It's a great thing there are so many other 7-Eleven's to choose from because you can choose not to come to this garbage location. The teller could neither understand English nor could I understand anything she tried to say, and she didn't know how to use the register either. I've been going to the 711 off of vineyard for a few years now and I always can expect a warm friendly welcome with exceptional customer service. Scott is a hard worker and always seems to be working when I stop in for something. I can confidently say every time I've left the store Im in a happier mood then when I came in. I've never waited in line for more than a couple minutes and questions that I've had the employees are quick to help and knowledgeable about their inventory. Started off by asking the cashier a question about product in his store and he responded with a very undermining tone "is that what it says there?" After repeating my question he scoffs and checks the prices informing me that they weren't at the 7-eleven selected price deal although they were in that section of the aisle. Continuing throughout the store where it's well over 90 degrees fahrenheit as is expected on a summer day in the city of Ontario. I go ahead and grab myself a ice cup BIG GULP where they tell me that it's $1.39 whether it's soda, water or even just ICE! Which baffled me every other 7-eleven or acro convenience store only charges $0.50 at the most for something of that matter. And after explaining this to them they point out that there's a sign on the machine stating such things. And in that sign it states that BiG GULPs are $79 after pointing this out to the the lady that was sitting down next to the cashier stands up and starts yelling at me that I would need the 7-Eleven APP for them to honor the price, which makes sense for the most part I guess.... under that sign right above the ice dispenser it says $0.50 for a cup of ice and showing them that sign that they had me go look at in the first place. The lady then starts yelling at me that I would need to bring in my own cup... so I settled with that and told them I had one in my car and would be right back in to transfer it into my cup to avoid the TAXED price of $1.39 for an ice cup... and then the lady isn't okay with that either she yells at me saying that if I don't have the APP that they can't honor that price either and that I'm wasting their water and tells me to leave the store and not to ever return. Bluntly unprofessional store with small selection and overpriced items. Not sure how they're still in business. If you've made it this far... you've been warned!!! STAY AWAY!! Over charging for things I never bought and when I asked her why she couldn't explain to me the overcharges

The cashier is very rude and I don't mean to pull the race card but I don't think the fact that I am an primarily african American man helped his rudeness either. I thought maybe I was over thinking the situation but even he customer in front of me , which was Hispanic noticed his rudeness and was pretty much treated the same way. I don't know how useful or helpful this would be to him or the situation but the guy should really lighten up, and if he doesn't like people maybe he should get a warehouse job where the human contact is much more limited. On top of everything the guy lied to me when I tried to load cash on to my prepaid debit card , told me the system was down. When I asked if it was just this location or others as well he replies "I don't know I just know this one is down" , didn't even attempt to try , when I went to the 7-Eleven down the street the guy did it no problem , even told me it'll only be down if they try it two times and only for an hour , he told me the guy just lied and didn't want to help. Racist. I'm a Latin woman and they did not honor their .50 cent cup of water fee sign. After kindly referenced the sign, I was kicked out. It was a very unpleasant situation to feel discriminated upon. I was not able to get a cup of water for .50 cents like their sign states. I did not have my debit card, just .50 cents. read more

I felt like I was racially profiled. I ask one of the employees for a hot dog and right after a WHITE man ask for two hot dogs. She first got HIS hot dogs which were the better cooked ones and I got left with the less cooked ones which she just microwaved to make it warmer.
