This review, I felt was very much needed after reading various reports previously condemning Massimo Dutti's returns process and their customer service.
Whilst I appreciate people have varying reasons for having a 'bad experience' the returns process I found both clear and concise having used it in the past couple of days. Two items from a 7 item order were too big and therefore re-ordered separately whilst returning the two I held. There are various options for returns, store, home collection or post office return. I opted for the post office return as it is the most convenient (As I do not live in viable distance to a store or live in an advantageous geographic location for home collections, countryside problems!) I packaged the items up, sealed, requested a returns label from the Massimo Dutti website, printed this, attached and presented the parcel over the counter. I retained the tracking receipt and within two days I received an email from Massimo saying they had received my return, it had been accepted and a refund had been issued; within 24 hours the funds had returned to my debit card!
How this can be any simpler, I don't know! All I wanted to clarify is that if you have any reservations in using this retailer, then simply set those thoughts aside because the quality, customer service and overall experience is great! I've bought, returned and visited their Spanish stores for the past 7 years and never, ever had an issue.
A fantastic, quality brand who continue to listen, evolve and better their services.
