They told me there was a 10% "shop fee" that had been put in place. This is for the customer to pay even tho the insurance pays the entire cost of the windshield replacement. They add on this fee which would have been $172 in this case. What a rip off! No other window replacement adds this on so be cautious!

After 10 days I went back to the store and was told that the glass was in the shop and it would be ready that afternoon. After five more days I went to the store and waited for them to check on the status. I was then told it would be ready in 5 minutes. After twenty minutes they had the window finished. Charleston Window and Glass was our choice based on price, delivery timing and a personal meeting with the owner, Todd, in his office. Todd offered an upgrade to a higher quality (less greenish hue) glass, which no other prospective installer mentioned. It is more expensive, of course, but we're happy we did it. Our shower tile is bright white and the clear, colorless glass enhances the look. As in any construction and installation project there were a few issues with which we were not satisfied. Todd is communicative, visited us personally to review the installation, kept us informed and worked to make sure the issues were corrected to our complete satisfaction. We'll add that his technician, Ricardo, is a young man who is proud of his skills and very committed to customer satisfaction. We highly recommend this company!

The company caused $2133 in HVAC damages that three representatives refused to cover…read more Representatives claimed the damages were not their responsibility because of their contract. The exact verbiage from the contract is, "The Contractor is not liable for damage to hidden water, electrical, gas, and/or HVAC lines." However, in the photo sent of the damage, the HVAC line is clearly visible. When we pointed out that the line was clearly visible, they claimed they were still not responsible and would cover just $250 of the $2133, but only if we removed the 1-star Google review we had just left. After several attempts to get in touch with the contact on the contract and the business owner, we got no response.

I called them and they do not repair it under warranty. This is a job badly done and they declined to fixit 3 times. Shame on them. Don't have them to replace your roof. They do not do a good job and they do not stand behind it. You are left hanging dry.
