As with all boots there is the reward card system where you can collect points on whatever you buy. The shop does get quite busy. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. Get out of all the traffic snarl ups, in fact, they might decrease! and see Poole without stress! There aren't many hills in Poole, really it's one big long hill, with a few dips, and a slights increase in gradient in one place.well big a increase really. To get to the beaches though, there's really only Evening Hill, and if my daughter can slog it, I reckon any healthy person can! Ooh, imagine cyclying from Sandbanks to Bournemouth Pier or further, stopping off to have a drink or a swim. Imagine cycling along the Quay and Baiter, and going on to Sandbanks! Along Holes Bay and to Wareham! A place steeped in history. or further to Corfe Castle.or take the Sandbanks ferry to Studland and cycle back to Poole the scenic, opposite way! Ooh, this is really exciting! You can see so much more and stop where you want without needing to park! And no nasty emmissions either. Summer would be revolutionised in Poole! Some say the traffic here is as bad as London.we do get some tail backs! It really is bad at peak times. All the bikes have alloy frames and wheels, 18 or 21 gears (oh you don't need that many!), front suspension and disc or vee brakes. 01202 855383 / 07796 322292 Have fun!!

I would give a higher review, but the lady at the till is a bit scary…read more I tend to be one of the younger clients of this establishment, with most of the ladies (rarely see a gent) being of the elderly sort. I am no spring chicken, mind you, but I'm a young whipper snapper compared to some of the clientele. The supplies are good, though the selection of crochet accessories is rather woeful, with the vast majority catering towards the home knitter. And there are usually some yarns which are on sale. Having come from North America I am used to yarn being much cheaper - with lines such as Red Heart, Lion & Bernat. I am aware that these yarns are not readily available in the UK, but I suspect that there is still this mentality that knitting/crochet should be only with expensive yarns. I would like this shop, and others, to carry some cheaper acrylic yarns - not everything needs to be made of alpaca wool handpicked by Mayan Indians in the wilds of Ecuador, sometimes cheap acrylic and/or questionable cheap welsh wool is just as good.

Lots of dressy ones and they kind I like; to wear under or over jeans with a buckle or two. My daughters feet are now wide enough for Clarks. Kids shoes are upstairs - a bit ofa zoo. But the staff are quite patient and my daughter gets to ponder over two pairs that fit her. Quite expensive, but not the most expensive.

Bill Temple the owner obviously values profit margins over customer service and issue resolution. The measure of any business is how they react to a customer issue and the reaction to an issue. The reaction thus far has been 5 emails unanswered, not even the basic courtesy of an acknowledgement, 2 phone calls, 1 with agreed actions for resolution , 1 follow up call unanswered.
