I didn't actually get a chance to interact with any employees here, but I did call and ask for the price of Diesel. As of writing this review, at $2.999 a gallon, it was the cheapest price I found in the area. You don't need to go inside and interact with any attendants if you are using a Credit Card. **CAUGHT CHARGING CUSTOMERS FOR PLASTIC BAGS - NO BAGS GIVEN!!** -I bring my items to the counter -Cashier rings them up, tells me total -I run my debit card, approved -I take my items off the counter, and get ready to leave -Cashier says thank you, and calls "Next customer." BUT I thought I saw the card machine flash "Large Plastic Bag" on the screen. So I say "wait, I want the receipt". He suddenly pulls my items out of my hands, bags them, then rips off receipt and hands to me. I called him out, "Ohhhh you charged me a bag huh???" He goes "yeah, yeah, yeah" looks away shamefully. I'd avoid! I'd give minus stars if I could. It sounds like a lot of yelp reviews are about the same thing. This place is shady! Came in for some wine. There was no price on the bottle so they rang it up it said $15.99 but the guy working there told the other guy to change it to $19.99! I said no it rang up as $15.99, he said no other wines in the area are $19.99. I said yeah because they are different wines. He continued to argue that it was the same wine even though it's literally a different wine. I pointed out their bad reviews on yelp and said maybe this is why. This is a smaller 76 that has 8 pumps in total. You can pay directly at the pump with all major credit cards and you can by mobile with their app as well. There is a shop attached to it which mostly consists of light snacks and refrigerated drinks. Just be mindful that you can only enter and exit the gas station if you're going SE on North 1st or SW on E Brokaw. read more

The cash register rang my items up for $3.46 and yet the cashier verbally charged me $3.50. I gave him a $20 from which he gave me $15 dollars in change....ahhh I know basic math! He eventually gave me what I was owed. Anyone who visits here be warned because there is an attendant trying to rip you off. Horrible! read more

they have a propane service and I brought my BBQ propane tank for a refill. The tank was completely dry and they added 4 gallons and called it "full" and then proceeded to charge me for 5 gallons! I did not catch this until I got home. Be very careful with these guys. **Update** I called the station and left a message and much to my surprise the owner called me and explained that I'd really received 4.6 gallons but their register does not allow for fractional entries like this today. He offered me a credit and told me he was going to fix the root issue with the cash register. I'm quite pleased now. It's rare to see a business jump on a problem like this. Now I'm a fan. read more

Some of the faster pumps out there, which is important when needing to quickly return the rent a car before going to the airport. It can be a little busy, which is probably due to the many loyal customers returning to grab their favorite lotto tickets or refreshment from the recently renovated food mart. I was staying the Hyatt right next to this gas station. I was getting snacks for my plane ride home and I noticed this 5 cent charge for every item. I look at the receipt and they charge 5 cents for every item you get with a description "no tax sales tax." I look down at the tax and there is tax on it. I wouldn't recommend this gas station. read more

I work at a tec building next door to this gas station. They over charge for everything in there shop. I'm not sure if it's even legal at this point. I purchased a can of Pringles chips and they where almost $5 alone. They also charge you 25cents for a bag even when you didn't take one. I will only go to this place only if I have to. It is next to a sketchy hotel and airport so I guess it's no wonder it's more expensive? I'm not sure. Should be investigated. read more

Shadiest gas station ever. I frequently visit this location because I own a business down the street, and they have a large convenience store/food mart filled with unhealthy snacks and alcohol that I enjoy consuming daily. One night, I came here to purchase some drinks that totaled to $8 and some change. I handed the cashier, an older Indian man, a $100 bill. He handed me back my change - a dollar bill and some coins. I looked at the money, and explained to him that I had given him a $100 and he was $90 short. "Are you sure?", he asked me. "Are you sure you gave me a $100?" Of course I was sure. I showed him the other $100s I had in my wallet, and explained that it was the smallest bill I had. I also pointed out that the bill I had given him was the only $100 in his register, which I noticed when he placed it inside. He reluctantly opened his register, and handed me $90. When I later relayed the story to a friend, he mentioned that the same thing had happened to him with that cashier with a $50 bill. I would highly suggest you double check your change and are aware of how much money you're giving the cashier if you must go to this gas station. I can only imagine how many people he's deceived of their change who aren't as cognizant of their cash. read more

Be Aware!!! I had gone in to purchase 2 items, cigarettes and an energy drink. It came out to 15.09, without thinking I paid and left (they don't ask if you want receipt or offer it at the end of the transaction). I went back after my shift to question the transaction and the attendant that helped me earlier said it was not possible as too much time had elapsed (I guess that means they do not retain transaction information as all businesses are required to do by law). Filed a claim with my bank and now currently locating all other transactions I am able to for them to investigate them as well. Went in today (2 days later) and wanted to see the price of the 2 items, it was $2.00 less than previous days transaction. The same attendant was working and offered to pay for me, as I pretended to not have a form of payment, and went directly to my bank to file a claim. They are nice, but apparently some are only nice because they are stealing from you. Unethical. read more

DONT GO TO THIS GAS STATION! GOT SCAMMED THERE! On April 3rd at 6:15 am, I got scammed at this gas station. I paid 45$ in cash with 3 20$ bills and after one minute the employee came to my car and instited, that i had given him a fake bill. He showed me a fake bill and insisted that i would give him another bill and gave me the fake bill back. The interesting thing about that is that i've got these 20$ bills from Wells Fargo, so i'm assuming that they are real. Several attempts to contact/call the manager failed. The employee, who are working at night, old indian man, was REALLY poor manner. He asked me passport over and over time and even he got my passport number. I don't know why I do that. They sell propane - but be prepared to be cheated. The last time I came in, I brought in two five gallon tanks for propane. They managed somehow to put 11 gallons in - so they said - when most everyone else can only manage 4.5 or 4.6 gallons into a five gallon tank. I called them on it, and they charged me for 10 gallons. This time, I brought the same two tanks in, and they managed to put 9.1 gallons in. They went inside and charged me for 10 gallons. I even brought the attendant on duty back out, showed him that the filling gauge still read 9.1, and he tried to make excuses. Buy it here if you must, be be prepared to be cheated at the register. read more

I was driving around all day from SJ to PA to SC 60 miles round trip, 88 degrees F, car was running fine I've been driving for 20 years, then I had to go to Milpitas so I needed more gas, this place was on the way, after I got $30 of 87 gas at $3.89/gal, same price as chevron a block away that i passed but figured i didn't want to drive back to there, my car was hesitating from start and sputtering in upper rpms, took way longer than usual to get from 60mph to 70mph, never had gas from a one gas station have that much of a negative effect, I had mobile 91 gas from LA give me %11 better mpg than my previous tank full one time on my way to SD from SJ in an Acura TL, I have an 4wd Nissan pathfinder with a 3.3l v6 4speed auto, fresh fluids in crankcase, trans, transfer front and rear dif, 30" diameter tires, 4.36:1 axle ratio with low 8:1 compression ratio, perfect configuration for low octane fuel, this thing has always used 87 and has never been affected this much by any gas, always runs smooth and predictable, now my car runs like crap, can't imagine how it would run if i put some in a newer expensive high compression direct injection motor, I wouldn't use this gas in a lawn mower, now i need to drain every drop of this waste of money whatever it is that they pass off as gas from my car. read more

My car was overheating in the area, and I stopped by to let it cool down and buy some coolant, etc. I was expecting to get the cold shoulder from these people because I wasn't about to pay a billion dollars to get my car serviced without trying some options on my own first, but that is the opposite of what I got. The head mechanic there was so friendly and helpful. He had me pull my car in, and he checked the fluids for me after it cooled down (since I am a girl who is retarded when it comes to this stuff). He even tested for leaks in the coolant system and just charged me for the fluids he had to add (I hadn't changed my oil in hella long which caused the coolant to deplete and the car to overheat). Everyone who worked there was friendly and professional, more than any other gas station I have been to. Another customer was there and agreed that the man who helped me was the best and this was his favorite gas station because of the staff. If I lived closer, I would always come to this location. I will consider coming here if I need work on my car though, because the staff are friendly and honest, which is rare with auto repair I have come to find. read more

I was pretty much robbed by this station just now. I had just left the airport and was returning a rental car. I only had give the car back with a specific amount of gas in the tank, and I had not used much. I tried to pay at the pump with my WORK CARD that has PLENTY of money on it. The machine asked me to enter the billing zip code twice, which I did correctly both times. The pump said to "see the cashier". This was upsetting because there were 2 guys wandering the parking lot with hoods covering their faces. Since someone else drove up, I went ahead inside. The tank was about 3/4 full. I looked to see which pump I was at and asked the cashier for $5 on that pump and he told me to swipe the card which I did. Then he said "So $45 right?" I quickly said no and told him the tank was almost full and to be safe, I asked him to put $8. When I filled up the tank, I locked myself in the car due to the vagrants in the parking lot. When the pump stopped, the cashier (according to the receipt his name is Jarmail) had gone ahead and decided to make it $10. I know that a $2 difference is not much. The point is that it's MY hard earned money and not his to take. I would never go here again not recommend it. Regardless of how small the amount of money was that I got ripped off for, it's still not right. And I returned a rental car with more gas in it than it had when I got it. read more
