Gas stations are one in the same, right? Dirty pumps, random trash bins that are overflowing with…read moregarbage, and a cast of random characters; whether they work there or are patrons can sometimes be difficult to decipher. Speedway, in some ways, tries to differentiate itself from the pack with a slew of remodeled stores with clean fixtures, new products, and all the things that make you feel like you're in a pretty decent establishment- this location is not like that. The inside is dirty. D I R T Y. I wanted to get an early morning coffee to get through the morning. Fruit flies- they were everywhere. Not in a "oh you're being dramatic" way, but in "there were at least a dozen" way. I shooed my way through them and tried getting a flavored coffee shot. Every one of them way empty. Most of the milk containers were empty as well. Eventually, after too much trying, I was able to get a coffee together. If there is any silver lining it's knowing my coffee is Dunkin Donuts brand (maybe that's where I should have gone.) I also grabbed a soda since they have that .69 deal if you have a membership with them. Now, I'll go back here- only to get gas. I will never find myself back in this location.

I would just come in for coffee in the morning even if I did not need to gas my car. It was that good, they also had great drink specials as well which I also used to come by just to get it. I never did try their food which they also have but then again I have never tried Wawa's either. There is something about gas station food that turns me off no matter how good people say it is. Their gas prices are fair though. I was in the area and needed gas so I came down memory lane and use this gas station. I also came in to get pick up a coffee, and I was pleasantly surprised by updated machines they have. You will never ever get cold coffee from here, as each cup is made individually to order. It is a little high tech and the clerk have to show me how to use it but after I got the hang of it (after two failed attempts) I had the best gas station cup of coffee I remember having in a very long time. Yes and that includes Wawa. This area in North Lauderdale is getting a lot of love. A lot of stores have opened including a super Walmart over the last few years, and a brand new plaza has surfaced as well. It is becoming quite the little commercial center. Race track is by far the best gas station in the area.

I also remember the loooong lines during Hurricane Wilma, late October of '05. They had a little auto repair shop back then. For whatever reason, this station has changed along with its owners a few times and it only gets better. Recently it has become a Chevron. They have ten (10) fully functional pumps, including Diesel, and a small convenience store that offers a variety of products and a breakfast/coffee station. They keep the gender neutral bathroom neat, and the pumps have windshield wash buckets filled with clean water and receipt rolls in their printers. There's nothing that irks me more at a gas station than to have to go inside for a receipt! Moreover, they provide two air stations: One on the south entrance (77th Street) and the other vacuum/air on the entrance from Pine Island. Most importantly, the prices are competitive with other gas stations within a five mile radius. In fact, I filled up a couple of days ago at $2.13, which was $.02/gal. cheaper than the rest. Juan, the regular afternoon/evening attendant, is cordial and I really like how he keeps his uniform clean-cut and professional. If it wasn't because they're lagging in updating their business name and information, along with providing a working phone number--even the number off the Chevron website (9547260627) is a non-working number, this business would be flawless.

I love stopping inside a Wawa store and be surprised by the choices of foods, snacks, drinks, etc…read morethat I can get.... I had never seen these Banana Bites chocolates before ... anywhere else..... The store was busy with people buying sandwiches and stuff from the kitchen area, so for me, it was easy to grab my bag of snack, pay and get on my way. I have wholesale club memberships where I can get gas a bit cheaper, but I still prefer this location. It is on my way to and from everything. It is well lit, and there is a 7-11 where I can get my coffee fix. They also offer car washes which are not expensive at all, and after four you get one free. It really is a matter of convenience for me. I'll be back in a few days.

He's the only employee who repeatedly tells me the machine is down and I buy tickets there often. It seems he just doesn't want to deal with the lottery machine because it takes time away from dealing with other customers. If that's the case, the store shouldn't be selling tickets. I have since reported him and the store to the lottery commission. The people who work at this 7-Eleven there are downright nasty, especially Amin and Cathy. They won't see another dollar from me.

Their breakfast burritos and hoagies are usually my go-to picks, but I decided to opt for the lunch burrito this time around. I no longer use the app since I moved to Georgia but luckily their online ordering system is just as convenient. Now the price of that burrito? Wild. They even charge extra for fajita style veggies :( But I'm greedy and the craving had already set in so $10 later, I had the burrito in my cart for curbside pickup. Upon arrival, we needed to gas up our rental a bit so I figured I'd just head inside anyways. When I walked up to the pickup area to let the team know that I was picking up an order that was supposed to be curbside, I didn't even get a hello. Zero acknowledgment, they just continued going about their business like I was a ghost. Awkwardddd. Luckily, a manager had just come from out the back and I got his attention telling him about my order. He apologized profusely and passed me my order which was sitting right there waiting to be passed onto me. I appreciated that! When I opened my (sealed) bag of goodies, I was pleasantly surprised at how big the burrito was. I see why it was so pricey honestly! It was packed with all the ingredients I chose (veggies, jalapeños, chicken, cheese, a bit of chipotle + salsa, and not too much rice/beans). I'm also glad I went inside because I always want extra salsa or hot sauce and it wasn't included, it really sealed the deal. The burrito was delicious!! I also ordered a cinnamon pull apart roll that was so good to end my meal with as I washed it down with a Wawa lemonade. Just a delicious experience, I can't wait to be back at Wawa when I'm in my hometown.

After the replacement, I start to hear an odd noise from my breaks. I go back, Mark says it's a defective break, it's under warranty, we'll replace. Wonderful. Now is the good stuff. He than says I need a new drive shaft... why? No good answer. He's saying your risking driving your car out of the lot.... I drive it my buddies house who's a mechanic and takes a look, everything is perfectly fine with the drive shaft. I thought we could trust you Tony. So so sad.
