My wife has had multiple hair appointments for K-tip extensions. At first they started out great,…read morebut as time went on and after a few appointments they became worse and worse, making her lose more of her natural hair each time. It first started with the extensions being placed to high above the ear constantly pulling her hair. Then leading to the keratin placement and amount used. They're supposed to blend in not stick out like a sore thumb. She used almost a full inch for each extension placed, with this and the amount of hair used for each extension it looked tacky and rushed. With this last round of extensions they were placed too heavily and used too much keratin to hold them. As they began falling out they were taking a LOT of her natural hair with them. This hair used to go down to under her bra line and now it barely reaches her shoulders. She took the rest of them out today and couldn't believe her eyes. I come home to her crying and hating what has happened to her hair due to the amount lost and terrible inserts of the extensions. This type of service should stay the same throughout the appointments, and customers who continuously come back should not have to deal with their hair being ruined as a result of a lack of care and hurriedness to get the appointment done. We will not be returning as this has been a downhill ride from the start. Ruining someone's hair as a result of sloppy and lazy work is terrible when hair is one of the key features that people identify themselves with. And when you tarnish that it's time to go somewhere else. As far as service goes there are no immediate complaints. The workers were pleasant and friendly.

I went to Salty Salon today for the first time. The lady who did my hair was kind. My only…read morecomplaint about her is there was dye all around the edge of my face when I left. I didn't notice it until I got to the car and looked in the mirror and thought omg I have somewhere else to go looking like this. My hair looked great though. She did a great job. Reason for a less star is when I called to ask about prices, I was given one price. I wasn't told blow dry was an additional cost. So I'm going in thinking I'm going to spend $100 after tip. $80 for roots and $20 tip. I was offered one other service which I figured there would be a fee and took it. When I got the total owed at end I was floored it was approx $180. It was $40 or $45 for blow dry. I wasn't told that on the phone. I wasn't asked if I wanted my hair blow dryer. I would've said yes but I should've been told it is an extra fee when I called about price. I do not blame he lady who did my hair as she wasn't part of the phone conversation. So even with the added service I thought was going to pay $150 after tip. Nope. Thanks to the blow dry fee it was over $200! When people call and ask for price for roots and full dye, let customers know blow dry is an added charge. I'm new to the area and not use to that. You can't just assume people know. I never thought to ask about that be an arrival charge because I've never heard of it before.

Had to go back another day for what I scheduled on that day. She said I needed to make my appt with her 2 weeks in advance. I did that at 2.5 weeks in advance. Today, she texted to push my time out later than I wanted, but I said no. She texted again trying to get me to say yes. My guess is she was tring to schedule someone else, instead of telling them no, like she told me, when I wanted 11 am. The service itself is about the same as most places. My complaint is with Hallie, the girl without respectfully priorities. Don't know how she can build and keep a happy client base this way. I'm not used to being treated as such.

My own hair is getting a bit hard to find but Liberty cuts what can be cut and shaves the rest, resulting in a neat and clean look that I appreciate. On some days of the week Liberty is the only barber working in the shop.
