After hurricane damage, we began considering an exterior update for our Redington Beach, FL home…read more We'd talked about it for a while, and after seeing Alpine Exteriors' impressive projects around Tampa Bay and St. Petersburg, we finally decided to reach out. After dealing with high quotes and poor follow-up from other companies, it was refreshing to find a team that was responsive, professional, and made the process stress-free from the very first meeting. Veto was especially accommodating with scheduling and product selections, which made everything even easier. Our old siding had definitely seen better days, and I knew I wanted Hardie siding for its durability and warranty. Learning that Alpine had just won a Hardie Award gave us extra peace of mind. We ultimately chose pre-painted James Hardie lap siding in Iron Gray with crisp Arctic White trim--a combination that completely transformed the house. Neighbors constantly compliment the new look, calling it sharp and coastal. In addition to the siding, Alpine upgraded all our windows to dark brown aluminum PGT impact windows, replaced the soffits with pre-painted white aluminum, and installed two new French doors in the back along with a new storm-resistant front entry door. Having one trusted contractor handle everything--rather than juggling multiple companies--was a huge benefit. The results exceeded our expectations. The Iron Gray siding paired with the bright white trim created a timeless coastal style that fits our Redington Beach neighborhood perfectly. Alpine even handled interior updates like drywall repairs, baseboards, trim, and painting, ensuring the whole project felt seamless. Communication was great, scheduling was efficient, and Veto happily addressed any questions I had. As a James Hardie Elite Preferred Contractor--featured directly on the Hardie website--and the winner of the 2025 James Hardie National Project of the Year award, Alpine Exteriors delivered on every promise. Their certifications with PGT and CWS windows also gave us confidence in the quality of the products installed. If you're in the Tampa Bay or Redington Beach area and need siding, roofing, or exterior remodeling, we wholeheartedly recommend Alpine Exteriors. They truly went above and beyond.

Curtis was here with 24 hours to assess the issues and made all the right recommendations to fix the damage. We had had a different company repair our lanai after the hurricane and they were a nightmare, charged way more than the work they did was worth and were just nasty when I had to chase them for MONTHS to get the work done. I wish I'd called Curtis. He was very friendly, honest and professional, scoped out everything as we walked around the house and agreed that the other company should have added a brace to secure the lanai overhang, which he offered to do for a small additional charge. He had an estimate to me later the same day that was incredibly reasonable and we agreed to the work. Given my previous experience with White, I was...let's say anxious but hopeful? This company exceeded my expectations by a mile. The very next week, his foreman Andrew did the repair and instillation work after Curtis secured all the necessary pieces. The care and attention to detail these craftsmen applied to every step of the job was amazing and the results are stunning. I recommend Curtis Clark & Associates to everyone!!!

I can't give enough praise for the workmanship, on-time schedule, kept informed, professionalism, follow-up calls, etc. They started job (as promised with date) in late June with windows. The following week, windows in and complete and the next day insulation and siding started! Entire job was completed the 1st week of July! Wow! Wow! Wow! Curtis made sure his guys had everything they needed to start and complete the job! I also need to give a significant amount of credit to Randy (highly experienced worker). He made sure all windows were installed plumb and level. Siding was leveled and installed straight. I might add, our home was built in 1964 so we all know how homes shift through the years. Well, it looks like we have a new home! Thank you goes out to Curtis, Randy and Jesus! Best crew ever!! Phenomenal job by all! I highly recommend Curtis Clark & Associates! Just posted this on Google Reviews:…read more Recently, we needed a new roof on our home. We called one company that had excellent reviews, they sent someone out to access the roof, and he said they would get back to us in a few days. Almost two weeks went by, and there was no follow-up. So,...we called another company in our area that had excellent reviews. They were very pleasant on the phone, and set up a solid appointment for the following week, for someone to come out. No one ever showed up for the appointment, and there was no follow-up. Hence, we called Wild Roofing, and spoke with Paul. He let us know someone would come out to assess the damaged roof - damaged from our last hurricane - and get back to us. His nephew, Michael, came out and spoke with us not too long after that. He got up on the roof, took photos, and got back to us with an estimate. He was prompt, efficient, and extremely personable. We decided to go with them, and have a new roof. It was installed by some HARD working fellows, done in a few days, and everything was completely cleaned up - yard, walkway, driveway, etc. From our recent experience, we can recommend them without any reservations, as they were the ONLY ones who were prompt, and did what they said they would do.

My neighbor works for Mighty Dog, so I felt that I should do business with them. She assured me…read morethat they would "take care of me". Once they sent me completion photos, I went to look. I found: -tar on shingles (all over the roof) -tar on skylight (see photo) -damage to fascia (see photo) -a nail hole through one gutter -a shingle bowed high enough that I could get my hand under it (see photo) -screen on the dryer exhaust (This is against code, dryer lint collects and causes problems) -multiple shingles bubbling (called "blistering") -(see photo) After contacting Mighty Dog with photos, they told me that they would make some repairs and cited several specific areas. I asked to speak to the owner, hoping this would insure proper attention. His response on the phone: -They need to do a better job of their inspection process -One of the guys put extra cement under the shingles since the house is near the beach, maybe that's why so much roofing cement tracked all over...but it is only cosmetic. I told him I don't want roofing tar all over the roof, even if it doesn't cause it to leak. He also told me that blistering shingles result from hot cement, and that I should not worry. (Several of the blistering shingles had already burst....he did not address that) **I contacted the manufacturer who told me: -industry association accepts that reason for blistering is excess roofing cement or manufacturing defect. -installation instructions for this shingle warn that use of excess cement can cause blistering Following repair visit #1: I returned and found multiple areas unfixed, some of which Phil Crutchfield (owner) had assured me in writing would be fixed. I emailed the list again and was told that they were not willing to fix anything further. The response to the nail hole in the gutter is that it is only cosmetic, as they plugged it with caulk. Also, it is my responsibility per the contract to protect the house from them. They told me that the roof had passed inspection and the town had closed out the permit. I called the town. The roof had not been through final inspection and the permit was not closed. I paid an independent inspector. I sent his report along with pictures and was told that the company would address these areas if I pay in full. I refused, citing common practice that a job should be complete before final payment and the fact that there were multiple misleading statements in prior communication from them. I would like them to finish the job and I would promptly pay. I received several letters from their lawyer. I called my neighbor and asked if she could check that the owner actually knows how I was being treated.....I also spoke to the sales guy. It was made clear that the owner, Phil Crutchfield "digs his heels in". I spoke to a lawyer who told me that the remaining bill is not worth fighting about, from a financial perspective. I paid the bill, then was advised that I owe them for legal fees in the amount of $1100. I paid because I am too busy to fight this battle, and hiring a lawyer is not worth it. They came back to the house and again left numerous items unfixed. I emailed and called. No response. Then I saw the Mighty Dog tent at a local event giving out candy. I walked over and asked if Phil was there. He was not, but my sales guy and the production manager were. I asked them why nobody would return my emails. The production manager assured me that someone would come that week to fix the remaining items, which they did. From their lawyer I received a cease and desist letter to not say negative things about them, that I am notified to only cite hard facts. I did not know that cease and desist is something companies do as a preemptive measure. I told a friend in the contracting business what was going on and he guessed that it was Mighty Dog before I told him the name of the company. He informed me that he knows several people with a similar story, including a company that he does business with. Camber Brands owns Mighty Dog Roofing of SW FL, Blingle (decorative lighting installation) and Varsity Zone HVAC. Here is the list from the independent inspector, AFTER Mighty Dog had done the first repair visit: Shingle is lifted at SE corner drip-edge Portion of shingles are lifted at ridge-vent Cosmetic blemishes present on shingles, likely occurred during unpacking of materials There are a few locations where shingles aren't installed tight together, exposing "SureNail" strip Damaged ridge shingle at N corner of roof Damaged ridge shingle at NW corner of roof Metal mesh screen present at dryer vent terminationManufacturing defects present at multiple ridge shingles Gutter damage at S overhang
