I highly recommend Charleston Roofs & Windows!  Very professional and great service. They just completed placing a new roof for me and I am very impressed with how smoothly the whole process was.  Starting with prompt return of my initial call, Michael Kelley worked with me helping me to understand what was needed, patiently answering questions and helping me choose the right type of roofing for my house.  He always answered  my phone calls, which I appreciated and valued such good customer service. The install was scheduled, and the crew showed up at 6:30am that day. They draped and covered vulnerable areas and worked all day removing the old shingles and placing the new roof.  Overseeing the progress at the jobsite was Adam Cobb.  He came to me a couple of times to update me on how things were going and see if I  had any questions. When the job was completed the next day, he let me know they were done.  That is when I saw that my yard, porch, decks, flower beds and driveway were left in even better shape than they started with. So, there you have it.  If you want to wonder about the quality and service you will get-keep looking.  But if you want to get the best up front, go with CR&W. read more

The company caused $2133 in HVAC damages that three representatives refused to cover. Representatives claimed the damages were not their responsibility because of their contract. The exact verbiage from the contract is, "The Contractor is not liable for damage to hidden water, electrical, gas, and/or HVAC lines." However, in the photo sent of the damage, the HVAC line is clearly visible. When we pointed out that the line was clearly visible, they claimed they were still not responsible and would cover just $250 of the $2133, but only if we removed the 1-star Google review we had just left. After several attempts to get in touch with the contact on the contract and the business owner, we got no response. read more

I had Charleston Roof + windows replace my roof last year. There was a corner I showed to them that I was not happy about. There was no problem for them. Now their no problem is falling. I called them and they do not repair it under warranty. This is a job badly done and they declined to fixit 3 times. Shame on them. Don't have them to replace your roof. They do not do a good job and they do not stand behind it. You are left hanging dry. read more

We called 3 roofing companies to come out and take a look at a leak in our roof in our new house. Charleston roofs + windows was the only one that came at the scheduled time. Garrett came and was very friendly and professional. Super nice guy. Fortunately for me he pointed out that my roof is fairly new and should still be under warranty. He did take the time, however, and went in our attic and on the roof and told me exactly what was causing the leak and he gave us a fair estimate in case we couldn't track down the roofing company from the previous owner of the house. I highly recommend this company and if I ever have a problem that is not covered under my current warranty I will be sure to call Garrett! read more

I would highly recommend Charleston Roofs + Windows. I had called and spoke with Eric and he came out and told my everything that he saw and was extremely helpful with helping me with the insurance company as well. He explained every detail to me and was great. Because of the professionalism that I had experienced with him I chose to have them do my roof. They just replaced it on 6/8 and could not be more pleased with the professionalism and timeliness of their work. They were very considerate to the belonging around them . They cleaned up nicely. They even took the tarp that was covering my pool off and folded it up for me, So if you are needing to have your roof repaired or redone. I highly recommend them. Thank you. Trudy F. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Charleston Roofs + Windows! I called and spoke with Lauren and had Garrett come by very quickly to do an estimate right after Irma came through. After his inspection of the roof, he brought me up to explain everything in detail. After contacting my insurance and filing a claim, he came back and we were able to schedule the job quickly. The crew did a fantastic job! They removed the old roofing, installed the new roof and did a superb clean up all in just one day...and we have a rather large roof area. We got a few quotes and these guys were competitive and were quick to get a hold of. Their customer service department is also excellent! I would HIGHLY recommend them if you are in need of a new roof. read more

Alec Waring with Charleston Roofs and Windows showed up right on time to inspect a leak we had very recently discovered in our master bedroom. He was very polite and knowledgeable about the findings on what he believed was the source of the leak: a nail pop. He performed a temporary fix after inspecting the roof, and then the attic. Alec encouraged us to check back with him after a few more rainstorms to verify that the leak has stopped growing. He charged us nothing for the temporary repair. He refused any payment as a thank you for his time. This is a super business, and I highly recommend this roofing company; thank you to Katie Mootz, sales lead coordinator, for setting up our appointment with Alec so quickly. We plan to have Charleston Roofs and Windows come back and put some new shingles on the area where Alec located the nail pop. He is a very impressive young professional. read more

I had a couple of leaks, one in my garage and one in my kitchen. I had called several companies for estimates. The first company came to my house and without stepping one foot on my roof, told me I needed a whole roof repair in the amount of 6,500.00 dollars. Michael from Charleston Roof came out. He walk my roof and took pictures of the areas that needed attention. He told me my roof was still in good shape for its age. My problem was with my ridge vent and how it was initially installed. They were out within a week to replace my ridge vent and repaired a couple of other items. The work was done very professionally, and the work area was cleaned up after they were finished. I would recommend Charleston Roofing for being a honest, fast and efficient. read more

The service I received from Michael Kelly and this company was top notch from start to finish. Michael was so prompt, and kept such good communication throughout the entire process that I was actually skeptical at first, thinking I was getting scammed because businesses never seem to operate this well. I had originally contacted Charleston Roofs & Windows to get a quote for a ridge vent install, but upon inspection from Michael he found I had hail damage all over my roof. He was the ONLY contractor to actually get up on my roof to provide a quote for the ridge vent. At this point he recommended replacement of the entire roof as it made most sense. They will walk you through the entire insurance claim process, but ask you to sign into a contract with them for their time to do so. This is where I got concerned, having to sign my name on the dotted line, and lock in my service with them. Michale made sure to point out the maximum out of pocket expense I could pay, and provided line item detail of everything I would receive. Install was scheduled four weeks later, but delayed due to rain. However, the CR&W team made sure to get it done even though they had to work over the weekend. I highly recommend taking your business to this company. It has been a pleasure read more

I met Garrett from Charleston Roof + Windows last week when he came to the house to check out my roof. He is a super nice guy, showed up on time and he solved my problem for me. He will be the first one I call in the future when I have a roofing problem and when I need a new roof. read more

Charleston Roofs and Windows stood out as the best choice for our full roof replacement and we had a very positive experience with them. Garrett was easy to get in touch with, responsive to our call, and knowledgeable about roofing and roofing products. Lauren made scheduling the work fast and efficient. We replaced a 28 year old metal roof with architectural shingles. We cannot say enough good things about the roofing team. They removed each metal panel and lowered it to the ground, avoiding any damage to our dense landscaping. Because of electrical wires around our home, the 26 squares of shingles, weighing about 70 pounds each, as well as all roofing materials had to be hand carried up ladders to the roof of our elevated home. The team worked like a well oiled machine and seemed to genuinely enjoy their work. They did a great job cleaning up and the job was finished in one day - one day! We had read previous Yelp reviews which had a positive influence on our difficult decision of which roofing contractor to select. We certainly concur with all of the 5 star ratings. read more
