I'm so glad I was introduced to Sergio and his team at 818 Handyman LLC by a friend. They did an incredible job remodeling my new home. Their work included tiling, painting the entire house, installing new moldings and cabinets, building a brand-new fireplace from the ground up, installing the toilet and vanity, completing all sink plumbing, and even sanding and painting my patio. They truly handled everything--and did it beautifully. The quality of their work was outstanding, their pricing was very reasonable, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. I couldn't be happier with the results and would 100% recommend them. Thank you guys. read more

We had water leaking on our 3rd floor during heavy rain and absolutely no roofing companies were willing to inspect it or even climb our roof during rain. We knew it would rain for several days and the problem would get out of control. We were told to call a handyman, and after describing what was happening -- on Christmas Eve of all times -- Sergio graciously agreed to come help us right away. He came promptly, climbed our roof despite heavy rain, immediately diagnosed the issue (flue cap had flown away, exposing the flue pipe to rain which was going to leak in and damage our water heater, walls, floor, etc), went to get the materials, and fixed it. The leaking stopped and we hit the area with a floor fan to make sure mold wouldn't form and it would dry completely. He worked efficiently, was compassionate, professional, and spared us huge expenses that would have come from the damage of others being unwilling to come on Christmas Eve let alone in heavy rain. Sergio even followed through with us, checking in to make sure the leaking had in fact subsided to ensure that was the only source. Sergio is kind, honest, and professional. We definitely recommend his services. Thank you, Sergio! read more

Sergio belled me out recently ! I tried a project that I thought would be simple and it turned into a disaster. I turned to the internet looking for a contractor and I called Sergio not expecting him to answer his phone after 9pm on a Saturday night but he did! He showed up to my house 8am the next morning. He was a life saver because I needed to have this work done before my painter arrived later that morning. Sergio exceeded our expectations. He's very communicative and cares about the quality of his work. He's very talented and gave me ideas I never even thought about. He works fast but the quality is great because he knows what he's doing! I would defiantly recommended him for any job because he's highly skilled. read more

We recently had the pleasure of working with Sergio and his team for several tasks around our home, and we couldn't be more satisfied with their work. From start to finish, they demonstrated the utmost professionalism, efficiency, and affordability. The really hard task was soundproof a sliding barn door, it's challenging because it required a gap between the wall and the barn door so it can slide. We didn't know if it would work in the beginning, but Sergio took a look and started working. The result is great and we couldn't be more happier. He and his team also did bunch of other tasks, including painting the walls, installing and mounting cabinet, fixing/replacing some loosen basin stopper/drawer, replacing and installing the lock and installing security camera etc. They were fast and professional, and always ask if there is a question to make sure we are on the same page. We would highly recommend Sergio and his team to anyone in need of handyman services. We have no doubt that Sergio will be a valuable asset to anyone seeking high-quality home improvement services. read more

I have been using Sergio for close to 2 1/2 years now. He's done amazing work. He landscaped my backyard in my past house. He put pavers down with an amazing quote. He also built a handmade fence as well as a dog run. He's reliable trustworthy and gets shit done fast. I now live in a home in Encino and he's been helping us do so much stuff. He took our kitchen out. He can fix anything you need. He mounts up TVs. He's painted my son's room. He's fixed our whole fence . He built me an outside deck and painted it. He installed a fountain. There's nothing this guy can't do. I would recommend him to anybody and everybody. 100% the best handyman around. read more

At the beginning just threw out one "estimate" $5,000 just for labor then during text exchange "escalated" it into $10,000 by disregarding verbal agreement we had and trying to upswell unnecessary stuff. No breakdown of pricing, no labor estimate. While largest corporations in USA pay millions to their MBAs to come up with proper pricing which are usually within several cents of margin, his pricing is based "exclusively" on $5,000 "increments". COMICAL! Look photo what " architectural design" he gave me to me to build a complex structure on a hillside house without geological survey. read more

When I found out my handyman retired, I panicked. Yelp is often hit or miss, but I had Sergio come to bid on several projects. His price was fair and he had a broad skillset so we had him start work right away. He took on granite work, cabinetry reconstruction, and plumbing projects. He delivered top quality results quickly. He even volunteered to do multiple Home Depot runs. My project list grew over four days and I've already referred him to 3 friends. Sergio's a great guy and exactly what you hope for in a handyman: high quality, productive, reliable, affordable and a master of many trades. We look forward to working with him again. I worked with 818 Handyman for my bathroom remodel project, he did a wonderful job in tiles, fittings and plumbings.

This guy has been stringing me along for a week in order for him to come out for a job. Finally we made an appointment. 1 hour prior to our appointment he said he is running late and I said OK. He then texted me last minute saying he can't make it. After all this he didn't even bother to try and reschedule. Also he sounded unprofessional over the phone. read more
