Great place in Mountain Home. It is in a house-like building, it was missed while driving by because the sign was gone due to weather. Thestaff was very friendly. Started getting busy around ten. First time at this restaurant. I ordered a club sandwich and fries which were both amazing. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict. They were out of Canadian bacon so they offered him ham. His was not that great but we will be back for more lunch items. Service was great and the place is cute! read more

I chose this place for breakfast because of the rave reviews, and the had eggs Benedict. When we entered the restaurant around 8:30, it was completely empty. But the sign said OPEN, and we were greeted by a very sweet waitress, who told us to sit wherever we wished. It's a very cute little place. I loved the wall paper, fireplace, and general ambiance. My husband ordered pancakes, bacon n eggs. I ordered the eggs Benedict. The cook/ owner came out and greeted us. We were off to a good start. And then the food came.... My husband asked if I wanted a bite of his pancake. Unfortunately, I took a bite. It was raw! Not just in the middle, but even on the edges. My husband doesn't waste food, so he choked it down. The bacon n eggs were fine. My eggs Benedict were also undercooked. The white was also runny. I boxed most of it for my little dog. Also, the hollandaise tasted heavy of lemon. I'm sad to say our food was not good. I hope this was just an off day, for I'd love to see this little place do well. There are many great reviews. I'm sorry I couldn't add to them. read more

Stopped in today to 9th Street Grill for breakfast. Ordered the Eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon. Waitress said no Canadian bacon, I would get a small piece of ham instead, I said fine but bring a small bit of extra hollandaise sauce, she did, but charged me extra $2. The sauce was was cool, the muffin soggy but ok. She then suggested a pistachio cream cake which sounded great. Received a small green piece of cake with basic hard icing & a squirt of whipped cream apx.3" long around the edge. I asked her where the pistachios were?? She said its green cake, I explained pistachios were nuts & there were none in my cake, she just laughed. I wont be back read more

Seems to be busy. They have a great menu and this mornings special was a pancake sandwich. Guy next to us got it. You better be hungry or prepared to take it home. $7.95 I believe. Unfortunately I cannot have much that's on their menu, but the wifey dives in and says how good it is. Service is pretty good for a small place. Visiting my sister and popped in for breakfast. Servers were lovely, quick and efficient! We ordered a wide variety of breakfast items and everything was delicious. Not worth the money. I LOVE a good diner with a "blue plate special" and I thought 9th Street Grill would be the place, but I was disappointed. I guess this place has been around for years, but when I first showed up it was nearly empty at 12:30 p.m. For starters, the circle parking lot is set up backwards. The cars park at a slant, but if you pull in the entrance, the cars are parked the opposite way. The menu has a nice variety to it, lots of breakfast options, but lunch pickings are a little slimmer. I ordered the meatloaf special, which was disappointing. The meatloaf with bacon is usually a nice bonus, but the meatloaf had a barbecue flavor, and a ketchup glaze. That would have been fine, but the three slices I got were then drowned in brown gravy. The meat was so over seasoned with salt and other seasonings I couldn't identify, it was tough to finish. And I LOVE salt. The meal came with a baked potato -- mashed wasn't even an option -- and corn. Tiny potato, not a lot of corn, no roll, no bread. I got a cup of the ham and pinto bean soup, which was chocked full of ham and was delicious, but It was served in a tea cup and paid almost $4 for it. For six tablespoons of soup? No way. I might go back, but I'm not going to rush. It just wasn't worth the money, not a value, not filling and the seasoning was off putting. read more

This dinner has a great Chef, my husband will have the eggs benedict 95% of the time we only go their once a week the prices are great and the staff are friendly, the only thing I would say as a negative for the dinner is the staff will not interduce them selfs, when the busboy come and ask you what you would like to drink he does not say the names of the waitress that will take your order. We've been there about 8 times now and I think one of them is named Sandy. We use to go to Mel's but my husband could not find the Canada Bacon lol read more

My husband and I eat breakfast at 9th. Street Grill at least once a week. It is always very clean and inviting. The waitresses are so kind and personable. Chef Bill works hard to get the best food prepared at the fair price to your table. We highly recommend the pancakes. They are made from scratch and they are divine! The side of ham is remarkable, not to mention a big serving. Of course you can get bacon or sausage if you prefer. It is an awesome place for breakfast or lunch. read more

We've only ever had a few things we'd complain about (hash browns and sausage links undercooked) but overall the food is great and the ladies and gentleman who work there are wonderful! I don't like to be negative but our food was awful. This is a small house that has been converted into a restaurant. It has had a few different owners. My wife had cool soup with raw rice..not al dente. I had an open face roast beef sandwich that was 80 per cent fat and gristle. I think it was bigger after I gave up on it. Not going back.
