Miller Cooling & Heating is a family owned business that truly operates with honesty and integrity…read more They've serviced my previous salon location and my home several times, and recently came to the rescue at my new salon. My new landlord had their HVAC company installed a new unit in December. When the City of San Antonio required my salon to have an exhaust fan installed, we thought using them too was smart, since our mechanical inspection still had not passed. But needless to say, we continued to struggle with excessive humidity in the salon. Despite several return visits from the original company, the issue remained unresolved. Miller Cooling sent a three person crew to thoroughly inspect everything, run tests, and get to the root of the problem. They even changed my air filters! They explained that the exhaust fan had not been properly installed, walked me through two options to correct the issue, and are preparing an estimate. They didn't even charge a service fee for the visit. I truly appreciate their thoroughness, clear communication, and honest approach. As a business owner myself, having a company I can trust means so much. If you need an HVAC company you can count on, I highly recommend Miller Cooling & Heating!

We bought our home in February of 2020. Our AC unit went out in July of 2022, 29 months later…read more Miller Cooling and Heating came out and recommended a full condenser unit replacement. The price was a little above market average, but they were willing to workout an in house financing option for us, so we were pleased.... at first. In August 2023, the same brand new unit lost a compressor only 13 months after a complete installation and replacement. The reason it went out was due to a leak in freon inside the walls right next to the condenser unit. They honored our warranty and only charged us for a service call and gave prompt and timely service... but then charged me over $2000 to replace the copper piping they say wasn't their fault... they claim it was "vibration" that damaged the pipe and they weren't responsible for the small crack in the pipe in the crease of the bend.... However, 29 months that same pipe held up just fine in my old AC unit. Once they replaced the condenser and attached to it, it barely lasted a year. The Crack is very very small... It seems logical to me that it would take 13 months to lose between 12-15 pounds of freon from that small of a crack, which indicates to me that Miller Cooling and Heating cracked that pipe while replacing the condenser and didn't want to pay for it. Shaun was very rude on the phone and refused to work with me at all, most of the charge coming from labor.... I have spoken with several AC specialists since then, offering up my paperwork stating charges and services and they all believe that Miller Cooling and Heating is to blame. I am an avid supporter of small business, but i have yet to pay the 2000 they want to charge me. If Shaun were willing to work with me I wouldn't be on here right now... but I can assure you that if you are seeking an honest company, this isn't the one you are seeking. Go somewhere else and save yourself potential money... because if they make a mistake, they certainly won't own up for it. In fact, they will find a way for you to pay for the service to save themselves money. Avoid at all cost.

Nathan scheduled an appointment, sent Dennis, Asaf, and one other young man. After checking my roof, I was told that they could not clean the duct through the roof vent as the existing vent was not a proper dryer vent. They left and contacted Nathan to discuss with me. Nathan confirmed that the existing roof vent was more for an attic gable fan and would need to be replaced. He would order the part and call me to reschedule. The appointment was set for today between 8am-10am, the same crew called to let me know they were on the way. Upon arrival, they removed the old vent, cleaned out duct, installed new and correct roof vent (after some adjustment cuts), tested for proper function. I even did a load of towels and drying them took half as long as before. All is good. Kudos to Nathan and his staff for their promptness, professionalism, and quality work. I will definitely use them in the future and possibly their carpet cleaning services. Thanks again Tony Baltazar Canyon Lake

Two men came to do the repair; one was the primary and the other was A novice. Originally the primary wanted over $600 to fix the one in MBdrm and the hall bathroom.
