We initially visited Metro Honda to check out a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) CR-V, but were…read moreimmediately put off by a senior sales manager who was essentially selling snake oil. He claimed the car could be made "certifiable" for $5,000. It wasn't my first time buying a car, so I walked out right away. We stopped by Route 22 Honda without an appointment and were greeted by Juan David. We asked if they had any 2023 CPO CR-V EX-Ls available. He let us know they only had one on the lot and offered to show it to us. Unfortunately, we didn't like the color combination. He then checked their database and other lots for inventory that matched our preferences. Juan brought over a senior sales manager, Gio, who confirmed they didn't have the year and spec we were looking for anywhere in their system. He suggested considering a new CR-V instead. While we weren't planning to buy new, we appreciated the suggestion and were open to the conversation. What stood out was that neither Gio nor Juan pressured us or tried to push a sale. They were transparent about the out-the-door pricing and gave us a clear breakdown of the costs; no games or endless "let me check with my manager" delays. In the end, we purchased a brand-new 2026 CR-V from them. The price was fair, but more importantly, we were well taken care of. One thing I didn't like, though it's more about the dealership than Juan or Gio, is that they charge a fee for using a credit card. Covering credit card processing fees is part of running a business, and they shouldn't be passing that cost on to customers

This dealership is piss poor and does not stand by their word. On January 15, 2024, I purchased a…read more2007 Mini Cooper and on the first day of purchase the check engine light came on. Mind you the manager, Juan Genao, hand-written on the warranty that the engine an transmission would be guaranteed for 30 days. He claimed they fixed the initial problem, however, I picked up the car on February 8, 2024 and once again the check engine came on and this time they refused to fix it or refund my money. BUYERS BEWARE!

I never write reviews but my experience with United Auto Sale LLC in Newark was the absolute worst…read more I purchased a 2009 Cadillac Escalade on Dec 5, 2019, the car was clean and looked ok. I test drove it, it drove a little rough, but I was told it was just because it was sitting for an extended period. The car needed brakes which they were willing to fix in addition to other small cosmetics which were easily fixed....I drove the car home with my new year-long extended and it cut off about a half a mile from the dealer. I drove back to the dealer they added oil and told me to get an oil change from there mechanic on Monday! I went to the dealers mechanic go an oil change and from that point forward that car was in and out of the shop for a month for a bunch of stuff major oil leaking, fuel pump, oil pressure sensor and oil pump malfunction it got to the point I drove the car more to that shop than anywhere else! For the first month, the car was in the shop for 17 days! Once Jan 5, 2020, came United Auto Sale LLC decided that they were unwilling to fix the car anymore! And told me to go through the warranty company "Veterans Warranty" they are not friendly to veterans at all, I served this country with pride and I would never treat people the way they did. Veternas Warranty sent me to a car repair place that held my car for another month. Without doing repairs, Veterans Warranty ordered the repair shop to diagnose the car! Veterans Warranty sent an inspector whose sole purpose was to find a way to deny the claim stating that my trouble was a preexisting problem and it was not covered and I had to pay $700 for a diagnostic done on a 2009 Cadillac Escalade with a damaged engine....If your thinking about buying a car from this place know that you have been warned because they will do the same thing to you! Run as far away from this place as possible! I've have not had a working car since December 10th, 2019, No has contacted me about my down payment of $1,500 no one has apologized about this whole situation. They suck! Ps. I checked their website they have the same car that gave me all those problems for sale again! Don't be the next victim!! This is the name of the dealership don't be the next victim United Auto Sales Used car dealer in Newark, New Jersey Address: 313 Elizabeth Ave, Newark, NJ 07112 Phone: (973) 732-5132
