This was, hands down, the worst manicure experience I've ever had. It was my birthday, and I left crying, with two bleeding cuts and blood visible on FIVE total fingers. It honestly left me questioning if I'll ever get a manicure again. From the very beginning, the manicurist was moving quickly like he was rushed, even though there were more employees than customers. He was so aggressive with the cuticle clippers and file that he cut my finger right away. It was bleeding pretty well, but I didn't say a word. Accidents happen. When he clipped me a third time, though, I yanked my hand back. He asked if it hurt, and I said yes. He STILL did not slow down or change his technique. Moments after that, I felt a sting AGAIN, and I started crying. A manager came running over and tried to help clean up the blood. To his credit, the manager apologized repeatedly and didn't charge me. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've left 90's Nail & Spa bleeding. My fingers still sting a day later, and it's upsetting that the manicurist did not adjust at all, even after I told him it was painful. read more

Best, longest lasting mani ever! I had my first mani here and this will be the only place I come from now on. I do a SNS powered nail manicure. The place I went to before, my nails would always start lifting after 3 weeks. I am 3 weeks on and no problems from my 90s Nails manicure. I thought that was just what powered nails did after so long. I wish I could remember the ladies name but I definitely recommend. This is definitely on my top 5 list of my worst nail salon experiences. They got to my daughter(6y/o) and I quickly, began working on our nails immediately, all was well with that portion...then came time for my nails to be done and the lady that did my nails buffed my cuticle too far down AS SOON as she started. It was the first contact the buffer drill or whatever it's called made contact with any of my fingers and I had to go thru the whole process with a burning ring finger nail. It hurt like hell. The rest of the process went smoothly, yet she said two words to me the whole time, and I thought she did a wonderful job until I saw my nails in natural lighting..then I noticed the drill patterns weren't buffed out pretty much AT ALL on the sides and tops of my nails. When it came to my daughter's experience, the older lady that did her nails was so offstandish with her, never even said hi or anything to her, and she was ridiculously rough with her hands. When it was time for her hot towel wrap over both hands, the lady never asked her if it was too hot or not before she wrapped her hands in them and my daughter flinched away because it WAS too hot for her..Not to mention she did a really crappy paint job on her nails. When the lady went to bring my daughter to the nail drying station, she literally grabbed my daughters arm like she was trying to drag her outta that chair the whole way down the isle. I raised my voice at her saying "easy, easy!!" I was just....mind blown at how cold and unwelcome it was in that environment. Did not pass the vibe check AT ALL. Do not recommend. read more

I came here for a pedicure for an upcoming trip to Florida. Loved the attention to detail the staff gave. Also had an eyebrow waxing. I'm a girl that embraces thick/full eyebrows. It can be nerve racking having someone new touch your brows. The attendant gave me exactly what I was looking for. I've had some experiences that left me crying in the car. Not here! I was in the neighborhood for business, and really needed a pedicure. I popped in early afternoon on the off-chance they had availability, and (bless them) was in the pedicure chair, feet soaking away within 15 minutes. My technician had the perfect blend of friendliness and knowing when to stop talking, and my nails and feet look absolutely fantastic, nearly 4 weeks later. Scheduled an appointment for pedicures with my coworker during our lunch hour. It's Good Friday so it was pretty busy when we arrived right at 1:00. We signed in a picked out our colors. Nobody spoke to us. After a few minutes we were finally acknowledged, and a few minute after that we were told to sit in two of the pedicure chairs. They didn't start the water or anything. We're just chillin until around 1:20 (we only have an hour break) and another customer comes in. She is promptly whisked into a pedicure chair and a woman is already starting on her toes before someone finally comes over to my colleague. My tech came a coupe minutes later, but we were pretty bothered by the fact that someone came in AFTER us was serviced before us. We're paying customers too, not cool. My tech did a good job and my pedi looks good but I'm still bothered. I am not sure if i will be back. Yes it's convenient to work, but it may be worth it to travel to my other nail spot in Dillonvale. read more

Came in as a walk in for a full set. The wait was so fast I didn't even have time to pick out a color. Very nice atmosphere, all the customers seemed relaxed and happy. Unfortunately I didn't catch my nail tech's name but she was very sweet and so delicate and precise through the whole process. You could tell she was proud of her work. I was still under the dryer at 8, when they close, but they were all still so polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend any services they offer to anyone. There were a lot of different services going on and you could really tell all of the employees knew what they were doing and the results of the other customers I saw reflected that. read more

I went in on 6/12 around 5:15 for a mani/pedi. I was told it would take an hour and they were accurate. My massage was fast (probably faster than likely their usual to keep in with the one hour time frame I was expecting), but overall relaxing. I think my tech may have gone a little overboard on trimming up the skin around my nails as my toes are still a tad sensitive. However, my experience was overall enjoyable and my toes and fingers look fabulous and ready for vaca. I'll be sure to come back in the future! read more

i went to this nail salon for almost 6 years. the prices were reasonable, but every year the prices kept goin up and up, there's a guy that works there by the name of tony, he is the worst person to do nails he's just likes to rush like his gonna loose his flight, and hit the cuticles constantly. very bad tech.. but as the prices kept going up, because they said there products is getting expensive?? wrong im sure they get there products from temu that are really cheap. i stared looking at videos on how to do nails, and is the best ans smartest thing i've ever done.. i would off save a lot of money if i would off done it early. to all you lady's out there stop throwing your money away, and making this people rich. you can learn how to do your own nails like i did, and all the products you need you can get for real real cheap on temu and ebay and very good quality, if i can do it so can you. this nail places are nothing but a reap off. stay away from all of them and learn how to do them your self. watch the video they have all kinds. read more

Dawson is the best! I went in for a fill and he really took his time to make sure everything was perfect. I had a couple nails lifting and he was able to fix them, along with trimming off small portions lifting on my other nails. He compared each nail on both hands to make sure the shape was the same. He even did three coats of gel polish because he wasn't happy with how the standard two coats looked with the pink-nude color I chose. She replies "I can't do that." Waste of an hour and had to peel the nail off my finger so I do t look ridiculous. Didn't even offer to remove it. *sigh* where do I even start?! First and foremost, I've been a loyal customer of 90's Nails for the past four years. Unfortunately, at the start of this year, the service has declined tremendously. I typically schedule with Dawson (manager), but lately it's been seeming like I'm an inconvenience to him. I literally always make an appointment. I'm not the "walk-in" kinda woman, although they accept walk-ins. The last visit, however, I was told there'd be an hour wait to repair ONE nail... remind you, I'm a LOYAL customer who always tip. Not that this makes a difference in the type of service they should be providing though... customer service is customer service! Then, as I proceeded to say that was a ridiculous amount of time, Dawson (manager) chuckles as if I'm joking. *rolls eyes* I'm just tired of feeling like my loyalty means nothing to this shop. I schedule appointments and STILL have to wait. I loved the way Dawson does my nails, but he always tries to push me off on someone else. I think it just may be time for me to go somewhere else if I'm looking for better service. I've already began looking up other shops and will take my money elsewhere. Came here while I was in blue ash for work. I did make an appointment a few hours before but seems as though they accommodate walk-ins. Had the deluxe spa pedicure. Was really lovely. Massage chair was a bonus. Technician had super attention to detail and my nails came out great and have lasted. Seems pretty clean and a lot of the tools are one time use it seems. I have been going to this salon exclusively for almost 3 years. I live in Hyde Park so it's a bit off the beaten path, but totally worth it! Lynn, Tommy, and Sam are awesome. It's a small staff so everyone is super friendly and they take a lot of pride in their work. They have over 50 gel shellac colors so I never get bored with their selection. Appointments are not necessary, but having a smaller staff you will be waiting if you go from 430-630 after work. However, if you call earlier in the day they will totally accommodate your schedule. 1000x better experience than the bigger salons in the area. 90s nails is the best! read more
