If you're able to dole out around £50 per item of clothing then this shop is definitely worth a peek.

I have found so many amazing and cheap things in Primark that I always return for more. Once you see a Primark you can't not go in. Well that is the case with me, anyways. They do not help with clothing over load. I am going to have to have a clear out pretty soon. This Primark in Peckham however, is pretty poor. They don't have a very good selection of items at all. A lot of basic T-shirts and jumpers, but none of the exciting products you may find in the other stores. Stil pretty darn cheap. Good if you live where I do and need an emergency item of clothing. Not good for dresses. Primark do have nice dresses but this one never seems to stock any of them. If you really want a Primark fix then don't count on this place. Try the Oxford street one, even though it gets hellishly busy, if you go at a very late or very early hour you might end up having a satisfying browse.

But for some reason I cannot get excited by it. Maybe it is that the shop is rather too polished making it feel more like a high street shop trying to be a boutique. I would not however, rule out Petals. I am an immensely fussy shopper but there is still something about it that appeals to me. The clothes are after all well priced and stylish. Make up your own mind if you ever get the chance to pop into Petals.

Still, the Topshop here stocks a big enough range of women's clothing, denim lingerie, accessories and the petite and tall ranges too. You won't find any concessions here. For that, you'll have to go to the Oxford Circus store, although you can find some vintage at the High Street Kensington branch as well. Anyway, despite its small size, this place still looks bright and spacious and not at all untidy. The changing rooms were impressively big. There're even couches outside for people to wait. I find Topshop staff are generally nice and friendly. I tend to joke with cashiers about my purchases. This time, it was about how I'd probably regret buying an Americana crop top. The cashier started off by telling me I could return it, and then confessed she loved that print as well and how the flagship store had loads of these if I wanted more. Always nice to find a kindred soul!

Beautiful silver, semi precious stones and beads are everywhere you look and affordably priced for what you are getting. On top of that, they sell cosmetics, soaps, boho style clothes, pretty underwear, notebooks, bags, mugs and cards. It is a gift shop selling everything on the market. As long as you do not feel overwhelmed, it is possible to find some real treasures in here.

I found a Rose and Lavender candle that smelled divine. I flipped it over to look at the price and I got brought back to reality really quick - it was £4.50. OK, so I am a cheapskate, I admit, but still, I'm not into spending a fiver on a stupid candle that's going to burn into nothingness in the long run. Ignoring my reservations, I held onto it while I perused what the rest of the shop had to offer. It had cute little knick knacks of all sorts - cards, lipstick holds, keychains, purses. I took a photo of the jewellery display. Then I went to the back of the shop and found loads of overpriced ugly clothes that only a wicked witch or a sexless spinster would wear and I took a picture of them. 'Excuse me, no more pictures please!' said a woman behind the counter that I did not even recognise existed until that very moment because she did not bother to greet me when I came into the store as she was picking her cuticles and developing blisters on her buttocks from sitting on her ass for so long embracing indolence with all of her being. I was annoyed to say the least. Like seriously, why can't I take pictures? Do you have a black magic banshee kickin' it behind the trouser section or something? I put my candle back and sprinted out of the shop. She could stuff it.

I find the clothing shop in contrast rather dull and uninspiring. I must admit, most everything in this store is pricey. Don't think you're going to buy a really amazing lamp in here for under twenty quid, you better bring some dough. If you're into really inventive and stylish home décor and you're willing to spend £50 on a really nice piece then have a look in this store. You will be impressed.
