The inside is pretty cool too: very eclectic and unique, with a lot of stuff hanging from the walls and Polynesian influence all around. Even the light fixtures are really unique and pretty. The one letdown was the bathroom: just plain white walls. So disappointing! Most tiki lounges I've been to go all out in the bathroom, so I was a little let down. Hopefully they change that someday. I got my original, the Zombie, my normal go-to tiki drink. It's pretty strong, an 8.9/10 for strength, and a little more bitter than other Zombies I've had. It comes in a super cute glass that looks almost like the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and honestly, I really wanted one just for the glass. It also comes with a whole interactive experience: the staff yelled "Oh my god, there's a zombie! Kill the zombie! Stab the zombie!" and I had to stab the flaming lime sitting on top of my drink. Everyone was screaming, and it was really fun. They did it every time somebody ordered one, and I thought it was hilarious. The menu is really eclectic with a lot going on: full meals, ahi tuna, salads, bowls, sushi rolls, appetizers, and sliders. We ordered the Spam musubi, my favorite. I don't know what seasoning they use, but the Spam was super tasty. I do wish the slice was bigger to even out the rice-to-Spam ratio, since there was a lot of rice. 8.9/10. We also got the salad with ahi tuna, which was really good. The ahi was a little more well done than I would've wanted, but still very tasty. They were out of the miso ginger dressing, but the vinaigrette was actually my first choice anyway, and it was really good. I just wish they'd put a little more on, since it would've added a lot of extra flavor. The size was a little disappointing, though. Service was really good. Luckily, we were seated pretty fast, and our server was really friendly and nice, checked up on us, and was a super cool guy. My only thing is the pricing on something like the salad. It was a very simple salad, just greens, tomatoes, onions, and mango, and $18 seemed like a lot for that. With the added ahi it came to about $30, which felt a little steep. Overall, 7.8/10. It wasn't a bad tiki lounge, but it also wasn't my favorite out of all the ones I've been to. Still a fun spot with a great vibe, a strong drink, and an interactive experience to go with it, and I'd like to go back and try more of the menu.

We love the decor and the menu has refined to some tasty top hits. One of my favorite shareable is the Spam Musubi along with the potstickers. I haven't had a bad drink yet at Ventiki but my go-to is Cobra's Fang. I'm not a light weight but the drinks here tend to be on the stronger side. Usually two cocktails get's me just lubed up enough to enjoy a show at the Majestic. Strongly recommend Ventiki to any tiki heads out there. Good food and great drinks!

It can get a little wild, especially when there are big parties. They had a summer drinks special menu and we got the TBD and the Pure Imagination, I preferred the pure imagination. But our absolute favorite drink was the Nutty Chi Chi, a vodka blend on a classic Piña Colada! They don't serve food themselves but there is a taco stand out back after ~6pm that takes cash + card (card fee!) and will drop off food to your table. We had reservations for a Sunday night and were seated at the best table in the house. This speakeasy cocktail lounge is small & dimly lit, which creates a cozy & intimate atmosphere. The Polynesian inspired décor is on point. Bamboo beaded curtains, thatched lamps, tropical prints, & an eight-foot tiki statue add to the charm. Our server Sean was fantastic with a capital F! He entertained us the entire evening. Of course, Tiki cocktails served in kitschy glassware are the main attraction but they also offer Island inspired dishes if you are hungry. (You can also order food from Tail O' The Pup downstairs.) The building was once the recording studio for The Doors, so we had to order The Ghost of Jim Morrison. Sean delivered the flaming drink while singing a Doors tune. Elvis in Hawaii arrived on a platter with an Elvis head on it. Lucky Tiki Old Fashioned was presented in a treasure chest with smoke coming out of it. The Flying Fish came in a cool Blowfish vessel. The Lucky Mai Tai was one of the best, the Classic Daiquiri was nicely balanced, and the Rum Barrel packed a punch. All the drinks were tasty and strong so we ordered a few nibbles: Coconut Shrimp, Lucky Orange Chicken, & Wok-Fried Chow Mein. The food was yummy and hit the spot.
