Of course I had to buy a million adorable outfits for him. Inside Out carries a huge stock of the most precious onsies, lounge pants, shirts, and other clothes for babies and toddler. They had beach and outdoorsy themes that were perfect for what I was looking for. They also carry women's and men's clothes, jewelry, knick knacks, candles and other gifts. It's a great one stop shop for gift buying with super friendly staff. They offered to take my items to the register while I finished shopping. One of my favorite boutiques in town.

Still an aesthetically pleasing place to browse, and they have a select quantity of beautiful clothing, shoes, and accessories. So many lovely, quality items! This year I bought two ample-sized shawl/wrap/scarves (Daisy big wrap) for when it eventually gets cold (it was in the 80s the day I bought them, but I know winter is a-comin'). They are incredibly soft, and come in the most gorgeous colors (I bought one in a deep plum color, and another in a rich teal. I hate winter, but I will be prepared to keep warm in style. The wraps were just $24, and I already know I'll be getting many compliments when I wear these. I also bought a light, airy poncho that can be worn several ways. I bought one here last year--in indigo--and I wear it over solid-colored basics. I never fail to get compliments on it (and it adds just the right amount of light warmth and coverage, as well as a pop of color--sorry, I normally stay away from using overplayed terms like that, but it fits). It's the Van Klee poncho, just $22, and I got one in fuschia. I fell in lust with some of their fabulous jewelry but had to get back to my laundry. I think I'll be back before heading home on the weekend. As noted in my previous review, the ladies working in the shop were friendly and helpful, but not right on top of me as I shopped (thank you, thank you). This is my favorite shop in York.

While I was in the dressing room trying on clothes, I was talking softly to my baby to comfort her. The employee stood right outside the dressing room and was giggling at what I was saying, which made it very clear she was listening and hovering nearby. Instead of feeling like a customer, I felt like I was being monitored, as if there was concern I might steal something. And then as I came out of the fitting room and let her know I didn't find anything and thanked her, she went straight into the room, I have no doubt to make sure I didn't steal anything. As a mom just trying to shop with her baby, this felt really discouraging and unwelcoming. I left feeling uncomfortable and out of place. I hope the boutique can work on creating a more inclusive and respectful environment for all customers.

I walked into the store when the regional manager was in Garden City and she laughed. I was wearing an Orvis Sports Coat, shirt and pants! Last year, while vacationing in Maine, I stumbled across the Orvis *outlet* store? Be still my beating heart Racks and racks of Orvis clothing on a discount. It's like finding buried treasure! Lets not get it twisted, Orvis is brand for the outdoors. They are meticulous to design with features like a small zipped pocket to hold a fishing license. Their style aligns with my lifestyle, high end outdoor clothing. I have an Orvis Fisherman's sweater, 100 percent wool that I could wear to brunch. Are you feeling me Yelper? Now envision a store that has these items 1/2 off. I feel like a just pulled a heist. Haha My only issue? They dont make petites for my wife! Here, at KTP, that is exactly what happens. You think you have a particular item in mind? How about being thrown more options that most other stores even dream of carrying? Thought you liked something online? How about holding that item in person and deciding if it is the right fit for just a fraction more of the price (and avoid the need to make returns for the most part?) They usually have events every weekend as well to drive visitors to their store so it's pretty busy all thr time. If you're one of those people that likes to explore recreational clothing, shoes, and equipment in person, this is the place to go.
