7-11 Corporate inviting me back.
Noel B.

This is a 2 Part review (part 1) so let me tell you about the good things. And a little time-travel. I grew-up in a small town; Kennewick, WA. 7-11 were popping up everywhere. The 7-11 off of Edison Street became my local hangout. Would spend hours there, playing the pinball machine. It's where I got my comic books. Meet up with other kids in the neighborhood... as a preteen. Summers run in no shoes or shirt and grab a Slurpee on a hot summer day. Every visit to this location is like traveling back in time, nostalgic and delicious. Have to mention 2 chili cheese dogs, for a dollar. This location has a Niche... only place you can get 2 corndogs $3 in a 10 mile radius. The general mini mart, then and 7-11. damn, near 50 years of patronage. Also this location has mexi fast food. Until I die A 7-11 will always be my quick stop. Part 2, 0 Star rating. I had stopped in for corndogs one afternoon. same group of corndogs were setting in the warmer that were their at 4am. They were quite nasty looking. I asked for fresh cooked corndogs. Checking out, I told the clerk tell the manager those are nasty and a Food & Health violation, not safe for consumption after 8 hours. A couple weeks later the manager asked me to step outside, creating a confrontation by making false accusations. She totally picked a fight with me. I drove away. A few days later reported the incident to corporate offices of 7-11. About a month later received an email inviting me back to the store. The manager violated 7-11 policy by asking me outside and creating a conflict. She got herself terminated. After a couple weeks of going back into the store buying my usual items. June 26th the store owner told me. I'm not aloud in the store, using one of the accusation's the X-store manager used. Deliberately trying to piss me off. I call this the charlatan tactic. Every once in a while, life throws you a curve ball. Dealing with this curve ball... I've got to educate the store owner, and protect my reputation. in the next few days, he'll be receiving my Demand letter; requesting slander damages of $1500, and requesting $1500 for retaliation; empowering management to correct a public food and safety issue. I'll post the outcome of my demand letter.

Holy Crap! This is the best!

So, I'm a bit of a 7-Eleven aficionado. I've been visiting 7-Eleven ever since I came to California all those years ago. They've got snacks, they've got medicine, they've got batteries and lil doo-dads and gizmos and anything you might need while out on a road trip, or going to work, or on your way home. They're handy. And cheap. When my friends told me about the ten thousand square foot 7-Eleven in San Diego, I knew a trip had to be arranged. Eventually I found myself out on an Adventure in San Diego. I pulled into this place, and was amazed at the sights, sounds, and smells of the place. Gone were the carafes and pots of coffee, replaced by high tech coffee machines with recipes for an assortment of coffee drinks. Touch screens and whooshing graphics ran across them all. The fountain machines and slurpee machines also had the touch screens and whooshing graphics. Everything whooshed and ads and I stood transfixed by them all. Taco Stand. "Wait....did you say taco stand??" "Yes, we have a taco stand!!" There's a taco stand. Laredo Taco is INSIDE the 7-Eleven. Let me repeat that. Laredo Taco is INSIDE the 7-Eleven. It's that big. So. After hyperventilating like a fat kid in a candy shop, I took my time and explored. Walk In Beer Cooler. Taco Stand. In addition to the hot food rolly-thingy, there was a secondary hot case with assorted hot things. Corn Dogs, tamales, empanadas, egg rolls and burritos. In addition to the cold sandwich and salad case, there was a secondary cold case with desserts of assorted sorts. I saw cheesecake and parfaits in there. Everything looked delicious! Holy Crap! Munchies. Cold Drinks. Soda, beer, water....pretty much anything that'd wet my whistle. Salty snacks, sweet snacks. Pretty much anything you'd want to munch on while on an adventure, or sitting in your motel room marveling at the supercool 7-Eleven you just visited. They even had Pokemon Cards! Dang! THEN I saw the bar style cold/nitro brew dispenser. FIVE flavors of each! I visited twice on my adventure. I tried a breakfast torta, and some breakfast tacos. Both were wonderful. I tried a chicken empanada. Wondrous. I tried Aztec Mocha coldbrew coffee. Magical. This place is a veritable mecca for anyone who enjoys the convenient and cheaper things in life. All of this majesty and wonder even comes with 7-Eleven convinces and prices. And you get points with the Application. Oh Thank Fuckin Heaven.

So nice inside. Everything is brand new and organized very nicely. The staff is so nice , wonderful customer service. I've been back multiple times with my wife already & the selection is great . Candy, snacks, food, smoothies, coffee & that beer cave . The wait for this 7 eleven 2.0 was definitely worth it. Will definitely be back.

Still 5 Stars, although the hype has wore off this 7-Eleven still hands down is one of the best. The employees are so friendly and always greet you when you enter. The selection is awesome and the store is clean, well lit and safe. So glad this pilot store chose my neighborhood.

Once I was settled into my room and my work was done for the day I needed to head out and grab some…read moresnacks and drinks for my room. 7-Eleven wasn't my intended destination, but I did end up getting more from here than I expected to be able to grab elsewhere. This is possibly one of the nicest 7-Eleven stores I have been to in my life. It was clean, it was organized, and it was stocked. Something that I am not accustomed to. Even though they are well stocked, it doesn't mean the selection is vast. It is somewhat limited to certain brands and of the items they do have you don't get to choose a better one because of that. I feel like that might because of the size of the store as it was not a traditional store set up. That's probably the biggest drawback of this location. The size is limited because it is located on street level of a newer building. Street level is a bit of a stretch as the entrance is on the side street and down a small hill. Customer service was great. The employees working were helpful and swift with the transaction. Able to watch the store and answer customer question while checking my items out.

Through the many years when you remember the hot days that were the days that you would walk down…read moreto the corner store and get cold sodas with some of the best cold Ice Cream. The many times you would get the best snacks and the best candy bars that would go great with Ice Cream mixture and combine with soft serve Ice Cream. The many memories of the 711s that would be open 24hours and the many times you would have the crowded mornings. Through the many years that the 711 stor5e4s have been the many places that many times you would see the sheriffs and the many other officers that would come and get coffee in the morning the early mornings the great many things you get at 711s. The many great people that you would see in the morning the many shipments and the distributors that would bring in the many products to the morning. The many times that you would see the many companies that would deliver products and the many food products that would be from the Hot Pizzas and the many great deli sandwiches that are the best and the best in Hot Dogs. With the many great 711s the one location that is in the Little Italy area has been that has been the best in cleanliness and the size of the store is small size with the well done in outside design and the stonework that gives a great atmosphere inside and out, the many products that have they have a great welcome to the housing nearby and the offices close by. Many areas in the Little Italy area are that of restaurants and the gourmet foods that you can pick up and take home. The Store location has some of the best products that you can get such as the Slurpee's and the Monster Drinks with many combos you see at the many. The best location for when you have a great 711 store that you can go to at night and get the milk you need, or you may have to get meat products. One of the greatest things that the 711 stores have the best morning doughnuts and the many great coffees when you have those that bring in their own coffee mugs and get the favorite morning coffees. With the great location that is just a short walk from the Trolley Station with the number 83 bus connection which is located close by the store. In closing as a Yelp Elite Reviewer this is one of the best and the closest location when you take a trip up into the Little Italy area with the short walk to India Street with the Historical area there is much to see and have cold drinks when you stop in at the 711 store up from the trolley.

Prices did seem a bit inflated but you're in a Ralph's downtown in San Diego so it was expected. Bathrooms require a code with a purchase from the store which was also to be expected. Employees there are definitely rude and sarcastic which brought down the experience of going there. I entered the store and found my way to the back were the bathrooms are only to find that I needed a code to unlock the door. I suppose that is a necessary evil given the homeless problem in and around the store. For folks like me who just need to pee, it was a real hassle. I scouted around the store for a couple of minutes looking for an employee who might provide me with the code. After not having any luck, I said "F*ck it" and left. I just held it until we arrived at the building where the car was parked and used the facilities there. The store, did however, look like a pretty good Ralph's if you live or were staying nearby.

I usually come here for a quick, fast , and affordable car wash, and it is convienently located near me. The gas area is tight and limited, but eventually, you can squeeze in even on a busy day. They have quite a few gas pumps and some store parking up front for the personnel, not needing gas. Inside the store is spacious and clean and they sell many drink varietys and snacks. They offer alcohol beverages and tobacco products as well. As for the car wash, it is built in the same space as the gas station. You can easily pay for your car wash while pumping gas, or you can just pull up to the car wash area and pay with a debit/credit card. There are 4 options for the car wash ranging from basic to deluxe, and this time, I went with the standard basic option. The car wash uses high-pressure water soap and also has scrubbers to get your car looking beautiful. The dryer has vents blowing from the left side and right side with a 60-second timer. At this time, you are allowed to change from park to drive and slowly go through drying off all excess water. Overall, it is a great gas station to go to and pick up some snacks and gas for the road and, of course, a car wash to get your fresh ride looking squeaky clean. There is a vacuum and air for your tires in the station for an additional cost. The customer service is always good, and the service is fast as to where you're in and out to continue your day.
