So I get gas here, a lot. I'm low maintenance so never any issue till I asked for their cash back with my transaction. Today at work I put all my tip money together and I was 10 bucks shy of paying my daycare bill. I'd rather pay her tonight than Monday morning, I like paying my bills, I'm a Capricorn it gives me validation. So here I am getting gas and two candy bars bag a chips for the kids, and I ask if they do cash back. She said yes only 10. PERFECT may I please have cash back? No because you are buying gas. Okay can I do it separately Yes. Start transaction Don't TAP it you have to insert the card Oh it already tapped. So.. You have to buy something else now. I reach for pistachio candy bar No that's 20.00 I'll sell you a bag for 10cents. I said, this is really a terrible way to upsell items. I buy the bag, she then asked do I want the bag. And then do I want the gas. I said, I'll buy the gas outside and no thank you. How can you improve this scenario 7-11? This sorta got me disregulated. Location is perfect, But if you are like me and order the pizza or a hot dog , you will realize sometimes it's a hit or miss for who works ( nights) shift, the lady at night makes it good, but Tonight pizza the was burnt and tastes like it's been sitting out for a little bit, both slices. Older guy working at 7 o'clock on on June 26th. 7/11 has a whole bunch of discounts on their drinks when you put your phone number in. He seemed to not realize how it works and I ended up walking him though it and got the discount. I then gave him cash to pay for both my drinks and my gas. I then went to the pump to get gas and realized he charged me for both drinks. Either he kept it for himself or he just isn't trained and that's not on him. Went in for a coffee, got a large coffee for $2.69. The lady at the counter preceded to charge me $3.99 for the coffee. I also got 2 taquitos and asked the lady if about getting one more for the $3 deal. She preceded to tell me there is no deal on the taquitos and charged me full price for the two. In the app I double check these prices and this lady is just over charging everyone. The prices she charged me were definitely not correct. We have lived across the street from this branch for over 20 years. The GM and his wife are extremely pleasant when ever I see them. The STAFF, Hispanic Lady (11:00am 3/5/22) is extremely RUDE. After spending hundreds of dollars monthly on fuel, She rudely ask me to pay $.60 for a cup of ICE and I used my own cup. I said I'm a frequent customer for 20 years and she said you need to pay $.60 for the ICE. I went on Gas Guru and found this chain gas station offering cheapest gas in the Vista/San Marcos area (I'm always a bit wary of the local gas stations. Heard something about credit card info got stolen or something like that) so I gave this 7-Eleven a try. I drove on Palomar all the time and didn't notice the existence of a 7-11! It turns out that it's tucked at the back behind the fast food joint on Business Park Dr and Palomar, where the secret Target is. I cannot write anything about the service there as I didn't need any at the moment. The gas was really cheap. The gas station was well-lit. It is just a bit inconvenient since it's not on Palomar so you need to turn into Business Park; the left turn light there can be a bit of a wait. read more

This store is AWFUL! Its always a mess, and the staff, (well mostly the "manager" named Moji) is super RUDE! When I was in there today, he came up to the counter where another clerk was helping a woman of color, and told her to stop fighting with the clerk, or she could just get out! I entered this establishment thoughtfully and respectfully. I was immediately met with an awful stench comming from the cashier. Although body Oder is normal, you should never work at an establishment and fear for the safety of the products inside. As I walked to the slurped machine and filled up my cup. A beautiful sweet woman with an amazing energy smiled. I got my slurpe and walked to the checkout. I asked if I would be able to get my slurpe for free considering the day before was 7/11. Stopped to get gas with a pre-paid credit card. Tried at pump and told me to "see cashier". Cashier was more interested in his phone than helping me. I told him I wanted to use a pre-paid card and he said I could try at the pump. I asked if there was any way to run it inside and he again told me to try at the pump, then started to argue with me. I advised him I wasn't going to argue and left the store. He continued to yell at me on the outside speakers, saying I was acting like a child and wasn't listening to him. With gas prices on the rise, one would cringe when pulling up to a gas station at the thought of what it would cost to fill up the tank...however, tonight, I was not in need of gasoline...but instead, a mega milllion lotto ticket! Not just any mega million...I was hoping for THE winning ticket. I was willing to drop $20 in hopes of winning the jackpot valued at $355,000,000. There was no line and service was quick, although not too friendly. I don't buy gas here because it's expensive but the pumps were full.. So again, a quick fix while on Palomar Airport rd. If you buy a coffee, and you return with the same cup you will immediately be attacked and yelled at by the employees saying " NO REFILLS!!!!!!!!". If you don't want to be attacked and want another cup of coffee just throw your used cup in their garbage can, and waste another cup. I went into this 7-Eleven a few days ago to pick up a couple of snacks. When I went to pay my wife reminded me that we were going to pay with cash. We went on our way back home (Murrieta). When we got home I realized that I had lost my wallet and could not remember for the life of me where I had left it, because of course I ALWAYS put it back in my pocket...After a long night of calling around to all the places we had been to asking if they had seen anything we came up with nothing. I canceled all of my credit/debit cards as well. I was sure that where ever my wallet ended up it was long gone. Then today as I got to work I got a phone call from USAA (one of my banks) that someone had contacted them letting me know that my wallet was located at this 7-Eleven. After speaking with who I think is the manager I had to CONVINCE him to release my wallet to my wife because she will be down in that area and I work in Irvine. I appreciate the hard time that I got from him to release my wallet, and am even more appreciative that he took the time to call around to find me. All in all, it's a really crappy feeling to lose a wallet specially with a bunch of important documents within. I'm thankful that there are still decent people out there! read more

I stopped in to buy cigarettes and an older guy at the counter asked me for ID. I am 57 years old and have a brace on my leg making it hard to walk. When I told him it was in the truck he said "sorry, its the new policy" So I walked out to my truck walked back in a put my ID on the counter and it slide towards him. He got irate and started calling me "racist" and said I was priviledged just because I was white. DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT! Obviously he has a chip on his shoulder and hates white people. Came here for gas. Told the lady at the counter my card only swipes as credit. All she would say is "declined". I told her I understood but there was no button on my end to select credit. She pushed buttons and told me to swipe again and would just keep saying "declined", latterly nothing else but that word. I told her it was not my card but her system. She looked at me like I was stupid and said my card declined again. All she had to do was tell me I couldn't use the card or all she had to do was select credit on her screen. In the end she pushed a button and when I swiped the card it was approved. I wish she was more professional because she didn't even ask me if I wanted my receipt she just walked away from the counter. THERE WAS NO ONE ELSE IN THE STORE. VERY RUDE. Definitely the worst 7-Eleven in all of San Diego. As with all the other reviewers, I will not go into this store. I even own a business in this center and will drive 2-5 miles to another one on my way to and from work. The people behind the counter are rude, ignorant, and lazy. I was cussed out in Spanish today ... I am bilingual and she thought I didn't understand what she was saying. I was overcharged today and when I asked that she check the price, she just repeated the price and said "that's the price" even though I know that she was wrong. I handed her the money because I didn't want to argue and she put the change down on the counter making me have to pick up the change that she placed away from where I was standing. I refuse to go into this store again and only wish there were more ways to dissuade others from going to this 7-Eleven. Maybe then they would get serious about the necessity for good customer service. If I could give it a lower grade I would ...
