This salon has a very unprofessional demeanor. The owner cannot take the time to greet you or make you feel welcome. One of the other employees likes to complain vocally about her miserable life. Who wants to get their hair done while listening to others complain, not me. Also, beware that their products can cause sensitivity reactions in some and are very drying. Do not recommend. read more

This is my third time at 76 West, and I can't say enough about the experience and results. I have never been a short hair person and Katey has delivered awesome cuts every time. I keep coming back for more! She made me feel comfortable and confident and asked me personal questions, as well as made personal suggestions, so I felt like it was a haircut for ME. The salon is beautiful and comfortable. They use amazing products. These stylists are definitely color experts! Also, the shop manager, Angie, is one of kind. She does it all and keeps the salon beautiful and running smoothly. I will keep coming here from Virginia Beach because I have yet to find another person I trust with my hair like Katey or a salon experience like 76 West on the south side.
