Probably going to be one of my questionably 5-star reviews, but whatever - these are without doubt the best fitting jeans I've ever bought.
To qualify: I really like slimmer fit jeans. Thanks to years of contact sports, I don't have oboe legs or a thigh gap so the jeans that I try on that do get past my calves often get stuck at my quads. To qualify further, I try to find interestingly coloured jeans wherever possible (although no red ones. Das ist verboten). I wish I could illustrate this with a Venn diagram, but it's summed up nicely by 'nigh on impossible'. 7, however, tick these boxes rather nicely - I've got two pairs from here (light grey which I bought a few years ago, and a camo-ish green pair of 'Chad's which I bought around Christmas) and their catalogue offer a nice range of non-blues. Not only that, they're super comfortable - the cotton is pretty soft, and they're a little stretchy and feel really nice on the skin.
The biggest drawback is the price tag - my jeans are £180 RRP which is about 3x what I would've considered paying for jeans a couple of years ago. However, I got both of mine in sales (the latest pair at 50 % off which is pretty palatable seeing how much I like these jeans), and really, they're pretty worth it. I think, if I had the funds, I would consider buying full price, given that I just don't come across well-fitting jeans that often.
This is my first real brush with higher-end jeans, but I was pleasantly surprised that the shop offers free repairs - I took mine in on a Saturday and they were ready to collect the following Wednesday. The repair's not the most picturesque, but it was a giant crotch blowout which I may have neglected to get repaired sooner (and, as I have just discovered, extends quite far up my left bumcheek), so I'm pretty happy with how it's been patched up.
The staff here have been really helpful every time I've been, so no complaints there. The selection isn't the biggest as the store itself is pretty space limited, but I've found something interesting each time I've been in. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'mma go on their website and try not to buy anything (it's currently sale time...). read more
