Not quite what you'd imagine…read more.. Yes this is a convenient store though it's nothing like what you'd find in Japan at all in fact really sad. You won't find much hot food at all majority are cold and yes it's filled with various snacks, candies, instant cup noodles and drinks but that's about it. I may be reviewing a different location than what I'd think as I'm not familiar with the address but know that they're all basically the same and doesn't offer the crazy variety that we're all used to BUT we found out that they do sell "Octopus Card" similar to a Suica Card used in Japan this is what they use in Hong Kong to board the ferry and even make purchases in shops as well. You're charged a fee and minimum to add is 50HK which is quite a lot but the convenience versus purchasing at the ferry terminal is quite convenient for sure. The staff does speak little English though wasn't the friendlies the vibe here is basic and so are the selections. Thank you!

We had a very unpleasant experience at this 7-Eleven late at night…read more When we arrived, a customer before us was repeatedly going back and forth to the counter picking more items before finally being asked to pay. After her purchase was packed, we placed our items on the counter to be checked out. While the cashier was scanning, I noticed that he charged us twice for the same bottled water. I politely told him, "Our water is only one, please remove the other one." To my surprise, instead of correcting just that one item, he voided the entire transaction, scanned only the water, and then just stared at us in silence for several seconds. It was very awkward. I had to clarify and say, "We're taking all the other items too," while pointing at them before he finally moved and scanned everything properly. When the total was shown, my partner took out cash to pay. The cashier rushed and grabbed the bill directly from my partner's hand, and when giving the change, he practically shoved it back at us. Overall, the service felt rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional. This was not the first unpleasant experience we've had in a Hong Kong 7-Eleven, which makes us wonder--are all 7-Eleven cashiers here lacking basic manners?

It wasn't too sweet. The hot foods include fish balls, sausage, shumai, tofu, and udon.
