My favorite thing to do was to run in and grab some shrimp dim sum and have them microwave it and snack on the go. Of course they don't really have big gulps the size that they are in the US but what they have is adequate. Another thing that they shine on is there alcohol selection. I was extremely pleased to find pre-mixed Jack and cokes over 8,000 miles away from its home in lynchfield. And even better yet, they're on sale! It's difficult to find these pre-mixed Jack and cokes in Hawaii but it was a welcome surprise to find them in Hong Kong. I love them. Anyway, if you need a snack on the go, definitely check out a 7-Eleven store. They are everywhere!

The supermarket is on the second floor so you have to head up an escalator. The store is different as it has an in and out/circular layout. You enter from one part of the store, go through the grocery aisles and exit from a different end of the store after checking out. It is not the biggest store in terms of selection, but it will do if you live in the area. Aisles are on the small side. At the entrance of the store you will find produce. Grocery aisles are further into the store. As you make your way out, you will find their selection of coffee & tea, bottled drinks and candy aisles. They also have a selection of Japanese goods here. When checking out, make sure to have a bag or a cart on hand for any goods you buy here as they don't seem to supply any. PARKnSHOP is an okay grocery store. The store is a bit small and not as modern as those mall supermarkets. But you will certainly save money here on your daily grocery needs.

I enjoy coming to this location right off the Kowloon Tong MTR station inside Festival Walk shopping mall. There are no seats to eat inside the market but feel free to bring all your goods upstairs to the food court where you can enjoy them instead. There are sections for Japanese snacks, wine, and other imported products for those who want something different. The line is usually long but moves pretty fast, especially if you're paying via Octopus. Overall a nice market with several unique options.

This would be the place to go if you are an ex-pat looking for foods from home, particularly from the US and Europe. This location is on the second floor of New Town Plaza Phase 1. Being from the US, this store does not quite appeal as much to me, but just checked it due to curiousity. The prices on the US goods were understandably high. But they do carry some interesting items. Particularly those from Europe that make me want to grab them here since I wouldn't be able to find them back in the US. There are also a few food stands here selling some interesting fare. There is a stand selling matcha desserts for instance. While perusing I came across a fridge full of freshly squeezed juices that I thought was cool. Grabbed a bottle of guava and passion fruit juice for HK$24. Not the cheapest place, but the bottle design was interesting and I needed some refreshment. If you get it, be sure to drink it quickly as fresh juices don't last for long. If you happen to be at New Town Plaza, city'super is worth perusing through. Interesting products found here, albeit at higher prices than elsewhere.

The "Whole Foods" (United States, upscale super market) in Hong Kong. I've spent hours here walking…read morearound looking at all the unique food's and goods that they have to offer. I walked out of here with a nice bottle of vintage Bordeaux, cured meats and toy's for the kids. One stop shop and the service here is impeccable, I had an issue with waiting in line with my grocery and did not have enough hands to push my kid's stroller thru the line with me, I had asked if someone can help me and one of the grocery helpers told me that they can stand next to the stroller with my kids while I finish paying and check out.
