**this is a continuation of reviews i have posted at cvs and walgreens, skip to last paragraph to…read moreread about only wawa" does no one need to use the restroom after dark? why is this a "thing" in woodbridge? i went into this store and a cvs (which i have already left a review for) while i was traveling with my infant. i'm a young mom, and traveling alone with my infant is scary, let alone the standstill traffic on 95 in the middle of the night. my gps took me on a detour and i ended up on this road. i saw a cvs sign and on their window it said open til midnight. i went in and looked for the restrooms and nothing. i walked up to the pharmacy and asked her and she told me i'd have to go back up front and ask.... what? do you have one or not? anyways i went back up there and the gentleman was checking people out in self checkout.... sir, it's a SELF checkout. if you don't trust people then turn them off and check people out yourself. he was halfway through the group of guests in front of me when he looked at me and said something intelligible and i asked him to repeat himself. he said "what do you need" i responded "do you have a restroom" to which he responded, "it's out of order." do the people in woodbridge not use the restroom after dark? you're telling me after dusk there's no restroom? that RIDICULOUS. i turned around and put my child back in her car seat and we headed onward. at this point it's well past 10. i saw a walgreens and thought to myself they HAVE to have a restroom. well i walked in the doors and i was greeted by a friendly woman and i asked her if they had a restroom. she responded with "it's closed at night" HOW DO PEOPLE SURVIVE IN WOODBRIDGE?!? i would've been more than happy to buy something to use the restroom, but it wasn't even an option. i won't be returning to either location if my life depended on it. so after a LONG search for a restroom, i called my family and asked them to look around on the map for me, they told me there was a wawa here and i was finally going to be able to use the restroom. i pull up (around 10:45pm) and it's dark, but it's to be expected. it was fairly well lit. i pull up to the spot closest to the door and i see a man walking up, i assume he's walking inside, so i get out of my car to get my kid out of the car and he stops. he bends down as if to pick something up, and starts speaking to me. "ma'am! maam!" i quickly grab my kid and rush inside. he doesn't follow me. once inside i set off my car alarm to scare him off hopefully. i go inside do my buisness and i walked up to a woman stocking tea, i explained what happened and that i'm a nervous mess to go outside. she hardly even let me ask her to go outside with me! she was so sweet and didn't even bat an eye when i asked her. she came out with me, i said i didn't see him, but she waiting outside my car for me to put my kid in the car and asked me if i was okay now, i responded with yes, and on we went. i didn't catch her name but she was probably around mid 40's i think (i have a horrible time at telling ages) and she was wearing a black shirt last night. whoever her boss is, give that woman a raise!! and ma'am, whoever you are, thank you. it meant so much to my family, my daughter, and especially me. being in an unfamiliar place with a small child is scary and you're amazing

Their behavior, specifically how they look at women, comes across as harassing rather than helpful. It makes for a very rude and unwelcome which detracts from an otherwise clean store.

Their work is always reasonably priced. They have helped us out on so many occasions and so many different family vehicles. I am so glad we were referred to them.

This is a well illuminated, clear line of sight place to pump up. I recommend this to single folks/vulnerable, as the area is facing more violent criminals than years prior. Here is a recommended place for safety. It's certainly got a lot of room to maneuver as well. One of the cleanest gas stations I've been to. The bathroom in here is surprisingly nice. Also they have a lot of snacks and beverages. This is close to many area attractions. By all means pull in here and take care of business. Friendly employees and a comfortable environment.

I never have problems with too many carts or not enough room in the aisle to go both ways. If I know I am looking for something specific, I know to go to this spot. It has more space so shelves are pretty well stocked. Other ones are not as large, so stocking may happen during busy times and things just aren't out. I've asked questions at this location and they always help me or look it up on the computer to give me an estimated date it will be back. The card section is large, they always have soup. This one has a great beauty care section as well. If I have the extra 20 mins, I always come to this location! Keep up the great work.

Thankfully this store was open during the aftermath. After spending an hour and a half digging out, I managed to limp over here and buy food. The deli wasn't open I'm sure because of the lack of employees who could make it into work, but they still had several wraps and ready-made sandwiches. I bought three wraps and three Italian style sandwiches for the two of us. Add to that a gallon of milk, a box of Nutri Grain cereal, and several more boxes of Nature's Own breakfast bars and I was pretty much set. I also got some Florida Oranges and some microwave popcorn which should hold us over for the next two days or so. There weren't too many employees or customers, and that was fine, I found everything that I needed. I was just glad that they were open.

It was an older style store in a somewhat questionable area of Woodbridge. Never saw one nice, genuine smile on any employee. I got my product fairly quick and went to check out. I chose this poor old lady who cracked a forced smile, but it seemed that she worked there for a certain reason. She seemed like she was trying her hardest. What almost made me walk straight out was this: Older Cashier Lady: "Hey Sarah, can you override a product for me." Manager: "Ha! (Lucy) did you hear THAT? This fool thinks my name is Sarah! Say my name! It's Sharice!" I may be getting the names mixed up, but you get the message, right? It is unacceptable! Let's just say I have no interest in going back! A manager has NO right to be rude and condensing to a poor elder working her butt off. Everyone forgets names more than once. So what? There is NO excuse for the manager to act the way she did in front of other customers! I wouldn't recommend this place, as I don't see success in the management team.

I am little torn on two or three stars here. This is why:…read more The good, for me, convenient location. The gas is the cheapest for a name brand gas. Some of the smaller no name shops have cheaper gas when paying with cash but my car always runs like crap after filling up. Not the case here. The gas is affordable comparatively and my car runs fine. Also, it has convenient store with okay prices. The bad... I checked in on Foursquare and got a notification for a $5 gift card when filling up over $25. I pumped $54 of gas and the cashier refused to do anything. He was an Indian (I have nothing against Indian's... other than I cannot cook that delicious food) and his English was not the best. Basically he said he had no idea what we were talking about and to take our receipt and email the company. He wasn't rude, just uninformed and seemed as though he was using the language barrier as an excuse. Finally, as we were leaving, he asked what app it was again so he too could get deals. I told him as I have no issues with others getting deal, but I was really upset that he was so uninformed. I understand not everything gets filtered down and he may honestly have had no idea. That, or he was saving the company money. Either way, that's $5 I'm out. Still the best deal around for gas along journey to and fro work.

The Speedway in Annandale, VA was once upon a time a bustling, diverse, family oriented business…read morethat was built by a super caring general manager who recently retired. He grew his team of associates one painstaking right step at a time. Team members went above and beyond to recognise you by your first name, and often times, remembered things like my favourite coffee creamer and milestones related to my recovery journey and my birthday. The general manager has long since retired. A young, bright man worked tirelessly in his place to keep the family feeling going. He was promoted within the ranks, and in his place came a new GM and a handful of staff members that arrived with him. Speedway is no longer my first stop before I begin my workday. Sadly, the morale and professionalism I once appreciated are no longer. Little care is devoted to cleanliness. Items are often out of stock. Gone are the welcomes by first name and exceeding of expectations. My past two encounters with a newer associate left me feeling defeated, a bit saddened, and accepting that the Speedway of yesteryears is gone. In its place is a shell of its former kindness and glory.
