hottest part of the summer. Poor guys! I work from home so I was with them the entire time, and again, it was if I had known them for a while. They were super friendly, incredibly positive, and did an amazing job. They walked me around the house where they had done work so I could make sure I was satisfied right there on the spot. I never once felt like they were slacking, or cutting corners. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Lastly came the final bill. And it ended up being about $1000 less than I was expecting! Woo hoo! Again, as I was squaring up with the ladies in the office, they were so kind, and personable. What that says to me is everyone enjoys where they work, who they work with, and really care about their customers. It makes a HUGE difference. I cannot recommend this company enough if you need any sort of work done. It doesn't matter who you talk to, you will walk away from the experience completely satisfied and confident that everything was handled with your best interest in mind.
