I had trained on You Tube videos and I had tried for a month to fix it myself - almost an impossible task on this thin body guitar. I really wasn't sure of the cost of fixing it. The owner - salesman - guitar tech was there - repairing Guitars is his Super Power! He fixed it handed it back " no charge " I almost passed out I had spent an inordinate amount of time trying to repair that guitar and he hands it back like it was nothing. Man thank God for this guy! I shopped for bout 15 minutes- new strings some cables, a product for refreshing my fingerboard - D'Addario Hydrate - and some Dunlop 65 guitar polish/ cleaner ( amazing stuff) and plucked on a six string banjo tuned like a guitar - never seen one - funfun! I could make those sounds on Neil Young's Song Old Man - very cool! Well Local shops are the best! You Tube and Amazon was absolutely no help with my Washburn. Thanks Andrew's your the best!

This place has records, CD's, music, and many cute stationary stuff! The service is decent because they were attentive to what I needed and met my standards to what good service is (thank you and have a nice day etc.) I ended up buying a really cute pencil in addition to my music.

Meaning I didn't have to worry about switching teachers due to them returning to school or taking on fulltime employment elsewhere. I would come to regret this!!! Kingwood music school is a two story building with multiple teachers. Sometimes it has an odd smell, like spoiled milk or something. The women in the front desk are friendly and helpful. They provided good information and are responsive to questions. The teacher and student population are diverse in age and race. My biggest drawback was the teacher. As I mentioned I took violin here after taking lessons 8 months elsewhere. Prior to starting at Kingwood music school, I enjoyed learning and the challenge of the violin. However, I decided to leave after feeling more frustration and annoyed with the teacher. She is so meticulous and tedious about everything , we spent months going over the same thing. She could not remember where we left off the previous week and just felt disconnected. She never asked why I wanted to learn, whether I played before or my goals. My goal was for self enjoyment, not the symphony orchestra, so the snap behavior was not necessary. I began to regret going to lessons with her. When I terminated sessions they (front desk or teacher) never asked why. Which tells me either they don't care or it's normal to them. Either way stay clear of interested in violin!!!

I frequent Don Ramon's next door and decided to bite the bullet and call. I'm 27 so a little self conscious about never having a music lesson. The lessons are catered to what you as the student wants to do and learn. It's also nice it's a collaborative effort between me and Keeton. He can play multiple instruments, and is a very outgoing, likable person. He also has interesting tid bits about music (theory) which I didn't know I was even doing. He makes it easy to put yourself out there trying to make music (which is obviously very personal and intimidating). I highly recommend and can't be more happy with this experience.
