There is a great variety of seating options: high tables, low tables, a cozy couch area, and tables outside. When you first walk in, there is an impressive display of teas and coffee available to buy, which is fun to browse. You order at the register and then wait for your drinks or pastries, all of which looked delicious. I also loved that their coffee roaster is on display, so you know the coffee is fresh. I had a Gibraltar and it was perfectly made. My wife picked up some tea to take home and has been enjoying it ever since. I really wish we had a coffee shop like Petaluma Coffee & Tea Company where we live, because I would absolutely be a regular.

If you like a milder matcha flavor, you'll probably enjoy it. The flan was my favorite part of the visit. It had a great texture and wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciated. A lot of flans can be a sugar bomb, but this one felt much more balanced. The cafe itself was clean, comfortable, and a nice place to sit for a coffee, pastry, or meeting. I'd definitely order the flan again and would be interested in trying more of their pastries on a future visit.

I enjoyed it, although it tasted almost like a healthy drink because of the bee pollen! I typically enjoy their gluten free pumpkin muffin, which is delicious! This location of avid doesn't have as many food options as their Santa Rosa location, but it's all still very good.
