It's rare to find such bright, cheery, authentic, earnest shop owners, but the minute we walked in to check their eyeware, we were taken in by their infectious desire to please us. My spouse had spent a long time wanting to find just the right pair of frames and she found them here. Yes, we're in Malibu so the prices will be a little higher, but it's worth it for something that you really need and will wear constantly. The owners also helped me try on some glasses and urged me to get out of my comfort zone. I was happy to experiment and wound up with a pair myself. They'll do both the lenses and the frames. This is one of the two eyeglasses stores that I go to when I'm in Malibu. Loved this store from the minute I walked in, ARI, was extremely helpful and we tried on a bunch a frames together in a fun and jovial manner. I mean, I tried them on...and he told me how good I looked in them...LOL! So, I have tried to get a "take" on just looking in a mirror to decide if a pair of glasses or sunglasses look good on me and honestly, THE fail safe way to do this is to take a SELFIE, go on to the next pair, take a SELFIE and so on. As you scroll through the different shots you will either be horrified or pleased with what you see. I choose a pair of glasses by Habibe, they are called Habibe Vacationerds... aHem....Vactioners. They are extremely light, have wood sides to them, plastic frames etc. I love big, bold, thick plastic glasses. But these are very light for a change and will make less of a dent on my nose. I found this store to be extremely comfortable and I felt like just "hanging out" there for the rest of the day.. read more

I am an occupational therapist in Beverly Hills. I have run my own business for years. I bought a pair of red glasses by them and went in for them to adjust them. A day later, the expensive glasses broke. I called back the store and they denied knowing me. Eventually, the assistant said that I should come in and the owner would work with me, I was told to come in right away. I traveled two hours on a Friday and got there at two. The owner was not there and the assistance said he would give me 25 % off on a new pair. I picked out a frame and was quoted a price. The assistance looked at me and my daughter and said to us that we didn't need to look up the price as we should trust him I did not want to appear rude so I just paid the bill. I had some bad vibes about the assistant not remembering fixing my glasses. That alone is a joke as that sunday I was waiting outside and he made an effort to bring it to me. I cannot say enough glowing things about this Sunglass boutique! First, they only carry unique high end brands you wouldn't find anywhere local. Second, they are not salesman. They really do a great job at fitting the right glass to your face so you look like a movie star! I've gotten stopped to ask about my glasses and so many compliments. Third, they are so cool! It's like walking into Cheers. They are just good people! Last, the customer service and help with issues is like dealing with your dream business. I use to sell sunglasses in college so I can appreciate everything about this place and the high quality brands they carry. We weren't Abe to be as generous as they are. It is close competition between these guys and LensCrafters - just kidding. There isn't a better place for eyewear anywhere. The selection is really amazing and that's not just because of the high-end stuff that's hard to find - the mid range frames are great as well. The big thing is the quality of service and personal attention you get from beginning to end. I will never understand why people are willing to compromise the quality of what they put over their eyeballs at places in the mall or at big box stores that are selling tires a few feet away. This is a local, family owned and run eyeglass and sunglass store. They also do repairs. I cannot say enough about how helpful the owners, Jen and Steve, are. I have trouble selecting frames for myself and after looking at my face for about 10 seconds Jen chose something for me that is modern yet mature, exactly what I was looking for. They are a family run business and are located in the heart of Malibu. Their staff employee named Kevin went above and BEYOND in helping me secure a last minute xmas gift for my girlfriend. Purchasing eyewear from them was an absolute pleasure. While at first it seemed that getting the right pair of frames for my lady was going to be a pain in the a$$, the team at 9026Eyes turned what i thought would be a task into a memorable experience. When 3 different stores told me the particular frame I was looking for could not and would not be found, Jen and Steve came to save the day.
