Unfortunately, the night before the event the guest of honor that we were throwing the party had to go to the hospital so we could not carryon on with their party. They flew in like Superman to save the day (family reunion). Last Friday, C&C finally called me to go over my permit. The original party rental company were not listed with the C&C as an insured vendor. Talk about almost having a panic attack. After talking with the office personnel that I'll call them back after checking with the original company who did not answer, I looked up via Yelp who were reliable party rental companies. A & B Party Rentals was the top of the list AND they are located in Kapolei. I contacted them and first thing I asked...are they listed on the C&C list of insured vendors. They said yes. They were also available for the date of my event. PERFECT. I chose my package and paid in full instead of a deposit because they saved my sanity. The day prior to the event, they called to confirm as well as find out what time I would be at the park because there is a two hour window of when they would arrive depending on the time I indicated I would be at the park. On the day of, they showed up within the hour and set up quickly and efficiently. Friendly young guys who had a good system of working together. Our breakdown was scheduled for 5:00pm but my family were having too much fun, that I contacted A & B party rentals to see if I could extend to 6:00pm. They were accommodating and said yes. The breakdown was just as fast by the same team that my husband and I chose to tip them again. At the end of the event, I had to breathe a sigh of relief that everything went as smooth as possible. The tent (20x40) accommodated my entire family of 60+. The picnic tables I requested were sturdy and easy to set up (NOTE: If you choose this table option, the table set up is on you.) The bouncer comes with its own generator and lasted way more than the expected time (4-6 hours). Recommend: Highly Returning Customer: I will be! Was kinda stressed looking for someone who could set up a secured covering at a reasonable price. Luckily found Honolulu party rentals. Ryan promptly returned my call and worked within my budget. He promised to come by at 730am and arrived on time! Wut?? Yup! Set up took 30 min (to haul everything up to the pool deck and put everything together) and ryan came back for the breakdown at the agreed time. Ultra professional, respectful, and reasonable. Dennis and his gang came in early to set up and even helped us in setting up the tables when they noticed that we were running behind schedule. They gave A LOT. For the price of all those items I rented them for I was expecting the servings to be small but in fact they were the opposite. The halo halo for example was the size of a regular halo halo you would find at a restaurant. The cotton candy was bigger than the size of my head. All the adults and kids really enjoyed them. They also stayed longer than the time I rented them for and even saved the take down of the bounce house for last because the kids were still enjoying it. Dennis and his gang was very friendly and quick with their service. At the end of the party, they helped us with clean up too! I'm so glad that we used them. And we rented thousands of dollars worth of wedding supplies from them for our wedding. We own a company that deals with luxury real estate and were just shocked at how horribly these people treated us. We have never seen such horrible customer service in our 15 years in business. It culminated when they just charged our card without any email or call or detailed invoice. Basically they were unhappy because we did not tear down all the tables and chairs and their cushio ns sat outside overnight. They had never told us we needed to put all the cushions away.... And a couple glasses and a tray were missing. We had a simple and elegant wedding but they acted as if we had thrown a rager and lost and broke a bunch of stuff which is simply not the case. I just feel bad for these people as they clearly will not be around long. I was literally sitting in our honeymoon suite on the phone with them for half an hour arguing when it dawned on me how crazy it was that I'm giving these people my money and business and they act like we owed them! We were so put off, and that they would just charge our card like that. And we were tactful and courteous the entire time. And they came at us like vultures
