I got out & looked, and noticed a broken rod hanging next to the drivers side tire of our GMC Acadia. We SLOWLY drove to Parsons, HOPING they would be open on the Saturday of July 4th weekend.... Lucky for us, they were. And they fit us in right away since we were trying to get home. They quickly diagnosed the issue. The Service Advisor, Ashley, brought me out to the service floor & showed me the damage- Broken driver's side sway bar, plus I would need to replace the sway link AND Driver CV Axle. What was I going to do? I had to get home. It was a holiday weekend, I'm from out of state, and I HAD to get home. They could pretty much charge me whatever they wanted, because I was stuck. They basically had me bent over a barrel...... But here's the thing- They didn't try to take advantage of the situation! Ashley and the service tech told me that although they COULD fix it, they wouldn't be able to get parts until Tuesday. They also were upfront & honest and told me that although it is important that everything is repaired as soon as possible, I WOULD be able to drive home to Illinois SAFELY and have everything fixed there. PLUS, they gave me a parts quote with the replacement part numbers to make everything easier when we got back. I was thrilled just to hear that I was able to drive the car home. They were fast, friendly, & HONEST. And when they handed me the paperwork & my keys, I asked them what I owed- "Nothing. Just drive safe" was their answer. THANK YOU ASHLEY! YOU PARSONS OF EAGLE RIVER! The whole thing took you less than 20 minutes, but I will remember this for a lifetime.

There were a few other repairs I had requested before buying, one being the trim strip on the drivers side door, not sure what they did, but it is already coming off, again, not even a month that I have had the truck.

I call the closest chevy dealer that turned out to be Lindwall in Iron River, MI. It's Saturday and they are closing in one hour. I cannot possibly tell how great they were to me. The service manager told me he would do everything he could to fix my problem despite all the mechanics being gone for the holiday. Turned out, a mechanic was willing to come in and help me. I arrived with only 10 minutes before closing. The mechanic figured out the problem quickly, fixed it and had me back on the road in 20 minutes. They were so kind they were even refusing to charge me. I of course paid them something. The mechanic even gave me his home number in case my truck acted up again and I needed help when the business was closed. This dealership is unbelievable. Although I live 200 miles away in another state, I'm seriously thinking about buying my next suburban from them. So impressed....and trust me, I'm a pretty tough judge of people!

Saturday morning when leaving the hotel to drive to the ski hill about 8:30AM, the temperature was negative 11. I had a check engine light and noticed other electrical lights on the dash and was getting no power from the engine. I drove to O'Reilly for them to check the problem and was lucky enough that Jeff from Muff-Ex happened to come into the store when O'Reilly staff and I were discussing a tow company. Jeff asked to see the codes and said he had an idea of what was wrong and how to fix it. So, with a plan, I left my key, we exchanged phone numbers, and my sister came back from the ski hill to give me a lift. I was able to ski, pray about the situation, and wait for my husband at home or me at the hill to receive a call about the fix. By 11:30 AM, my husband received a call letting us know the problem was solved and I could pick up my key and van at O'Reilly. Luckily, I did not need a tow company. Jeff gave an out of town stranger great customer service! I do not usually write reviews but offered to this out of gratitude for the exceptional customer service I experienced. I highly recommend if you need the services of Muff-Ex give them a call. Catherine K.
