The owner of this gas station told me to go to this machine and call the company to get my $12.00 back. Sounds easy and fun, right?

Using the car wash is gambling your money. On 5/16 around 9:15 AM. I prepaid for gas and the car wash. "The Works" is $12.00. The cashier did not tell me to enter the code at the bottom of my receipt in the car wash machine. She was clearly new but very nice. Of course, there is a chance I did not hear her behind the glass and her face mask (excellent that she is wearing one and she even kicked a customer out without one until he came back with one), however, the receipts and credit cards serve as proof of transactions, so why would there be any problems? I assumed that the car wash did not show as prepaid based on the screen and other indicators. Since I had to go back to get my prepaid gas receipt anyway, I didn't think it would be a big deal to get my refund for an extra $12 I paid. Essentially, I paid for the car wash twice now and it was a good wash! When I went to get my gas receipt and asked for the refund, I wasn't concerned that the broken machine did not spit out the receipt since the cashier was nice and they could see my credit card transaction. I was wrong not to be concerned. The cashier rightfully went to her manager, who is also the owner of this 7-11, to authorize the $12 refund since I paid $24.00 for a single car wash. This man was nasty. He belittled me and his employee. He initially told me to go to the machine and call the company and complain to them. Are you kidding me? Over $12.00? It's such a minuscule amount to the business owner of a cash cow, and even to most customers. I have been getting gas here often for the last nine years. Never again. The owner was arguing with me, making nasty comments, and putting the responsibility of his car wash service on me to deal with. I don't know what was up with this guy, but deflecting me to deal with a vendor over $12.00 is nuts. Unfortunately, I had to inform him that my family has been shopping here for 27 years and myself for nine, and only then did he refund me. He said he didn't own the station that long and was "the only reason" he believed me. I feel bad for the employees here and other customers that had to argue with this terrible person for ten minutes over a small amount of money and principle. This is my first Yelp review ever. Avoid this place. Hope this is helpful!

I've also tried both their coffee and their matcha, and it's always hit the spot (finally, a place that promises lavender flavor and actually delivers!). Sadly I've never been able to just sit inside and enjoy my order (I've always either been on my way somewhere or about to head to the movies), but I love he overall vibe of the cafe and appreciate that they're trying to be a third space. Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

This Southwest Ranches location is their first brick-and-mortar café, though they've now expanded to Northern California. I first tried them at a Yelp event at their truck next to the Southwest Ranches Farmers Market, and I was immediately impressed. Haute Coffee specializes in unique artisan espresso drinks, specialty lattes, matcha, chai, and other elevated coffee creations. They offer organic roasted coffee, sun-roasted for optimal flavor and free from pesticides. Their syrups are kosher and halal certified, and their menu is complemented by house-made artisan pastries. There's plenty of indoor seating for enjoying your drinks, working, or relaxing, plus a few tables out front. The coffee menu is extensive, with hot and cold options prepared multiple ways and a variety of milk choices, including non-dairy. I stopped by for a seasonal hot peppermint mocha. When my drink was ready, they called my name--but before I could grab it, a gentleman accidentally took it and took a sip! The look on his face was priceless. The staff quickly remedied the situation by making both of us new drinks, which was handled perfectly. If you're in the area and looking for a sweet treat and a high-quality caffeinated pick-me-up, I highly recommend Haute Coffee--a charming café with inventive drinks, great pastries, and a fun, friendly vibe.

They do have a wide variety of coffee flavors as well as signature and seasonal coffees/lattes they seem to have on rotation. The pistachio iced coffee I decided to go with and what I really like is the option to add condensed milk which you don't hear very often and really reminds me of home overseas. The staff was great in making recommendations, extremely pleasant throughout the buying process and even there after when I was leaving. I'll definitely go back especially to their other pastries!

Today, we ordered the Iced Caramel Macchiato, Iced Cinnamon Roll Latte, Spicy Beef Empanada, and their Key lime Pie. The coffees were good, but in my opinion, their pastries and snacks tasted better and left a bigger impression on me. The coffee flavors, I felt like I can find them elsewhere but the key lime pie was nice- just sweet enough and right level of tartness. The spicy beef empanada was nice too or maybe I was just hungry. You make sure to try it and let me know if it was really good or no. They offer indoor and outdoor seating but are both limited so get there at the right time or be ready for Togo. The interior is cleanly decorated and they seem to have put in a lot of time hand writing out the special menu and seasonal items. Yes I would recommend this place to others. Yes I would definitely visit the Wild Mug Coffee Bar again.

But literally, make sure you keep an eye out for Bamboo Grove signs while you're driving because it's easy to miss. At $8.99 it's definitely on the expensive side, but I also feel like the portion was pretty big. The quality was DEFINITELY there. It was absolutely delicious. The area is cute too. I brought my laptop to work for a while in the shade, and there were groups ranging from families with little kids to people on their lunch breaks. The space is shared with another truck but I think they serve food. At Whole Latte Monkeys I was sad to see that the truck was not open on the inside, but from what I could see, the set up and decor inside the truck was very cute. I placed my order at the window, and got a Lavender iced Matcha latte with oat milk, a vanilla latte with oat milk and a Papito Chulo with oat milk. As I was ordering, I realized some of the names of the drinks are named after some of the monkeys they have shown on display in the truck which was a very cute touch. I wasn't able to read the stories of the monkeys, but I will certainly ask next time. The cashier/barista was very kind and patient while I decided what to order. I wasn't too crazy about the matcha, because I love a stronger, more astringent matcha, but the Papito Chulo was a hit and I would come back for that drink. Overall such a cute spot, great coffee and a hidden gem in this area. I'd definitely come back with friends and family to grab a drink, walk around the garden and relax.

HIDDEN COFFEE SHOP…read more.. I heard about this urban legend for years but this morning I had to get to the bottom of it and hunted for it by gps, and guess what? IT REALLY EXISTS.... Located deep in NE Weston, tucked behind a Shell gas station cushioned against W StRd 84, is this coffee shop called Watts & Coffee. This cafe began inside of Alex's Bicycle Pro Shop years ago with a simple coffee machine to support the local bicycle clubs. A few months ago, the bicycle shop was purchased by new owners who placed a semi-secure (EDITED...it is on wheels and seldomly moves except for special events and catering) coffee truck in the front parking lot of the business, which is currently closed and opens at 10am. Of course I took pics, but its so odd that you must see it for yourself to understand. As I drive into the secluded (not scary though) parking lot, I observe bicycles stationary at a bike rack in front of a large food truck with the name Watts & Coffee displayed on the face of the truck and a wide open window with a guy inside. A small wooden table sporting an umbrella for shade to the side with three bicycle enthusiasts wearing their full bicycle attire sitting with their coffee chatting. Still unsure of this place but very curious. I met with the sole employee, Juan, who happily greeted me and discussed the pastries and Italian coffee options. The inside boasted two old time full aprons hanging on the wall, beautiful shiny steel espresso machine and several pastry items in a display case which includes: Pon de Bona, Chicken Empanada, Ham and Cheese Bread, Tequeno, Blueberry and Cinnamon Muffins - most items for $3.99. Some cold drinks offered are Red Bull, Celsius, Izze Sparkling Soda and of course Gatorade. For true coffee gurus they sell a gourmet specialty pouch of Watts&Coffee 100% Arabica for $17.99 - i guess there are flakes of gold mixed inside the grinds. They also advertise a 16oz frothy coconut refreshing drink for $7.99. OK, the shot of the Italian espresso was very hot and delish, not uncommon though, but at a steep $3.99, which is at the higher end for a single espresso. Just a very little coffee shop with a unique twist. I will return soon to try the blueberry muffin. Strong 3.7 star rating during this adventure.

The Cortado was smooth and silky with perfectly textured milk. Also grabbed a slice lemon blueberry cake as well as a beef empanada. Couldn't be happier. They have some seating in there which was made out of pallets and wood. Super cool. If you are looking for a good cup of coffee, run, don't walk here.

My light meal was brought out to me, and I enjoyed every bite of the perfectly made croissant while sipping on my requested extra hot coffee. As people came and went, I found myself admiring the decor and the friendliness of the staff. The whole place feels cozy, hip, and welcoming. Before leaving, I decided I wasn't done yet and ordered a cortada (hopefully I'm spelling that right). I waited by the counter, but the lady kindly told me she would bring it to my table, even though I didn't mind waiting. It was divine as always. Even the unique little glass cup with its interesting handle stood out to me, and yes, once again, the coffee was perfectly extra hot just the way I like it. I truly enjoyed my alone time there. It can get a little noisy, but honestly, once you settle into your own little zone, you barely notice. I'm off for the week, so I'll probably end up back here again in a couple of days since I'll be in the area. All in all, Ella Cafe is a must try coffee shop experience. After waiting 35 minutes for my latte, I finally had to go ask about it myself. There was no apology, no acknowledgment, just "we'll make it." After another 5 minutes of waiting, I noticed the cashier remind the barista again. She eventually brought the latte to the table, dropped it off, and walked away -- no "thank you for waiting," no apology, nothing. It's a shame because the place has so much potential, but customer service can completely change the experience. Sadly, after this visit, we won't be coming back.
