Tyler and Casey had it totally repaired in about an hour. They inspected and repaired everything including the springs, tension, torque, bearings, alignment, cable, and even replaced a connecting piece from the chain drive that was damaged in the storm. In addition, they arrived within 90 minutes after my phone call on a Monday (after the weekend when more emergencies occur). Actually have never owned in my three houses in PA, NY and now FL since 1992 a noisier and "sicker" sounding door. Found Veterans Garage Door on Nextdoor and clicked into their site and sent a contact form. Quickly got a text message and then I responded with the location and situation. The next day a VERY professional and pleasant. We negotiated a few available dates and actually had them nearby in the next two days!!! Made a 4 hour window appointment and I joked that I hope not like Xfinity or maybe Verizon. Was assured NOT going to happen! 15 minutes before the appointment window the men called and said they are enroute!! BAM! 12:15 PM pulled up to the driveway!!!! Had a grand chat about the house, the new door, etc etc. They troubleshot and tuned the "screaming" whining door......... charged me for a simple tune up!!!! Really professional and fantastic guys!! Of course the skill and workmanship were obvious. A few misaligned hinges/wheels and lots of binding panels etc etc. (no stickers from who installed it probably to protect the 'perpetrators') The door is about a 9 out of 10 improvement. First thing the technician said was, these springs are wrong, one was a 242 and the other a 250. Said they should both be 250's. In essence the 242 is a small spring. So Banko, whether on purpose, or by accident installed the wrong springs. This is 100% what led to the premature failure of the sping. Bottom line, AVOID BANKO. I feel they do this on purpose to cause premature failure in order so you call them more often than you should. I reached out to Banko, I'm awaiting a call back from a manager.
