They have a wonderful selection. And they are the only place I know that correctly calls "sausage kolaches" as their real name--Klobásník--or Klobásníky (plural.) but don't expect those to still be there. On a weekday, they might still have these Czech treats until 3 pm, but on the weekends, they go fast! Always friendly staff and i just love looking through their home decor. They have the cutest little tchotchkes that are locally crafted and so wonderful for home, garden, or lawn. I have bought many a christmas and birthday gift on the way. Great metal art as well! The bathrooms are always clean and smell fine. I highly recommend stopping at least one time to see everything they have to offer. It's a true, "small Texas town" stop! Oh, and set the GPS! It's one of those "blink and you'll miss it" towns. One light and then it's gone.

This time instead of exploring their packaged snack products I thought about how much room we have left in our car and flying it home so I decided against it. I did buy 3 of their small cup size Blue Bell dark chocolate ice cream- for all of us but the cashier gave only one spoon. It tasted so good I had hubs go get me a large size one since I didn't eat a normal lunch and it was past 5 pm. While I waited in the car with the grandpup. I wanted to find some Bucee items for Doc since she's been our road trip driver plus made all the arrangements for hotels, tickets to parks, dinner show, etc. We all got different things: hubs got small bags of jerky, Doc got her favorite brisket sandwich to share with her Frenchie, a sausage on a stick and 3 peach cobblers for each of us to try. I like the large amount of clean restroom stalls plus soap. The cone of warmed sugary pecans and cinnamon bites were a sweet snack- finally gone from the first Buc-ee's a week ago. Before leaving Doc had us take a selfie and a nice gentleman also took a couple for us too.

Its consistency is like mush, and not like muscle fibers. There was nothing lean brisket vs fatty brisket. The brisket had holes throughout, making it look even more like an ultra processed deli meat or even lab grown. I was disgusted, to say the least. They also have ZERO options for people conscious of the ingredient lists. We bought popcorn and the bag was open at the bottom. I opted the top and it was super stale. I realized it was open on the bottom and the store game me a hard time about exchanging it. It's pretty clear the sealing process failed for this bag. We won't be shopping here anymore, nor will we eat their food. But if you're visiting Texas and come across one, it's a fun stop to pass time.

The place is enormous, with bright lighting, oversized signage, and enough merchandise to keep you wandering through the store for hours. Buc-ee's branding is everywhere, from water bottles and tumblers to outdoor furniture and clothing. One of the first things you'll notice is how incredibly clean everything is, especially the restrooms. My favorite feature? The red and green occupancy lights above each stall, eliminating the awkward lean-and-peek maneuver to check for availability. The food selection is a major highlight and far beyond what you'd expect from a typical travel stop. Fresh barbecue, brisket tacos, sandwiches, and the famous Beaver Nuggets are at your fingertips. There is also an astonishing selection of jerky, both packaged and freshly sliced, along with endless snacks, sweets, and drinks. And yes, they even have an in-store tortilla station. They have a whole bunch of merchandise you can look at or purchase, a lot of food options, snacks, a variety of fountain drink flavors to choose from, coffees, Icee flavors and so much more. They have clean bathrooms with a lot of stalls, that are stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. During this trip my husband got a pineapple flavored fizzy drink. He said he can't find anything like it anywhere else. I tried it and it was super sweet. I purchased a large rice crispy treat that they sold by the register at the checkout. It lasted me a few days and was delicious. On a side note we did visit in the late afternoon after 7:00 pm so we didn't really have to deal with overcrowding but there was still quite a few people there. Overall Buc-ee's was a good stopping place to walk around and browse or buy items. They have very friendly people working there and it's a good place to take a bathroom break during a road trip.

I was impressed by the modern interior, cleanliness, spacious aisles and the cold beer vault. The store basically sits in a residential neighborhood. If you're in the mood for some fried chicken or pizza they do have a kitchen which serves that up. They do have a small table inside and two more outside in case you'd like to dine there. Their gas prices were reasonable and they also sell propane tanks. This store is definitely worth stopping at and the photos below confirm it.

Manager was rude saying I didn't know how to operate a fuel pump. accusing me of being on the phone. I was watching my gauge and watching the pump but I couldn't see the nozzle overflowing and I couldn't hear it due to the wind and it was very cold or I would have been standing by the pump. He couldn't comprehend English and I called 911 to figure out what to do about the 10gallons of fuel underneath my truck and trailer with horses. time had passed to where it was evaporating but should have had kitty litter thrown in it. legally his pump should turn off, legally he should have cleaned up the spill. I'm not certain he is legally in this country. I reported him to every Government department I could think of involving rules and regulations on fuel nozzles and spills. I will not be going back and until his pumps are fixed, it is dangerous for anyone to be near the fuel pumps.

This is highway robbery. This store is the most expensive store in all of LaGrange. There are also no prices marked on anything so you don't know what the cost is until you get to the counter.
