Temporarily they were allowing self serve, which most everyone chose. I never understood that. In every other aspect of our lives, people want service. They order fast food, go through a drive through rather than going inside. Sometimes too lazy to drive so have it picked up by Uber And pay a fee. They order groceries for pick up. Yet when it comes to gas, they want to stand out in the heat or cold or wind and pump their own gas? Just don't get it. While I don't order delivery or go to drive throughs, preferring to cook or eat at non fast food places, I happily let the gentleman at the station pump my gas! Even happier to get 20 cents off per gallon because of my points. I'm happy to live in a state where people pump my gas for me! I'm from NJ originally, where they also provide this service. Actually have never lived anywhere that didn't provide this service, it that it's one of my requirements! But I like it. The experiemce here was great. Not sure why they all seem to be going the way of the Dodo bird (thanks Gramps), but for those of you that enjoy a clean cement stall, with brushes and wands that work and water pressure that is good, then I've got the spot for you. Relatively hidden, yet not too far from some main roads, rests the green face of Sparkle. Five big clean stalls, with working gear, the usual washing choices (soapy brush, anyone?) and lots of water pressure make washing a snap. Their parking lot is a little tight, not sure how something really big would get thru, but there are some nice drying spots behind the wash stalls for the rest of us. The overall space is clean and uncluttered and the neighbourhood offers lots of street parking. READER: (thinking) It seems like he really likes the place, I wonder why he only gave them four stars.
