We have a rather…read moreexpensive granite-composite undermount sink in our kitchen; I got a call one day from my wife saying that the corner of the sink had just broken out when she set a pan in it. I researched to find the nearest dealer and ordered a replacement from a Castle Rock plumbing supply. At that time, I asked if the plumbing supply had anyone they could recommend to replace the sink. She gave me a couple of names, the first of which did not respond. The second company that I tried contacting was Ted Horton's and he responded right away. We made tentative arrangements to have him remove the old sink and install the new one. He even offered to come out and temporarily shore up the sink if we needed and also offered to pick up the sink on his way out to our house. When the sink arrived, Ted came out for the removal. When he had successfully removed the sink in (mostly) one piece, he discovered that the plumbing supplier had ordered the wrong sink. Since the lead time on getting that particular sink is a couple of weeks, Ted fashioned a temporary sink for us and reconnected the dishwasher for us so that we didn't have to take loads of dishes down the stairs to a slop sink in the basement. Ted took the sink he had removed to the plumbing supply to ensure that the correct one was ordered. When the new sink arrived, we called Ted and he again picked up and delivered the new sink. They had it installed and working perfectly in a couple of hours. Ted's experience, work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile was top notch, to say the least! On top of that, his prices were very reasonable, given the level of experience and extra services he provided. I rarely take the time to leave a review, but I highly recommend Ted's Right Touch Plumbing if you are in need of outstanding service and quality work!

Would rate this a zero if possible…read more Our relationship with Patriot Pros Plumbing and Heating started when our tankless water heater failed to produce heat. The previous maintainer/contractor was Chad's Pumbing. After making the call to Chad, we discovered that the call now went to Patriot Pros. (who likely took over the business and renamed it). After a short dialogue and desperate to get hot water, we agreed to pay the $289 trip fee to Patriot Pros. knowing that it would later be applied to any work they would do. The representative informed us that our 17 year old Rinnai could not be repaired and needed replacement which seemed reasonable. Then, what followed seemed beyond reasonable. He quoted about $25,000 for a replacement Navien of equivalent size. We pondered and agonized over this unexpected expense and began to question the underlying premises. First, there was no itemization of all the cost elements and secondly, it would take two days to complete. We declined the offer pending two more additional contractor bids. The big red flag was the significant cost increase from the old Rinnai installation 17 years ago. The original total cost was $3618. Using an inflation calculator, for 2026, I figured an updated cost would be $5632. SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER than Patriot Pros. $25,000 quoted price. The two subsequent contractors both came in around the same price point of about $5000. Patriot Pros. made a big deal out of the fact most contractors may not be licensed and may not pull permits to cut costs. My winning contractor is licensed and insisted that a permit be pulled. The winning contractor also agreed to not only install a higher capacity Navien unit, but the following upgrades: -- Tankless expansion tank --Axiom NeutraPal Neutralizer kit, and a --Scale Prevention system All for $4968! BTW, the other bidding contractor was in the same ballpark; about $5000. I was incensed at this exploitation and enrolled in Yelp just so I could make this cautionary warning to others. Don't be taken in by their trusty "Patriotic" allure, especially to conservative/elderly audiences. BTW; they also quoted, in addition to the tankless water heater installation, a new air-conditioner and furnace for $54,000! Of course, no itemized details. Buyer beware.

Attached below is documentation that is straight from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies website. Courtesy Plumbing's license's in both Colorado Springs and Sedalia are expired and there is a cease and desist order. Plus, Frankie Vargas the GM stated to my wife and I that he is a Master Plumber, yet he is only a Plumbing Apprentice per DORA's website. Why all the lies? They are a shady, unreliable and unreputable company and if we can save any other person or family, this review was worth writing!

A period of time was given for arrival and I waited for them. They texted him to let him know they anticipated being there at noon. When they arrived, we briefly discussed what was to be done. Then I left them to it. They were careful not to leave the front door open as we have cats. And watched the door frame as they moved the equipment in and out. It took approximately two hours to complete the job. When he was done, Ryan came to get me and showed me the work. I had to write things down as I couldn't remember the different parts. The installation was done neatly and I appreciated that. Would call them again and they do equipment checks and services. Associates were friendly and professional. Ryan was funny too.
