5 stars -- Great service from Karen at Wawa on N. 301 in Tampa…read more Big shout-out to Karen for being so kind and helpful to everyone. My account had been hacked, and I had forgotten to update my virtual card. I asked if I could run outside to grab my physical card from my car, which was parked at the gas pump, and she kindly said it was okay. When I came back inside, she had moved on to helping another customer, and we ended up having a few laughs. We were both buying the same item, and, feeling overly helpful, I offered to buy his item for him after he said he didn't have his id. Karen reminded me that she couldn't sell a restricted item without proper identification--even if I was feeling generous and had just met the guy. My mistake, but kudos to Karen for following the rules while still being friendly and professional. She made the whole experience pleasant. Great customer service!

While the Walgreens webside is "challenging" due to programming issues and the company has "supply issues", my brain abilities find it a game to help me with my needs. But, it is well worth playing this game between the weekly sales, store/mfg coupons, statewide % disc for certain $ amts purchased, and rewards $$ earned, I do quite well. The supply issue was part of the game today because several stores were short on at least one item; the program does the update in the recalculaation by store, not me, fortunately. Well, to close out this week's marathon, the Walgreen's store on Gunn and Anderson had all of my items and reported it "ready for pick-up" in under 10 minutes. I am a regular customer at this location and bring my 91-year-old father with me every single day,…read morebut my experience today was completely unacceptable. When I received my drink at the drive-thru, it was clearly made with the wrong milk. I politely asked the drive-thru employee for a remake with non-fat milk. Instead of simply fixing it, a tall, stocky, bearded employee--who I later learned is a manager named Mahlon--came to the window to confront me. He argued with me about the order, claiming he saw the barista use the right milk based on the cap color, and sarcastically told me he would remake it, but "it's still going to be the same color." When I received the "remade" drink, the color was still off, and after a few sips, it tasted terrible--leaving an awful taste in my mouth and making me suspect it wasn't actually remade. I went inside to request a full refund. Rather than handling the situation professionally, Mahlon confronted me again at the register. He escalated the situation by aggressively claiming, "You complain all the time and always ask to have your drinks remade," and proceeded to interrogate and bait me over whether I've ever had a drink remade in the past. As a loyal daily customer, being argued with, patronized, and interrogated over a drink error is absurd. Customer service here has severely declined, and I hope management addresses Mahlon's argumentative behavior.
