I went to 92chicken for the first time and I just love the food and the service. The guy working at the counter is just so sweet and knowledgeable. He walked me through the menu and even gave recommendations. The food was just so bomb and I look forward to coming back again. Chicken was crispy and the snow onions remind me a bit of coleslaw. French fries were fresh and delicious. So.....the chicken. Looks great. Sauce is GREAT (I had honey garlic). I was craving bulgogi today and this place hit the spot! The honey fries were also perfectly textured and the lightly sweet flavor was perfect. We were able to get complimentary beef dumplings for checking in with the clover app, and they were delicious, as well. To preface my review - my chicken was ordered to-go and I took it home 2 hours south to Port St. Lucie, so by the time I got to dig in, it was no longer as fresh as if it were eaten there or delivered locally. My order was: Honey Garlic Chicken - sauce flavor was awesome. To me this is the "standard" non-spicy KFC flavor. It was delicious. Creamy Onion Chicken - Not at ALL what I expected! I thought the sauce would be thick and mayo-y or sweet, it wasn't thick and it had a vinegary taste to it almost. It was mind-blowingly delicious to us with the crunchy raw onion on top. Our favorite of the night. Cheese Powder Chicken - At first we were underwhelmed by the sight of it, but once we bit in, you /really/ do taste that cheese powder. To be honest it was very reminiscent of Kraft Mac n Cheese powder, but I personally loved it for that. At home I dipped it in ranch (sacrilege or not) and it was delicious. I wish I'd gotten to try it all fresh and crunchy, but It was pretty impressive that even cold me and my husband were singing it's praises. Definitely going to be a must-stop for us anytime we hit up Orlando and want Korean Fried Chicken. Right before we left we were also offered a sample of a special kind of Mu they were making - radish in what I think was a beet vinegar. It was STELLAR. I would buy a jar of it. I was prepared for heat but it wasn't spicy at all. I will definitely ask if there is an option to increase the spice level next time since I like to eat until it hurts. Typically I get tired after two pieces because the sauce can get boring and salty but I didn't feel that way with these wings! The service is friendly and dining area is clean. The gentleman was also super kind and offered us a sample of the sweet onion which is used as a topping for the chicken. It is a refreshing onion slaw that balances very well with the fried chicken! The chicken was moist and crispy and the sauce was flavorful. The green onions added a nice touch of freshness and flavor that I appreciated. What we didn't like were the sweet onion wings. The sauce is mayo/onion based and it was on the thinner side. We didn't think it complimented the chicken very well. I would have also preferred the pickled radish to be more pickled. Tried for the first time today and we love it! We got the snow onion boneless chicken, swicy garlic wings, and a side of truffle fries. My suggestion is to get boneless if you order the snow onion as it's very messy! Both chickens were delicious, however the swicy garlic leaned much more on the sweet side rather than spicy. Truffle fries were great as well, not too overbearing with the truffle. Next time we will try the hot snow onion, very excited to return! read more
