To preface, this was my first time going to a cat cafe so I wasn't really sure what to expect. The drip coffee was the only drink they have besides tea that was decaffeinated. It was actually really good for drip coffee. I didn't mention it at the cafe, but on the menu, the coffee is $2.95 but when she rang them up it came out to about $7 a drink. Not sure where the discrepancy was there. A sink was also not working properly so it took about 20 minutes to get our drinks. Because of our wait time, she let us have 30 free minutes with the cats. That was really kind! (We still donated money for the cause). The cats were all new to the room except for one. Some of the cats didn't really get along well with each other, but it was an overall good experience. I would love to come back some time!

But after an initial warm greeting and after our orders were placed, service disappeared and no one even checked on us to ask about water refills or apologize for the wait. The first of us was served an hour after our reservation time and the other three in 20 minute increments. One after the other. My companions enjoyed their food. Mine was the last to arrive. I got the crabcakes which were served more like a crab salad, not a cake or patty, and I didn't enjoy it. As I said, I expected a wait, and I was flexible and patient with the fact that there were items on the menu that they were out of. But I'm truly perplexed about what happened to our service, which was initially very friendly and present, and I'd have felt better about the experience if the issues were acknowledged.
