If I could rate it lower I definitely would......... My mother's washer broke and without knowing…read morehow horrible this company was she contacted them on June 3, 2017 for a repair. Unfortunately, she had to deal with delay after delay starting with the initial appointment on the washer. During that initial appointment the technician was scheduled to come earlier in the day but did not show up until after 8pm and did not leave until pass 9:30pm. The technician stated that he could not locate the problem and that Absolute Home Services would have to branch out to another company for assistance. That's when the nightmare truly began. Absolute Home Services took my mother's washer on June 7, 2017, which had a pedestal connected to the bottom of it, and delivered it to their outsourced company and couldn't give my mother any date or time when it would be returned. Once again, after numerous delays and text messages back and worth which spanned over 3 weeks, my mother's washer was finally delivered to her in working condition but with one difference, the pedestal that was originally attached to the washer was now gone. During those chaotic 3 weeks, she did ask them to remove the pedestal, my mother is disabled and she needed the washer to be lowered. Via text, they informed her that they had to cut the pedestal off. She assumed it meant you had to cut the bolt since they said it was "rusted on". However that was not the case and the result was much worse (see attached photos on what it should look like compared to how we received it). As you can see instead of "cutting" the pedestal off they, from what it looks like, took a blow torch to it, set it on fire, and bent it in half. Might I add, the only way my mother's pedestal was even delivered back to her was because I had to get involved. I contacted them from California in regards to this issue since my mother had been asking back and forth, again via text message, for the return of her pedestal (final payment for fixed washer was done on June 22, 2017 pedestal was not delivered till July 15, 2017) and was getting no where. I in turn had to fly from California to Georgia to handle this matter for her. I called the business office and they transferred me to the regional manager which then said that my mother wanted the cheapest and fastest way of getting her washer fixed and lowered so they just "cut" the pedestal off and that my mother had given consent to this. My mother never gave her consent and was never informed of any of this. He said that he would provide documents of text transactions between my mother and a Mr. Morgan as well as photos that showed the "rusting" of the pedestal. As previously stated, we finally did receive the pedestal on July 15, 2017, but what we actually received was a pedestal that had not been cut but that had been burnt off, the documents of the text transaction were only the ones from the technician that initially came to repair it and those texts where only up to June 23rd, not from Mr. Morgan or the regional manager or any documents from after June 23rd. Also there were no photos accompanying those items like the regional manager stated there would be. He even tried to intimate me with talks of reaching out to his lawyers. I would highly advise to stay clear of this company!!!! Only use them at your own peril!!!
