But my biggest complaint is how the facility is managed. Before 10Federal took over there was an actual human manager with an office in the little shack out front who could answer questions and take payments if needed. Now the place is 100% "'managed" through an AI system. You can't reach a human. And the online portal is next to useless. I changed my debit card and called to update the information for automatic payments, but the AI CAN NOT DO THAT! Instead I got put on hold with the promise that I would soon be speaking with a flesh and blood human. I have now been on hold for three HOURS. I'm leaving my phone on hold until someone answers. We paid our bill almost two weeks ago. Due to them not taking the payment out with the new card that was provided. I live in Odessa and don't have time to come back. So instead of leaving today like planned I will be staying till Monday to try and get my items out of the unit. This is ridiculous. How am I supposed to empty my unit out and clean it if there is a lock on the unit? Not only that he sends a text that he is on vacation. So what am I supposed to do if there is a lock? I'm supposed to be out of it by the end of the month. Are they just going to take all my things in the unit?!?

Folks would leave their units and trash was starting to pile up. The new management does not care about the customer nor the appearance of the facility. There has been recent vandalism to the facility. We had direct deposit with them from day one, one day we were unable to gain access to the facility because they change the gate code monthly. I requested that we receive and e-mail/ letter stating what the new gate code was and that was denied but I was told that I could call every 1st of the month to find out the new gate code after our deposit was cleared! October 2012 we discovered that our climate controlled unit was no longer climate controlled and the lights in the building no longer worked. When we brought this to the managements attention they failed to insure the lights were working the building #3. December 2012 the lights were still inoperable and the trash continued to pile up and still no climate control I asked to speak to the manager, I was told that the girl behind the desk on the cell phone was the property manager and that I could address the problems with her. When I asked for the owners name and contact information she informed me that she was more that willing to pass anything that I had to say on to them. I then asked if there was an address that I could have for the owner so I could write a letter with my concerns. She again failed to give me the information. We then received a letter stating that our rent was going up..... We moved out as of January 2013.
