Ray's Window Cleaning did a good job with the actual cleaning -- the panels look great and are definitely reflecting the sun again. The service tech, very friendly, also kept me updated when he was running late, which I appreciated. That said, the overall experience was a little mixed. When he arrived, I was surprised to find him in my backyard rather than coming to the front door first. I was also told cleaning my 25-27 solar panels would take about 45 minutes, but the job ended up taking closer to 2-2.5 hours. Def messed up my Saturday evening plans. There was also a safety issue while he was on the roof. His ladder was slipping on my shingle roof, and he had to call a coworker to help him get down safely. I do appreciate that he took safety seriously, but it was still a bit concerning as a customer. For the inconvenience, he said he would charge me $200, which was only $1 less than the price I had been offered the day before by the door-to-door representative. Overall, the panels look really great and the cleaning itself was good, but the communication, timing, safety concern, and pricing left me feeling like this was a 3-star experience.

They're extremely thorough, even to the point of looking at which way the water and sludge from the roof is going to go and letting neighbors know that if any gets on their house and yard he'll clean that up, too. Then, when we had work done re-stuccoing a perimeter wall and the worker left the grounds messy, Frank came back out and cleaned it up as good as new. I am a builder and I build custom homes and have used this company to clean my windows after the completion of a new project. I scheduled the appointment a week in advance because my home was about to be listed for sale. The crew arrived more than an hour late with only two people and then had to immediately leave and return 3 hours later with additional workers. Mind you I had told them how many windows they were and they have already cleaned this Home two previous times, but fine. They eventually cleaned the windows using the wrong water tank. Instead of soft water, they used an empty tank with hard water, leaving spotting across every window in my home. The company acknowledged the mistake and promised to correct it. They returned two days later, after several phone calls, but completed only about 25%. The weekend passed, and although an employee called the following Monday to say they had not forgotten about me, another full day went by without anyone actually scheduling the remaining work. At this point, a week has passed since the original appointment. I texted the company and asked for a refund for the unfinished portion of the job. I also asked them not to continue calling me. Between arriving late, initially sending an insufficient crew, damaging the appearance of every window with hard-water spotting, and now requiring what would have been a third visit to complete one job, I could no longer wait, especially with the house about to go on the market. What happened next was the most disturbing part. Rather than having the owner contact me, apologize, and issue a refund, the company had the employee call and text me, saying the mistake was "on him" and that he would be fired if I did not allow him to return and finish the work. I ultimately told the employee to keep the money because I was not going to participate in an owner placing that kind of pressure on an employee over a legitimate mistake. Mistakes happen. Using the wrong tank happens, but it could have been resolved my prioritizing mistakes and making them right. Failing to prioritize the correction, and then making the employee's job contingent upon my allowing yet another visit, was completely unacceptable. After being a repeat customer for years, I will never use this company again.

I found Davis Window Cleaning after searching through several local community Facebook groups and…read morelooking for a pattern: Who was consistently and repeatedly recommended by people who had actually used them? Tom Davis of Davis Window Cleaning kept coming up again and again, and now I completely understand why. I contacted Tom via text, and he responded promptly with a very reasonable quote for a remarkably thorough scope of work: all of our windows cleaned and detailed inside and out, tracks vacuumed and cleaned, screens washed, windowsills wiped down, vinyl window frames cleaned, and even the exterior of our garage door window. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Tom showed up on time, was courteous and professional, and he and his team were incredibly careful with our windows and screens. I watched them meticulously clean each window and then go back and check their work multiple times before they were satisfied that everything was spotless. Considering the number of windows we have and the level of detail they put into the job, they were also impressively efficient. They even took the time to clean our security cameras (which definitely needed it and without us asking). It was one of those small things that really demonstrated how much pride they take in their work. What I especially appreciate is that Davis Window Cleaning is independently and locally owned and operated. I've received quotes from larger, private-equity-owned home service companies for as much as 2.5 times what Tom charged, without any reason to believe I'd receive better service. Davis Window Cleaning hits that sweet spot: established and professional, while still providing the attention to detail, accountability, competitive pricing, and personal service you hope to get from a great local business. It's obvious that Tom genuinely cares about doing excellent work and delivering real value to his customers. Our windows look fantastic, the price was extremely fair, and the entire experience was easy from beginning to end. We will absolutely be using Davis Window Cleaning again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I'm spreading the word with my neighbors in an effort to show my appreciation for his price & work. Do not do it yourself, schedule Davis Windows and get it done right. An extra thank you to Tom for the effort to move me up his calendar so I can host my guests with a lot more pride...what a kind gesture and it meant so much to me!
