This was my first time hiring any handyman of some sort so l didn't really know what to expect and I was extremely nervous because I wanted to remove this doggie door and I was afraid that the quality of the work might not fit my expectations but Anton managed to go above and beyond. I had 3 exposed beams that had some rot after the heavy rains the past couple months and I wanted to redo a bad drywall patch another handy man had "fixed." Anton really is a hard worker, he did not take a break the whole day. He came in on time, had great communication, and professionalism. He shaved off the rotted wood on the beams, added wood filling, and painted. The drywall fix was leveled and painted to match the rest of the ceiling. All the work ended up looking great and prices were more than fair. I would definitely recommend Anton for any work needed around your home. I've hired Anton twice. First, to attach new molding to a vanity that had been a replacement for a very old one. After the vanity had been installed by my plumber, there were gaps between it and and tile since the tile had been installed around the old vanity. He did a magnificent job, mitering the edges very professionally and painting afterwards. It looked like the molding was part of the vanity when he was finished. He has also replaced attic vent grills, recaulked my two bath tubs, and reattached a kitchen molding that had gotten warped over the years. These were also done very nicely. Although he arrived a bit later than indicated, he got right to work and started fixing things right away! Within two hours, he fixed two lights, put a hinge back on a door, reattached two thresholds, put together a broken threshold & glued in a vertical blind. He is creative so I didn't have to purchase an entirely new vertical blind track. With fixing the broken threshold, it saved me from having to purchase a new piece (and I'm not sure I couldn't found the piece to match), so this saved me some money & time. It doesn't look perfect, but for a rental, it looks pretty good. The only thing I would mention is that he said $70 flat rate, but he actually charges $70 per hour. Anton lives up to his name: he is a VERY hard worker. I came across his profile on Thumbtack and I needed a couple of minor things done. First and foremost, he was extremely honest in his capabilities: we were looking to get some wooden floor panels replaced since the original ones were scratched in a move. I sent him the pictures over text and he told me it would be hard to replace them without the replacement panels. Other pros I had reached out to quoted us upwards of $4200 for the same job. Once I provided him with the replacement panels, Anton replaced them in less than 3 hours and the floor looks as good as new! Best of all, he charged us a tenth of what others were quoting. Anton also did some other work for us and he will be our go-to handyman. For three key reasons a) he's honest - he'll tell you what he can do and what he cannot do b) he delivers - if he says he can do something, rest assured he'll do it better than anyone can and c) he's clean - he was extremely clean, conscientious as if he were working on his own home. Anton is the best! Very hard working and professional. We have hired him for a few jobs and he can do anything! We've had some difficult installation jobs that the big retailers refused to do as it required some extra carpentry and electrical work. Anton stepped in and was able to basically do custom woodworking and all the electrical and install the appliances (microwave for one job and replacing an old stove in another job). Great for any construction work Anton knows all type of construction work and provided impeccable job for me, that no one else can do. I had great experience with any job that he did at my house. He has done many type of job at my home, painting, taking care of mold and damaged wood. I had a major leak from stair to the storage inside the parking area, that created so much mold and damage to the wood and the paint, at the ceiling of the parking and inside the storage. A contractor a while ago took care of that, but this contractor guys did a very lousy job that everything got messed up all over. I reached out to Anton and he took care this job and it has been a while and I didn't have any further issue, which after the contractor did the work in one month after the first rain. I got all the damages again and even worse. Anton was able to diagnose the problem and fix it really good. Recently a concrete wall after recent earthquake, in my back yard was all cracked and a very difficult job to do. I took some photos and sent to Anton to find out if he can take care of this job or not. Anton said he was able to do the job and he finished in a couple days, it looks great right now.
