He inspected the area of concern, as well as other areas that are known to be of concern; giving us good advice to remove any wood from the basement (that is just sitting), and replacing effected/damaged wood on the exterior corner of the house, before closing said exterior. Noting that this could be done prior to termite/ant suppression/abatement treatment.

No snap, crackle, or pop, and little heat from it. I contacted several prospective businesses using Thumbtack and chose GMT. The sales rep, Joe, informed me the previous work was not good or up to code and explained the problem and what they would to do fix it. This included demolishing the old chimney and replacing it, as well as putting in a new liner. They also did work in the basement to replace cracking seals and ducts. The result: The fireplace burns better than it ever has. I appreciate their work and highly recommend them.

Tip re any vent cleaning by any company: I decided to handwash all of the vent covers removed. They told me that they would vacuum each one. I did not expect anyone to stand at my sink and handwash the "junk" that could not vacuumed off. Overall, Everclean did a great job for a very reasonable price given the amount of time and effort put in. They came to the house, advised what would need to be done, gave me a time frame and requested a price requesting a substantial deposit/portion of the of the quoted price. They began work and all seemed to be going well, until a few days later. Rich never came to my residence while his crew was working to check on things or talk to me and after numerous attempts to contact him over concerns I had, all my calls and messages went unanswered. Needless to say, we hit a little bump in the road and here I sit months later waiting for him and his crew to finish what they started. Because of how they left my home the last time, I now have substantial water damage due to not covering things that should've been shielded and covered. They left my home a mess, for which I had to hire someone to clean. I have since hired someone else, having to pay even more than I should've because I had given him a substantial deposit for work that was never completed and never received any monies for the work he never completed and my home was just left to rot. In my opinion, Rich does not have the knowledge he claims to have and apparently his hiring process is a revolving door, due to how he treats his employees. I would not recommend him to update my dog house, let alone my own home. I will be seeing him in court.

If you believe in treating others as equals then please don't support A&A Pest Control. It's very unfortunate that what could be such a great business is ran by racist individuals who under pay their employees (as in do not pay for the correct hours worked) and speak/treat their employees as they are less. I've witness the disrespect from the owners daughter Robin towards minority employee(s) who really were just there to do the job they were hired for. Robin stated to an employee that they were being "annoying" because they had questions about their missing pay. Very unprofessional, no integrity in this business. Family owned and it's unfortunate that the owner will be leaving his business in the hands of someone like that. If you are a minority please save your time and don't even apply to work here. read more

Knowing it was going to rain, I called on Monday to ask them to come earlier in the week to make sure the grounds were sprayed. They told me "not to worry about it" and that they would "take care of it." This was untrue. Now the day before my wedding, it is raining. They refuse to spray. That's not even the worst part. I spoke with Abbey, a manager in the store. She was dismissive, rude, and defensive about her poor customer service and her company's failure to live up to its responsibility. In fact, she refused to take any responsibility, blaming the weather and saying there was "nothing they could do." I did point out they could have come earlier in the week, they could have communicated with us better that they wouldn't be able to spray with the rain, and that we might have issues. But we were left in the dark until the day before the event that there would be no spraying. This was upsetting, and then on top of that to have Abbey be condescending on the phone with people who do not know pest control or what it entails was the worst customer service experience of my life. I will be reporting to the better business bureau, and I would never recommend this company for any special event. I was able to contact Orkin who took care of my pest needs and were pleasant and appreciative of the fact this was my wedding and a very important occasion.

After Jeff got rid of the flying squirrels (without killing them; he used a one-way trap and sealed the hole in my house), I thought I heard them in the house again. Turns out, I had gray squirrels instead ... Jeff came out to set a one-way trap for the gray squirrels - and while he was at it, he sprayed a yellow jacket nest that he happened to walk by. Even when I offered to pay for the trap and the yellow jacket, he didn't charge me. He said it was included in my original issue. These guys are stand-up businessmen who really know how to treat a customer. I will continue to recommend them to my friends if they have any pest problems.
