**this is a continuation of reviews i have posted at cvs and walgreens, skip to last paragraph to read about only wawa" does no one need to use the restroom after dark? why is this a "thing" in woodbridge? i went into this store and a cvs (which i have already left a review for) while i was traveling with my infant. i'm a young mom, and traveling alone with my infant is scary, let alone the standstill traffic on 95 in the middle of the night. my gps took me on a detour and i ended up on this road. i saw a cvs sign and on their window it said open til midnight. i went in and looked for the restrooms and nothing. i walked up to the pharmacy and asked her and she told me i'd have to go back up front and ask.... what? do you have one or not? anyways i went back up there and the gentleman was checking people out in self checkout.... sir, it's a SELF checkout. if you don't trust people then turn them off and check people out yourself. he was halfway through the group of guests in front of me when he looked at me and said something intelligible and i asked him to repeat himself. he said "what do you need" i responded "do you have a restroom" to which he responded, "it's out of order." do the people in woodbridge not use the restroom after dark? you're telling me after dusk there's no restroom? that RIDICULOUS. i turned around and put my child back in her car seat and we headed onward. at this point it's well past 10. i saw a walgreens and thought to myself they HAVE to have a restroom. well i walked in the doors and i was greeted by a friendly woman and i asked her if they had a restroom. she responded with "it's closed at night" HOW DO PEOPLE SURVIVE IN WOODBRIDGE?!? i would've been more than happy to buy something to use the restroom, but it wasn't even an option. i won't be returning to either location if my life depended on it. so after a LONG search for a restroom, i called my family and asked them to look around on the map for me, they told me there was a wawa here and i was finally going to be able to use the restroom. i pull up (around 10:45pm) and it's dark, but it's to be expected. it was fairly well lit. i pull up to the spot closest to the door and i see a man walking up, i assume he's walking inside, so i get out of my car to get my kid out of the car and he stops. he bends down as if to pick something up, and starts speaking to me. "ma'am! maam!" i quickly grab my kid and rush inside. he doesn't follow me. once inside i set off my car alarm to scare him off hopefully. i go inside do my buisness and i walked up to a woman stocking tea, i explained what happened and that i'm a nervous mess to go outside. she hardly even let me ask her to go outside with me! she was so sweet and didn't even bat an eye when i asked her. she came out with me, i said i didn't see him, but she waiting outside my car for me to put my kid in the car and asked me if i was okay now, i responded with yes, and on we went. i didn't catch her name but she was probably around mid 40's i think (i have a horrible time at telling ages) and she was wearing a black shirt last night. whoever her boss is, give that woman a raise!! and ma'am, whoever you are, thank you. it meant so much to my family, my daughter, and especially me. being in an unfamiliar place with a small child is scary and you're amazing read more

The nastiest men's bathroom I've seen...anywhere... in years. Absolutely disgusting toilet.

Probably the worst Wawa I've been to. First of all the kios I was at didn't have receipt paper so I couldn't receive or pay for my order. Secondly , when I got my receipt a disgruntled customer basically threatened me when I was ready to pay and ushered to the cashier. The customer the got wordy in front of the cashier and she didn't even step in and proceeded to ring him up. I felt embarrassed that it happened and felt unheard as I tried to explain. Definitely the worst experience I ever had and will never go back. I see why people call Woodbridge hoodbridge. read more

I'm writing to express my disappointment with the management at this Wawa location. While the store itself is very clean, I've had uncomfortable experiences with a manager who wears a headband. Their behavior, specifically how they look at women, comes across as harassing rather than helpful. It makes for a very rude and unwelcome which detracts from an otherwise clean store. read more

I placed an order for a sandwich, ice cream pint, and a gatorade at 9:02pm and it was supposed to be ready for pick up at 9:15pm. It took them until 9:53pm to complete the order. Absolutely ridiculous! read more

Gas prices fluctuate like crypto currency prices. The made to order food is consistently inconsistent. One awesome part of this Wawa is the Coffee is always piping hot and fresh. The staff is very friendly but can't make the same sandwich consistently. I know it's a gas station but why offer made to order food if you can't follow the protocol. I am fascinated by how inconsistent the sandwiches are I have tried the same sandwich on all shifts. Never the same. Never bad but never the same. 3 read more

Confession: This was my first time ever visiting a WaWa. Now I am from Western PA where Sheetz is King. I was always told by those from Eastern PA WaWa is "sort of like Sheetz but way better". Bottomline: I definitely think WaWa sandwiches are superior to Sheetz. Let me explain. I ordered myself a Turkey Chipotle sandwich and my son a roast turkey sandwich. I could see everything being made in front of me and it all looked fresh. It tasted as such too. I loved the chipotle sauce and it gave a nice flavor to the sandwich (or should I say hoagie). The turkey did not taste overly processed and the bread also was crusty and fresh. My son enjoyed the insides (he's not eating full meat/bread combinations yet) of the turkey and cheese and had fun feeding the ducks at Leesylvania State Park with the bread. I took our sandwiches to the beach there and everything was packaged well to be eaten on the beach. I don't pass too many WaWa locations, but I would stop in a WaWa over a Sheetz if both were nearby. read more

Wawa here is busy and awesome. It is an island, around which all cars park, with two entrances. Great sandwiches with chipotle. Piping hot coffee and sticky buns. Slushees, fruits, granola bars - they have it all! This location was refurbished and upgraded recently. Review:4 read more

I found myself in Woodbridge on a Sunday night. I barely go to virginia once a month anymore and Sunday after the craziest week I'm struggling looking for wawa to get some pumpkin coffee. I tried to go to the DD down the street but traffic was so bad I just settled for good old wawa coffee. Everything was good and clean. I actually got a steamer and it was good. Just okay, could be better. Not sure what's happened to Wawa, Starbucks and Dunkin, but their coffee is soooo weak. I used to stop at one of these places on my way to work, and my way back home, on a daily basis including weekends. About five or six years ago, something changed with their coffee. It's just so weak, even the flavored coffees don't taste like their supposed to. If you put a DROP of milk or creamer, it's so white it looks like just water and milk. I stopped going daily and now when I go, it's just to grab a sandwich or hotdog. Refuse to spend money on weak coffee. I just make it at home now. Some of the employees are friendly, majority are very stand-off ish. Especially the younger people that prep the sandwiches. I went to this wawas in Daniel Stuart shopping center yesterday. Ordered a frappe. Driving home drinking it something came up in straw. I spit it out to discover it was a piece of plastic. I was almost home ,so when I got in house I dumped drink in sink and found more even bigger pieces of plastic. I then picked them up and drove right back to wawas. Asked for a manager .Spoke to a nice asst manager who was very apologetic , she then went to get manager but manager didn't even come over to look at it or say anything to me. All she said was give her, her money back. What kind of crap is this? I have come to the conclusion I will not be going to any wawas in the near future for any food. These kids running this place do not give a crap about anything or how to take pride in their jobs! If I would have choked on these pieces of plastic what would have happened then??? read more

Stopped here on our road trip home to visit family in the Virginia Beach area. Quickly regretted it. Took my kids in for diaper changes but there was no changing station in either restroom. Not only that, the bathroom was so filthy that I didn't even want to take my kids in there. I always expect Wawa to be one of the nicest gas station stops because they always were in the past. This one, unfortunately, is like walking into an old 7-11 that hasn't been well kept. To top it all off, we were harassed by a man when we walked out who was begging for a ride and money. We will not be back. The only reason I gave 2 stars, is because the cashier was incredibly friendly and helpful! read more

I'm actually really disappointed... I reviewed about four different wawas and they all got four stars... But this one was not the wawa I once knew... I came here for a pit stop and gas... For the cheapest gas Around the area gas came out to sixty bucks...is that consider cheap? Beside that I use there restrooms...it was dirty... Wawa is know for their clean bathrooms and good service... I felt like I was at a seven eleven...they ran out of toilet paper and soap.... these are the essentials you need when your using the restroom... The whole area smelled like old mildew... Since I was here around three am I was pretty surprised there was so many people shopping here... There's two cashiers and two people working at the food station...there foods are stocked up...so theres a good amount of products...which is good...yes there is parking! read more

I love Wawa! I started working there until I finished my schooling. I missed them the 8 years I lived in the south. Their food is consistently good, the stores are clean and the service is wonderful. They need to build one in Alexandria and I would be eternally grateful! I end up getting a hoagie, peach iced tea, a Philly soft pretzel and peanut chews and I feel like I'm back home. read more

This "convenience store" has it all... - Cheapest gas outside of the membership store gas stations. - Subs way better than Subway, Quiznos, and Sheetz. - Mix of eye candy ranging from the suburban professional commuting to work to the local townie getting her Lil' Debbies. - And you can buy beer here. I love this Wawa location. The manager is cheerful and friendly, and he is always actively helping his employees. You can tell that he genuinely cares not only about the store, but about everyone there, too. He even made sure that everyone coming in knew about the upcoming Free Wawa Coffee day. The fresh food/deli (hoagies, subs, sandwiches, etc.) wait time was a bit longer than what I'm used to at Wawas, but this is a pretty busy location so it was to be expected. Everything tasted fresh and was perfectly seasoned. Unlike a lot of other convenience stores, this Wawa kept their coolers a bit chillier than normal, so our drinks and beer were very cold when we opened them at home. This is a definite perk. The only thing I would suggest that they do better is to ask the cashier to be personable. At the very least, they should say hello and maybe even ask if everything was found ok. read more

I go here once or more a week to get gas for all my vehicles as well as buy stuff from the store. The people that work here are always nice (which is weird for a convenience store). I enjoy their sandwiches and subs. Their hot dogs aren't as good as 7-11 (only because there is no cheese machine) but everything else makes up for that. They could step it up on the Icee machine. It's hard to find any of them frozen anymore. It's always hit or miss. Gas wise, I use regular for my car and supreme for my bikes and I have never had any issues. It's got the good bread. It's got the signature Wawa coffee with accompanying Wawa dairy products. It's got the Tastykakes. And it's got the gas. But compared to my northern Wawas, this one has some differences. No Herrs. Sandwich was a bit heavy on the oil and vinegar tho I asked for "a little bit". Hubby, however, did not found any discernible differences between his cheesesteak and the ones he usually gets up north. And the pretzels. Don't even get me started. They had this weird sugared glaze on them (I don't remember these on the ones I got in Philly a couple of months ago, but on my next trip up I'm going to get one to compare). Literally the worst wawa I've ever been to and unfortunately for me it's the closest and most convenient one for me to get to. I've gone to this location plenty of times to give it a chance, as I understand things can get busy and things happen. Every time I've gone here it's been nothing but a disappointment. I love my wawa coffee but 90% of the time the self serve ice coffee is out of both the mint mocha and the vanilla. The self serve hot coffee from the machine by the fresh coffee is half the time not mixed in and comes out as Just powdered. Getting a specialty coffee takes ages even when it's dead inside at the early hours of the morning. There is always guys loitering outside which I usually wouldn't care but it's actually uncomfortable. I will always love wawa though but this location is just the worst welcome to Woodbridge. The stafford location off of 610 is were it's at though that location is ALWAYS on point even when they are busiest. read more

We love this Wawa and their sandwiches/subs. We go here every two weeks or so because it's yummy, relatively clean, and convenient to home.

I've known of Wawa since it first appeared in my little Maryland suburb when I was a kid. Wawa has always been better than 7-11. But I never have seen too many around the DC area until finding this one. Wawa is great as it has a huge selection of convenience products. The issue I have against 7-11 is that getting coffee takes forever due to no milk being provided, only those little creamers. At Wawa, there are about 12 different coffees to choose from with an abundance of milk choices available. There is a sandwich shop that you order through a touch screen. By the time you pay for your order at the cashier, your food is done. Convenience stores are good because you can stop there if you're in a hurry and need something quick. Some stores don't deliver anything but overly processed junkfood. But not Wawa. It's the future. read more

Some of the cheapest gas in the area outside of COSTCO, although that can change on a daily basis. The store is always busy, due to its location and the aforementioned cheap gas. Always well-stocked, clean, good coffee and the employees are nice. read more
