She suggested that if it's in my budget, to consider colored tablecloths instead. This was a great idea since Café Julia just purchased new gold chivari chairs that would've been a shame to cover up. Even though I was sold on the idea of tablecloths, I wasn't sure of what color to rent. I already had my centerpiece set, so I described it to her via email (I didn't even have a sample made yet). She suggested a royal blue tablecloth. I trusted her decision and once I started assembling my centerpieces, I got so excited imagining how the tablecloths would look with my centerpieces. Once I saw how great the blue and silver tablecloths looked, I knew Sharee was an expert at suggesting color schemes! She also suggested that I do a silver sequin tablecloth for our head table and a matching one for the cake table. The head table had a scalloped design, which just made it a great focal point. I was lucky enough to see her work firsthand at The Wedding Café's Floral and Décor workshop. Sharee and her husband Ed set up an amazing backdrop using metal piping and sheer material for the draping. Once I saw it, I knew I had to have that for a backdrop for pictures with our guests. She also is such an expert, especially with the backdrop assembly. I purchased LED string lights in the shape of butterflies and wanted that to hang vertically from her backdrop. I explained to her how many strings I had and the length of each string. On the days leading up to the wedding, she assured me that she would take care of it and that it would all work out. This was a huge relief since I hadn't tried out the string lights to see how it would look. The lights looked amazing against the backdrop! She and her husband set it up for us and it made for awesome pictures. Sharee is amazing and so down to earth. I really enjoyed talking to her and loved how her tablecloths and backdrop really transformed the hall into a lovely place for our wedding reception.

The only thing was we had to wait weeks for her to respond. She would apologize and say she was busy and would get back to me in a few days, but days would come to weeks. I'm a pretty patient person, but waiting weeks for a quote was a turn off and decided to go elsewhere. Keep in mind she works on her own and her inventory is pretty limited. The great thing is their inexpensive, I just hope Shari has hired an assistant to help with the workload.

At first, I wanted everything; linens, chair covers, backdrop and drapes inside the entire venue, a love seat and flowers. Despite the changes, Stephany was super accommodating. She never gave me a hard time about cancelling some of the services I got from her, and sent my invoice right away. I chose to do all white for my venue. I had white table covers, white chair covers, white sashes, and amazing pipe and drapes behind the head table. I was also provided with the leis, bouquets, boutonnieres, and a big arrangement for my head table. She provided me roses in pink and white color. They weren't exactly the flowers I was looking for, because I made a fake flower arrangement for my centerpieces, but, they were really beautiful. If you are particular, I would suggest that you have Stephany provide you with your flower needs, that way it would all coordinate and look the same. These are one of the two things that represent my husband and I wanted to surprise him! Maile is incredible! She came home from a family trip and set up the signs all on her own. The photos should say it all! I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have gotten these signs! It was the best decision ever and so so worth it! These signs ended up being multi purpose! They made the perfect back drop/ photo area!!! Especially when the sunset arrived! On top of everything else on the day of my wedding these signs made my wedding that much more special not only for my husband and I but our entire ohana! We had no complaints through the process as it was very straightforward. The chandeliers and drapes were just right and we could not have asked for more for our outdoor wedding reception. We had a 60' by 40' clear tent from Turtle Bay Resort so Event Essentials suggested five chandeliers. They were perfect and gave the romantic look my wife was looking for.

I don't know what time they arrived, but at 5:50pm, the seat covers and bows were still being put on. My family had to help out and my husband had to ask to have the walllights turned on. It wasn't their fault, but the vendor setup one less table than they were supposed to, and we weren't even offered any money back in return. We definitely did not give tip, considering they did not hold up to their timing agreement, my family had to help, and that's just something you don't want to have to worry about the day of your reception. Gwen and Denise were super friendly through all the stress of planning and very accomodating with the changes we had to make. We were allowed to cancel a large tent two days before the event when it appeared that the weather would hold up. The workers showed up promptly that morning and busted 'okole setting everything up just as we asked. Then they showed up promptly at the end of the night, busting 'okole again to take everything away. The whole time, they were pleasant and respectful. Accel will be at the top of our list should we need event services in the future.
