I was a Walk-In with high hopes of having Mario as the tattoo artist who had the availability to pencil me in. I've been following his work for many years but never really got the chance to get tattoos because I live out of state. But as soon as I stepped foot in Miami, I reached out to him via Instagram. (Follow his work if you're aren't already doing so). His schedule is usually pretty booked (because he's that good) but he told me When he may have available time slots as walk in on a specific dates. I showed up and thank the tattoo gods that he was available to pencil me in! He was able to tattoo my sister and I. We both got palm trees but in completely different styles. He was able to put our personalities into each tattoo design. He was very meticulous with his technique with fine lines in both color and in black & whites. I kid you not, he was able to master both styles and for this I am beyond grateful for. Reach out to Mario and he will hook you up! 90 Miles Tattoo seemed like a great place to get a tattoo as their ratings are through the roof. If you know anything about rating on the internet you can manipulate bad ones. I needed an older tattoo touched up as it was much lighter than my lower half sleeve and didn't blend right. I talked with the front desk and was required to put $250 down to secure an appt. I sent a full 720 degree of my older tattoo and asked what I wanted. I explained in detail I wanted it to blend with my newer lower sleeve as well as revive some detail it had lost from being done 10 years ago. I was asked nothing until the day before I was supposed to come in red flag # 1. I was asked if i had an example and I said no because the previous artist drew it by hand then tattooed. No answer I show up to the shop and meet with the "artist" and then I was asked to put down a six hour session deposit which was $1350.00 which Ive never been asked to do in over 100 hours of being tattooed. Red flag # 2. I figured the reviews spoke for themselves again, I was gravely mistaken. My "artist" shook my hand and I began to explain what I wanted and to explain the tattoo. He literally stopped me mid-sentence and stated his English wasn't good. Red flag # 3. How am I supposed to let you know what I want or a have according to their website and social media a "personal" and "unique" experience when I can't even speak to the person that's supposed to be modifying my skin. Anyways the ink was already laid out as well as the tattoo gun which is a no Bueno because you don't know if everything is new or not. Tattoo 101. Then he goes right to work. Again, I have to assume he knows what the tattoo is and what needs to be done to blend. Half way through he stops and asks another "artist to come over, the talk in Spanish and now I'm getting very uneasy, red flag #4. He continues and for the next hour, answers phone calls, drops things on the ground picks them up with his tattoo glove hand (unsanitary and against any tattoo etiquette, without changing gloves) goes out for "smoke" breaks and comes back. He asks me to look in the mirror when he thinks he's done. The face of my soldier is completely gone. It literally looks like a potato or sack of flower. I'm furious because this was a symbol of my friend who died in Iraq. It's now a faceless being that looks like crap. I beyond mad at this point and he didn't even join the bottom or the top half of my tattoo as requested. This was less than three hours in. I had enough. I asked to speak with an "artist that spoke both English and Spanish to translate. After explaining everything I saw my "artist essentially take a step back and realize he messed up big time soberly because he didn't understand basic body parts and never took the time to research my tattoo. It looks like crap I was charged 7 hours for 3 hours of work. But was assured once it healed they could "slap the facial features back on." Garbage. I gave one star because they offered to try and fix it but I felt very uncomfortable going back. I was never offered a refund for the hours that were not used as well as the sub-par work done by the shop. So, while my experience was the worst Ive had in over 100 hours of tattooing do you really want to take the risk when there's 5 other shops within 5 miles that have better ratings and will sit down and actually talk to you in the language you speak? Again, there is some talent here but not going to pick out which "artist" did this as everyone talks the fall as a team. The only person I recommend is the front desk as they are awesome. Bad business, no accountability, and clearly a team that has survived on one or two artists to carry an entire shop of bad tattoo ediquite in Miami. I received my latest tattoo from Mario Arcila of 90 Miles Tattoo. Mario was able to combine my rough ideas and wants into a sick tattoo that I love. Communicating with Mario easy as was setting up an appointment. During my tattooing Mario mad me feel welcome and at ease. The actual act of tattooing obviously wasn't painless but Mario was not abusive on my skin. With Proper tattoo care I'm sure this tattoo will heal nicely. Such a dope tattoo spot in the heart of little Havana. They have tv's in every tattooing station so you can put whatever you want on. They also have wireless headsets so you can blast angry heavy metal music to help you cope with the breaking of your skin. Very unexpected spot due to its location, but so happy I came here to start on my sleeve. All the staff is extremely welcoming from the moment you walk in. I was helped out by Jon Laflore who specializes in black and gray tattoos and I was not disappointed. Slowly but surely we put together something that I'd like but still kept his style of tattooing in mind (you always want to leave the tattoo artist creative freedom for the best art, if not, why did you even choose that artist?) All in all, I'm so happy with the progress, probably one of the dopest sleeves I've seen so far and it just so happens to be on my own arm. I got my first tattoo over 20 years ago, however , it took me that long to get another. I decided for my second tattoo to go with a full arm sleeve. I started researching different shops and artist. I found 90 miles tattoo shop, after I saw Adrian "Adser" Benitez work on Instagram. I was impressed by his black and grey pieces, it was exactly what I was looking for. I contacted them through the shop website and with in a couple of hours, I received a phone call. After choosing Adser as my artist and telling them what I wanted, I was booked for my first session for the following month. Adser is a very talented artist, his work is amazing, I'm glad I found this shop. The shop is clean, and welcoming. I felt very at ease from the first time I stepped inside the shop. Everyone there were so nice and friendly. From I could see all of the tattoo artists at the shop are very talented. For my next tattoo I already know where I'm getting it done, my biggest dilemma will be if I book the same tattoo artist or book my next tattoo with one of the other talented artists in the shop. read more

Unfortunately, on 02/15/2022 I went to 90 miles studio tattoo (located in Miami) and requested a realistic tattoo, which represents the most perfect copy of the image on your skin, of Justin Bieber. Alec, the artist, and owner of the establishment said he would do the job because realism is his specialty and that he could do it very well. I even told him that this was the tattoo of my dream, and that if he thought it wasn't the job that had more to do with his style, I could get another tattoo on the same day with him, as I had other ideas and that he could choose the one he thought that he would do better. And he said he would do Justin Bieber's tattoo. However, the tattoo, when comparing to the original photo, has absolutely nothing to do with it. 1) First fact: the tattoo - This final version is not a realistic tattoo. - I didn't ask for a Justin Bieber tattoo. I asked for a realistic Justin Bieber tattoo. So, if you know what I'm talking about, you will recognize that this is not a realistic tattoo. - The face also lacks features and effects. Looks like Justin Bieber got Botox. - The clothes have no shape - There are no clothes. Only black blocks/squares. - The nose in the real photo is upturned and, in the tattoo, it is angled. - The hand has no shape. - The cap in the tattoo has an oval part that the photo does not have. - The flowers are terrible (zoom and you will see the decal tattoo in the final version). 2) Second fact: Negligence - I have arrived the studio around at 12:30pm and left around 6/7pm. To make the decal took 2h (because we tested different shapes) and the tattoo was done in 1h30/2h.(approximately). - The rest of the time, the tattoo artist asked to rest, and held meetings about cryptocurrencies because he works with that too. At one point, he even told me that he was going to stop the tattoo and get up for a meeting. Logically, tired, I warned him that I have time to leave, and I wouldn't admit it. And what was his solution? Keep doing the meeting on the phone while tattooing me at the same time. - How can someone do a realistic tattoo at this size, with so many details in 1h30/2h? Because he did not care about the tattoo. - After I left the studio, I was so overwhelmed that I have just realized that my arms still with the tattoo decal in many parts (not only the flower) and that they did not give me the tattoo plastic to put in my arms. 3) Third fact: Service - At the end of the tattoo, they asked me if I liked it, and I promptly I said no, and I showed them all the facts (already listed in the first point). Alec, the tattoo artist, told me that there was nothing wrong with the tattoo, and it was the same as in the picture. The only thing he offered me was to retouch the tattoo, which is not a solution, because if he thinks that the tattoo is the same as in the photo, what is he going to do? And, if he cannot do it right in the first way, how can he fix it? - The only thing I accepted was that he at least retouches Bieber's nose, and even then, it didn't look as it should be. - The next day (02/16), I called the establishment because I was so devastated that I was still trying to figure it out in my head everything. And I would like to know at least what they will do to reach a consensus on how to solve this problem. Because a customer cannot just leave a store dissatisfied and leave it at that. When I called them on this day, the front desk women said as an excuse that Alec was tattooing and he couldn't talk to me - funny that when he was tattooing me, he was talking to other people on the phone - about crypto. At this point, I was so devastated that I asked my aunt to call the studio, because I just did not have energy anymore, and when she talked with Alec, she was just trying to find a professional way to fix my damage. And he replied, "she signed a contract with us", when she asked him to send us the contract, he just hung up on her. We were in disbelief that he could have hung up on us and we decided to call more times, but he didn't answer, which proves that he hung up on us. Finally, this guy caused me physical, mental, and financial damaged because this tattoo will stay in my skin forever - not on his. He didn't even say a word to me after I said that the tattoo was not in the way that I expected. He knew that I did not want the retouched as a solution and he did not offer anything different. He just didn't do anything (which in this case, at the very least, should return the money, despite it will never repair the damage that will remain forever on my skin). He had 3 chances to do something (in the day, on the phone with me, on the phone with my aunt), and he did anything. He saw all my motivation and my happiness in the beginning of the tattoo, and in the final, he saw my face, my sad expression. He knows this, he was there. Absolutely terrible customer service. Agreed on half sleeve cover up tattoo, went onto consultation, they said it will be one to one and a half session max. After first full session they said it will be necessary to go with another full session and then we finished on two and a half sessions, we're talking about $1000 different projection here after tattoo artist said we still have one to two hours to finish and he have me his phone number and said he will personally organize that couple of hours free of charge in order to finish it. That was 3 months ago, he was sick, then he was sick again, then he has to call plumber, then he forgot, what a piece this guy. I already finished my tattoo at the other place month ago I was just letting them to do whatever just to see if they have limit. Well, they don't. Avoid this scum place unless you're doing something small that could be finished that day. I'll definitely make sure nobody that I know put their foot in this studio. Big time zero! read more
