It's the closest 7-11 to my house, close enough where I can walk there. It boarders between having sketchy people to what appears to be normal people in the area. As of this writing, they only have 1 type of unleaded fuel grade. And it's pretty expensive. In fact, the items sold at this store is quite expensive for the quality you're getting. Why? It is the only 24 hour convince store located between Stockton and 65th on Broadway. Pretty much located on a busy street smack in the middle of two other busy streets. As for the employees working there: I had no issues with them. If I could be a little empathetic and give a brief view of what they must encounter on the daily......Most of the customers that frequent or visit this store are on the 'sketchy' side. Thus dealing with this type of people day in, day out must change the view on most. read more

Food is overcooked and they aren't honest with their shelf pricing. I picked something up off the shelf that was priced 2 different ways, one was $3.39 and the other was $3.79. When I took it to the counter I rang up at $4.59. The clerk told me "oh that's the wrong price on the shelf". I told him he needed to give me one of the prices listed. Then he tells me the wings are $5.99 for 5 and it rings up at $8. So apparently they tax for food and a lot at that. It took waaayyyy too much effort on my part to get them to finally give me the shelf price of the shelf item but had no energy left to fight for the wings. Bottom line this place is not honest or fair and while I know it's no 5 star restaurant, the food was stale and dry and clearly overpriced. The store does serve the technical purpose of convenience, but there's not a lot to rave about beyond that. I've stopped in a handful of times for various needs and there's no reason for me to go out of my way for this particular 7-11. For starters, gas is expensive and there is only one pump. That right there makes it not the first choice for gas, but for argument's sake this isn't primarily a gas station. They do have a well-stocked selection, including the famous slurpees and the infamous hot dogs that no human should dare consume. On the other hand, service is not the friendliest and the clientele can also be the folks wandering the parking lot for change. In short, don't expect any sort of fantastic experience, stop in if your nearby and in need of something quick then move on. read more

My family and I frequent this establishment often, several times per week. Even though their items are overpriced and they are lacking inventory quite often, we still go to support a small business. Today my daughter bought a Coke Zero, took a sip and it was rancid. I went back into the store and asked if I could exchange it for a different one. The first cashier who helped me would not exchange it because it was open. The second person that came to help, assuming a supervisor of some kind said the same thing. I left the spoiled soda on the counter and will not return. This type of customer service is inexcusable, a place of business should stand behind the products they are selling to the public. Okay I don't expect a lot from a 7-11 but I do expect them to be relatively clean and not smell like the rotting behind of a sad possum. So, it's a 7-11. There are slurpees, junk food, and usually someone taking a nap out front on the sidewalk. Every time I've come here the Slurpee area is in disarray, the unused cups coated in sticky splatter, and the workers are texting on their phones, bored. Whomever owns this place has no pride in it. Worst 7/11 I've ever been to. I live in the neighborhood and they are extremely rude and have no intentions of being kind to people that PURCHASE items from their often and for many years.. I had bought a chocolate cake that was stale. They refused to exchange because there were two bites taken out of it (I had my bf try to make sure I was not trippin). I had to shake them down for another $2.99 cake.. and they did not want to give it up. Not to mention, their disgusting parking lot that they leave bags full of trash sitting in for MONTHS. I stopped going here but man, it's a good spot for a 7/11. The employees here don't have customer service training at all. Don't know whether they realize it or not but everytime i came here, they were rude. And stare at you like you about to steal something lmao. Also BTW: they ONLY have REGULAR 87 gas. that's great if you have a 2001 camry but i'm sure there are people like me who need to pump 91. I purchased gas on the morning of November 2, 2018, and the manager of the 7/11 told me that someone had mistakenly put (after I filled up paying with my card) $10 towards the pump that I had just used to fill up my car. The 7/11 manager forced me to pay that $10 to the person that had supposedly put the initial money on the pump. Once I checked my bank account, I realized the manager was wrong and I had paid for my gas and paid $10 for some random person's gas as well. Simple review- -Its a typical 7-11. -Slurpee machine with the flavor you want is always out. -Red Box outside. -Always strangely busy at midnight and of course after school/work hours. -Coffee is hot but they never have the multiple cup trays. -Nice and friendly older guys behind the counter but some of the younger guys just look like they hate life and hate working. -They now have that $5.55 pizza. OK so 4 stars seems a little high for a 7-11 but I'm trying to keep the rating in the category. So in the 7-11 category, this is a 4. The employees are very friendly and they tell me I look younger than my age. That's always nice and probably counts for a whole star. The store is well-stocked and I like that they carry fresh fruit so i can get a snack that isn't totally gross-o. What I don't like about this location is the other customers. Reasons I like this station: It's a little slice of inner city right in my residential neighborhood. It's a way to get a fill-up on my way to work. No detour required. We stopped in here to gas up around 11:30 on a Friday night. I was very grateful to find a neighborhood gas station open for fill-ups so late! I had also wanted to pop into the store itself to grab something to drink, but there were a couple lingering guys asking for money and looking generally creepy so we passed. I've been to this 7-11 a few times over the years and it is pretty much the same run-of-the-mill store as 7-11s go. Refrigerators full of overpriced soda and a bountiful selection of fine alcoholic beverages such as high gravity, Nighttrain, and Ripple. I suppose after select your fine 40oz of liquid bliss that you will wrap with that classic brown bag you can select which bacteria infested hot dog you can get off the rollers. Then as you make your way to the counter you can deal with the older lecherous dude who will unabashedly STARE at your lady in an attempt to eyeball screw her the whole time during the transaction. I mean for shitsake dude you could at least look at me while I'm giving you the money and stop that creepy stare look shit. Well suffice it to say we wrapped that experience up and GTFO of there. Everything's just a little bit off at this 7-Eleven. The air pump hasn't worked in 3 visits and shelves not always fully stocked. But mostly, there's a LOUD ringing motion detector near all the refrigerators that will drive you crazy. It must be miscalibrated because if you move in literally half the store, the thing will go off. It's mad annoying when you're on the phone, or just generally if you have functional ears. The older lady that works in there in the morning. She is always incredibly rude. She always has a condescending attitude. She likes to talk to everyone like she's better than them. She assumes that people are garbage because they shop in her store, she frequently acts like her business is more important than her customers even though her customers are her business. In the past I've come in selected my products and set them on the counter only to have her continue to stock goods for 5 minutes or more while I stand there waiting. My experience today was especially unpleasant. The pumps there don't even keep accurate measurement. I pumped $10 worth of gas, stopped pumping and watched as the gas pump continued to count up and charge me almost an extra dollar and claimed to have put gas into my tank that never went into it as the gas was no longer pumping. When I mentioned this to her she said that I was wrong. She told me that the pump was working just fine as I watch the pump counting up on its own, all the while it's charging my debit account. Then when I try to mention the fact that I probably didn't even get an accurate amount of gas and that I got overcharged and ask if they can make the situation right. She became even more rude she denied that the pump worked wrong, I mentioned that she was being quite rude about the situation asked if she wanted to rectify the situation and then she said" you are very rude shut up you piece of crap" at which point I was gobsmacked for words and I left the store to contact customer service. She did all of this in front of the customers which was incredibly unprofessional and to top it off was completely dishonest and deceitful about the entire situation. To wrap this up. don't shop here because the franchisee owners are rude and they don't appreciate their customers. Secondly the gas pumps don't even keep accurate measurement of the gas that you're paying for and you'll probably end up getting ripped off. I have shopped here consistently for the last 30 years or so. BUT that is about to end. When I go to 711 the last thing I want is to be assaulted by prayer BLASTING over the sound system in the store. I don't care if it's Christian prayer, Muslim prayer, pagan prayer, WHATEVER. 711 has NO business broadcasting this sort of thing ON the sound system in the store during operating hours. This guy tried to rip me off. I went in around 8pm on a Sunday night. I asked if he still had any wings left. He said if I wait he would make some. Which is not An abnormal thing. I grabbed a beverage and he rang me up for the 10 piece which should and always has been 10 for $5 but the total came to $11.88 for the wings and the soda. I asked him and he told me they were $.89 each. I pointed out the sign that said 10 for $5 then he said something I couldn't understand and mumbled something like "they are full price right now" he saw the look on my face and went to put them in the microwave. And suddenly he spun around and "I'm sorry I don't have them." I wonder how much this guy makes padding prices. He suddenly doesn't have any wings because he knew he'd been caught. I looked all over the menu and couldn't find anything about them being $.89 each. I had a great exchange with a cashier when buying plastic forks during the summer; but this last time was something else. I called to see if they carried a certain brand of cigarettes, for a friend. Whoever answered the phone, mumbled something and hung up the phone. I didn't quite understand his answer so I called back. The phone rang and rang and rang. Then someone picked up the receiver and slammed it down. That wasn't the answer I was looking for either so I called back again. My review is based on the wonderful customer service I have received here. I usually come rushing in just trying to buy a drink or a snack, and I always get a nice greeting from the cashier. I can't really say much about their food options, but in my opinion it's a typical 7-eleven. Also, for those needing a last minute six pack of beers, this is a great quick stop. read more

My son and I usually go to the 7-11 on 43rd after school and I think i will stick to them from now on. So I walk in and there are two or three foreign guys speaking in their language very loud near the cash register. So we make our way over to the soda fountain and I notice that there was an area where they are supposed to put cups that is very dirty crusted with food debris which grossed me out. The soda fountain area needed to get wiped down and remove the excess ice in the tray. I started to feel uncomfortable cause the guys were still chatting very loud. So we head to the register and the guy ringing people up decided to almost and might as well picked his nose and didn't wash his hand and continued to ring up customers, so when I got up there I was grossed out even more. I had been going to this store for over 30 years or longer. Recently, some friends and I were there on a bikeride and purchased several items as we normally do. I am going to admit, we did get a bit loud as we were having a good time on the ride and just generally being silly. After a few moments, the employee came out and told us to leave and said they had enough. Not ONE time did they ask us nicely to leave or anything. They were really ride. What irks me though is that they allow people to sit in front of that store panhandling, drinking, selling and doing drugs, etc. Ive never seem them get asked to leave, even though drug dealing is illegal. Last I checked, being silly was not a felony in California. Bottom like. I will not return. Ill take my hundreds of dollars per year somewhere else. So will my other friends. In addition, the Police will be called each and every time I see drug dealing going on in front of the store, If they want to clean it up, I will definitely help out. I used to think these guys were nice, and I enjoyed going there.. How just a few minutes can change something. Why couldn't they have just come outside and ask us to stop being silly? We were honestly just having fun, talking, laughing, trying to make basket in the garbage cans with bottle PURCHASED from there.
