Only 1 person working and the store wasn't too busy. She was very nice and helpful. The inside of store could use a modern make over.

One of my favorite chocolate lattes ever came from here…read more It had a light mouthfeel and wasn't too sweet, a well-balanced latte that was neither bitter nor too sweet. Super aromatic and tasted even better since you can see them pulling the espresso shot. My friend's lavender latte was delicious. First floral note giving away to an excellent latte. They know their stuff here. We loved the staff here. Very friendly and helpful, I loved complimenting the baristas on their craft and passing along the cheerfulness from the cashier who was very welcoming. They were very methodical and consistent with each drink, it seems. The shop was cute, with ample parking. The patio was busy-ish with people flocking in and out to pick up their orders once their name was called. I liked the combination of rustic and modern decorations, making for AN EXCELLENT stop before heading in or out of Yosemite. This coffee is worth going out of the way for since you will be leaving very happy after pleasant interactions and a deliiiiiicious coffee. 10/10!

Very disappointing experience. Our family ordered a few…read moredrinks: oat milk lattes, an herbal tea, and a matcha with vanilla for our 9-year-old. Unfortunately, the quality was far below expectations. The coffee had a noticeably salty, unpleasant taste, and the matcha was extremely bitter with no trace of vanilla at all. We order this same drink regularly at other cafés, so we know what it should taste like--this was not it at all. It was also far too strong for a child, despite specifically asking for it to be kid-friendly. When I politely brought this up, I was surprised by how it was handled. I simply asked to add a little vanilla for it to taste better. Instead of offering to remake the drink or find a solution, I was told I would need to purchase a new one. I rarely ever ask for drinks to be redone, but this one was genuinely undrinkable. What made the situation worse was the attitude of the staff. The response felt dismissive and unprofessional, particularly from an employee named DJ. The interaction left us feeling unwelcome and unheard. Overall, poor quality drinks and disappointing customer service. We won't be returning.

They have overflow towards the left when you drive up the incline. You wait to be seated. We were offered an inside table but requested a patio table instead. They accommodated us but it took an additional 10-15 minutes. It was WORTH the wait. The patio is nicely shaded and offers a better experience than say..... Denny's. I ordered their "fantastic" chicken fried steak, 2 eggs over easy, 2 pancakes, and country potatoes. Everything was great! Our server was an awesom dude. You will know it's him when he addresses you as "Amigo." Love you man! Coffee was good and strong and they offered shelf stable 1/2 & 1/2. They have Tobasco, Cholulu, and I believe he said Tapatio. I went with the Cholulu and it was an awesome addition to the CFS. We loved this place. It fueled us up for the grueling hike we did. 5* !!!!! So glad I scoped this place out on Yelp before our trip.

This was by far the best brewery experience I've ever had, and it's all thanks to the hospitality…read moreof the owner, Oscar. We came in on a Saturday afternoon after the river and were instantly welcomed by Oscar and his wife. The brewery has a wide selection of beers, all brewed by Oscar himself, and he was kind enough to let us sample whatever we wanted. Every beer we tried was excellent. We hung out for a while chatting with him, and even asked if he knew of a place to watch an English Premier League game the next day. The closest was in Fresno--until Oscar went above and beyond. He told us not to worry, that he would open the brewery just for us on Sunday, even though he's usually closed! The next day we showed up, and Oscar not only opened the doors but let us use our camping stove outside to make tacos. We all enjoyed them together--Oscar included! We expected to stay for about two hours but ended up staying close to five because we were having such a blast. Oscar gave us a tour of the brewery, made us feel like family in his home, gifted us a round on him, and even let us put on some music where we sang at the top of our lungs. I know this is a long review, but it's for a reason. Most breweries can feel impersonal--serve the beer and move on to the next customer. Shuteye Brewery is different. Oscar connects with people and shows, through his actions, that he truly cares about making sure you have a beautiful experience. On top of that, he's dedicated to his community, constantly doing outreach projects to give back. Simply put, the beer is great, the atmosphere is warm, and the owner is amazing. This place is a gem, and I'll be making it a must-stop every time I'm in the area.

They are also family and dog friendly. This night they had hotdogs grilling outside but noticed some people bringing their own food. I had the mountain lager which was recommended to me by the owner when I asked if they had sours. He said something about it being brewed like a saison so it was as if I was getting a sour and a lager and honestly I loved it. They had games here too. Everyone was friendly and it was very clean. This might just become our go to family night. So fun.

Hands down the BEST caramel macchiato with oat milk I've ever had -- and I've tried a lot. Somehow it's perfectly balanced every single time. The whole experience is just so cute and welcoming. I love the vibe inside with all of the plants, and walking up to the fresh flowers and greenery outside instantly makes it feel special before you even walk through the door. It's one of those places that just feels good to be in -- great coffee, beautiful atmosphere, and all the little details make it memorable. Only thing to know: sometimes there can be a bit of a wait, so maybe don't stop in if you're in a huge hurry... but if you have the time, it is 100% worth it. This would be a great place to study or relax. They also have a sunny outdoor patio. I visited during Memorial Day Weekend, so it was expectedly packed. We waited awhile to order and pick up our food/drinks. The walls showed a range of very cute merch. The food was a bit pricey, which we expected given this tourist location. However, the portions were generous. The breakfast sandwich and acai bowl were both solid, classic brunch items. We also all enjoyed our drinks. The matcha was nice and strong, and there was a lovely cream top. I'd definitely visit this cafe again when I come to Bass Lake!
