This review is based off of helping my sister when the door/lock mechanism of her car door broke…read morethis week. We put in a "request a quote" via Yelp, Capital Locksmith responded within a couple of hours, a locksmith came out the same day and made a diagnosis. She ended up needing a completely new mechanism because it jammed and he drove out to a Toyota dealership the same day to get the part and returned promptly in order to put it back together. I unfortunately can't remember the name of the gentleman that assisted us. He was quick, direct, and efficient. As anything that comes with the fear of getting something with your car fixed, we were terrified of being cheated on pricing. Once he provided a quote, we were able to quickly confirm with our local mechanic via phone call that it sounded legit. This gave us peace of mind knowing we made the right decision and got the job done. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing help with their car door!

Fantastic work at a reasonable cost…read more.. This is the second time I've used this Locksmith and both times I was extremely satisfied with both the work and the cost. The pictures I have posted are from his first visit about a year ago when Valet Parking jammed the key in my ignition. The second time was today after getting my truck locks punched in during an attempt to steal it. He worked on it a few hours and replaced the locks on both sides along with the ignition. I find this locksmith more convenient and works faster than a locksmith just a few blocks away from where I live. I hope I don't need future work on my locks. But if I do, I'll know who to call!

Other than for the purposes of getting keys duplicated or having locks similarly keyed, going to a…read morelocksmith can be quite dreadful, albeit necessary. That is because, as most of us know, going to a locksmith can be quite costly. It is that way, I believe, because locksmithing is a profession that requires specialized training, licensure, and insurance. This past week I had a need to have a duplicate "smart key" fob programmed to my recently purchased new, used vehicle that came with only one fob. Against my better judgment and with the hope of saving some money, I purchased a "ready to be programmed" fob off of a popular auction website. The fob itself was noticeably lighter than the OEM fob and was considerably cheaper; like $175 cheaper. Anyhoo, I took my Chinese-made, reverse-engineered fob to Advanced Locksmith to have it programmed. Before going, I called a received a quote from Gage one of the shop's technicians. Upon my arrival, Gage promptly went to work! While in the process of attempting the programming, and after the programming failed, Gage involved another technician, Nebiat. As the efforts to program my fob met with additional failed attempts, Nebiat and Gage explained one of the pitfalls with purchasing fobs over non-OEM websites is, that sometimes the fobs are locked from being previously programmed and therefore not usable. Much to my dismay, I believed my fob to be just such a fob. With that, Nebiat offered a new fob purchase from Advanced Locksmith. One that Nebiat assured me would accept the programming. Of course, purchasing this new fob would be expensive and I was not looking forward to having to pay so much money on such short notice. Nebiat was very understanding and was kind enough to offer the fob at a discount, for my being a veteran of the armed forces. I was prepared to purchase the new fob when Nebiat offered to try the programming of my Chinese-made fob once more. As he attempted the programming, he recognized the problem to be with my truck having already programmed into its memory, the maximum number of fobs. Nebiat was then able to clear the computer's memory of programmed fobs and successfully program my cheaper fob! Yaaay!!! I was elated and grateful for Nebiat's willingness to go the extra mile and put customer service over profit. Thank you Nebiat and thank you Nebiat and Gage for giving me a great customer experience to share on this platform with my fellow Yelp*ers!! Businesses and people like you are THE reason I enjoy writing reviews on Yelp*, because it is people and businesses like you who deserve to be visited by consumers who are seeking honest, fair, and professional goods and services! For folks reading this, looking for or in need of a locksmith, look no further than Advanced Locksmith! You will be happy with your decision, and thus... Live well. Be well. Cheers!
