Honey garlic sesame chicken
Pamela R.

Been meaning to try this local Chinese spot so decided to ubereat something. I ordered their Honey garlic sesame chicken along with a side of shrimp spring rolls. The Honey garlic sesame chicken was dry, soaked in honey and lacked sesame. I wish there was some chopped green onions or some type of garnish on top.

A little hidden gem tucked away in the middle of Brampton. I had no expectation of this Chinese Restaurant. I actually thought it wouldn't be authentic. Lol. Boy was I wrong. When I was little, I once asked my mom what the purple thing is on the plate during dinner. Mom said it's eggplant. I made a face of disgust and never ate eggplants until a couple of years ago. Now I love it. And of course I had to order this dish called Three Earthly Treasures. Eggplants, potatoes and peppers. One of the best vegetarian dish I have tasted. I also ordered a lobster cooked in maggi sauce. And I ate it without trying to think about how much the bill will come to. But yup. In Brampton, you can get a pretty good lobster dish, for a price that I don't want to think about. Lol. I also ordered Pomelo lemon iced tea. It was a refreshing drink at $6. Overall, I enjoyed my meal. The restaurant is very pretty, and the staff is quick with their service. The price is not the cheapest, but the taste is really good. I would go again.

Lobster tower (price by lb)

Got to visit this place and tried lots of different dishes the other day! It is located in the heart of Brampton, location wise is very nice and not able to missed it~ Personal favs are the pan fried dumplings, sweet and sour pork, and the lobster tower! Each dishes are well seasoned and presentation is on the spot! Also, loving the decor in the restaurant that gives the casual feeling but presentable enough to have family gatherings. It is a fortune for Brampton residents to have 9 Queen Chinese in the city.

Taro Bubble Tea

They've only been open six weeks apparently, but they're doing a lot of things right. Service is prompt and friendly, the food is well prepared, flavourful and appropriately priced ($11-16 for mains). There is a good variety of Chinese favourites, without being overwhelming. We started with the potstickers, which is clearly a must have item. The drumplings' wrapping was perfectly made and pan-fried. We also really enjoyed the stir fry noodles which had just right amount of oil and wok "flavour". They're supposed to get their liquor license soon, but they have some interesting mock tails and bubble tea options. We had the real taro bubble tea, which honestly tasted more like a milkshake and didn't have quite a strong taro flavour as I'd prefer. But perhaps I'm not the usual customer. When we paid the bill, we were invited back for free bubble tea which was a very nice bit of customer service. There's just a couple of small suggestions, the decor was a bit sparce and when the door opened, if you sit near the front, the wind would blow in on you. Overall I'd definitely come back. Brampton downtown needs these kinds of restaurants!

Brocoli and beef takeout

I'm not aware of any Chinese restaurants in the area, so very happy to have found this! Obviously not traditional Chinese food, but also not greasy fast food. I'd say the quality and taste are up there along with an affordable price point. Haven't been reviewing or eating out much because of the pandemic, but you have those days where you just don't want to cook. I've ordered here before and was a fan so decided to come back twice! Each time trying something new but also getting the lemon chicken every time. The lemon chicken is my favourite dish. It's deep fried in batter which sounds pretty funky, but I find it delicious. It's not your typical chicken I should say. This time, I got the beef and broccoli, also delicious and very savoury. The beef was very good and the broccoli was nicely cooked. Only thing I'd say is that the portion of broccoli vs beef was kinda off, with a lot more broccoli. Other than that, I'll be back. 4.5/5

This restaurant was recommended to us (5 people) by a local business owner. We were all pretty hungry so we were eager to order. We took our seats, quickly and reviewed the menu for 5 minutes before ordering our drinks with our server. It was our first time coming to this establishment. When we arrived the place was virtually empty, all but a couple occupied the space. When we showed up it seemed people started strolling in like no body's business after that. Our drink order: 2 bubbleteas, a mango lassi blend, and 2 sodas, pretty self explanatory. The review on the blended drinks was all round, too sweet; the immortal peach, the young fei and the true mango. They were delicious and a once-in-a-while type of thing esp. With the level of sweetness. The dishes took a long time to come out. In fact it took our server a long ass time to tend our table. As they plated our table, we discovered a dirty plate. Picture included. Rather unappetizing. Our dishes were massive and more than plenty for all 5 of us. Even the appetizers were fairly large in size, however to spend 20 bucks on an appetizer, a tad expensive. The Rich Man's fried rice, I give this 0.5 out of 5 stars. The dish I ordered was extremely bland. It should NOT be called Rich Man's fried rice, as the scallops were smaller than the size of dimes, and they only give you 3 to 4, if that, full shrimp. Thankfully they remove the shells. The rest of the shrimp they cut up into tiny peices, as if completely dismembering the shrimp and barely making it noticable as shrimp. They do this also with the asparagus spears, which hardly equate to 3 spears. The majority of the dish itself is rice, obviously, but it doesnt even seem like its fried at all, jus seems like cooked plain rice, with no soy sauce, no pepper, no salt, no anything. I would definitely not order this again. The other dishes were lacking in a lil' somethin', somethin', whether that was flavour, quality, or care. It shows. The beef, my friend said, melted in her mouth. Yet, meat is not supposed to melt in your mouth, it's meant to be chewed. Frankly, I dont know what that "meat" was, it did not look good! They try really hard to be a higher scale restaurant, yet they struggle. The service was sub-par. It took them such a long time to clear our dirty drink glasses, which had been on the table since the beginning of our meal and to notice our water needed refilling. Also, as first time customers to any establishment usually a run down of how things work there in the way of their menu and dish sizes, is provided. However, our server lacked the natural finesse, or mere practice necessary, to be on point. As, it is unfortunate to say, she was nice yet not the best server I have had. My other friend got food poisoning, so definitely would not be going back. All in all my experience was less than favourable. 1 out of 5 stars as stated!

Naughty Buddha fried rice, and two types of chicken: Fruity Gu Lou Yok and OGT chicken.

It's really refreshing to see such a focus on quality vs. quantity when it comes to the menu size and flavours. Some unique options and classics, it's all in the details. Combined with super bright, stylish interior (not typical of the area, or Chinese restaurants in general) and a central location at the heart of downtown Brampton, I look forward to going back regularly.

The food was good. It was a little pricey, but it was worth it. I would go there again. It was clean, and the staff was very friendly.

Old school Canadian Chinese food. Had it delivered by Uber. It reminds me of when my parents used to order when I was a kid.

We ordered the following: 2 X Beef Brisket Noodle 1 X Dan Dan Noodle 1 X Pork Rugamo The Beef Brisket Noodles were good as last time, as well as the Pork Rugamo (Chinese burger). The Dan Dan noodles were not as good as the other noodle dishes, and the pork pieces in the sauce seemed a bit hard. This is a family run small business and the service was good as the person taking our order was helpfully and friendly. The food was comparable to last time, so we will return.

Big portion and I liked it overall, the only thing is I asked for extra spicy and it was very very mild (my bf who can't handle spicy also agreed) Dan Dan noodle: 6/5 this was the highlight of our meal! While I'm not chinese, I love Chinese food and tried many different restaurants. I will tell you this is the best Dan Dan noodle I've tried! If I ever go back to Toronto, I'll definitely visit this place for the dish. Service The guy who served us was incredibly nice and he made sure we didn't order too much for just two people.

Small restaurant but quite a quick turnover. We got seated relatively quickly…read more I personally really love their nutritious lamb soup with sweet potato noodles. You can choose the level of spiciness and numbing to your liking. Unlimited noodle refill is a definite yes! Flavour is great, portion is quite generous, service is as expected. The only thing is we find the price is relatively more expensive than a similar type of noodle joint. Otherwise great experience! We would recommend.

Who doesn't love finding somewhat hidden gem of a place?…read more This location is unassumedly in a strip mall with a music store and pet care business and was such a delight to enjoy. The menu is pretty straight forward but so many options with Taiwanese and Chinese street food type options and fresh noodle and rice dishes. We tried the cuttlefish ball and sweet and sour cucumber salad eppetizers, the original noodle dish with sauce on the side, non vegetarian street noodle choice and the braised pork on rice dish that comes with optional seaweed soup on the side. Everything was tasty, but the seaweed soup was the least favourite for our table. Cuttlefish balls were crispy on the outside, juicy and bouncy on the inside with a sliight sweetness. The Cucumber salad used black vinegar as the base and were not too strong or punchy but provided a nice crisp relief with the other dishes. The egg noodles were just great. Firm and chewy and did I mentioned never ending?? If you need more noodles to gobble up whatever sauce or broth you order just ask! And a bowl will quickly appear at your table, included in your price. The flatter egg noodle was very light and the rounder egg pasta more chewy, both were delicious and held on to the sauces perfectly. The braised tea/soya egg were hard boiled and flavourful and this rice dish was very kid friendly too, a great way to introduce kiddos to the menu. Service was quick and friendly and well worth a detour to visit.

We haven't been able to visit for the past few years then decided to visit again for the sake of nostalgia. The whole menu changed so much that we didn't recognize 90% of them. I was able to find pictures of old menu from Google and showed to the server as I could not find our favorite dishes in the new menu. Luckily, they weren't on the menu but all available to make upon request! The taste didn't change much. I love the sauteed pork with pepper and chili was still so amazing. Spiced dry lettuce root was a bit too oily and needed more salt but still tasted good. Spicy beef noodle was also really nice as well but felt like the spices were bit heavier than years ago. Still pretty good and portion size was huge. They didn't change too much of the space as the overall layout and dining area remained unchanged. Service was great as well. I'm glad that this place is still serving the old menu and will definitely return. I always crave their spicy noodle bowl in the winter!

There is nothing spicy about the food here despite it being a Sichuan restaurant. For the "ant crawling up the tree" noodle dish, what they gave doesn't even remotely match what a traditional "ant crawling up the tree" dish would look like. It doesn't even resemble the picture on their menu. Not resembling the traditional version is ok if it tastes great, but not in this case. I get that this restaurant is in Missisauga instead of Markham/Richmond Hill or even downtown Toronto Chinatown, but the quality is way too far off.
